### Questions about Panda Tone Toss

#### Why does 小组 sound different from its pinyin tone marks?

In connected speech, two third tones are spoken as a rising tone followed by a third tone. Listening asks for the spoken 2 → 3 pattern. Tone Recall asks for the dictionary 3 → 3 pattern shown by xiǎo zǔ. After your answer, feedback shows both.
