# HSK 1 Chinese Workbooks

Free HSK 1 Chinese workbooks and worksheets to print: reading practice, vocabulary recall, grammar, tones and everyday topics at HSK 1 level.

HSK 1 is the first level of the HSK, the Chinese proficiency test, and these workbooks are written for learners at that level. Two follow the HSK 1 list directly: a reading practice book of signs, messages and short stories, and a vocabulary recall and speaking workbook.

The rest are beginner workbooks at the same level, on the grammar and topics you meet first: 了, measure words, tones, directions, the weather and your daily routine. Pick one topic, print a unit, and say every line out loud as you go. If you're brand new, the complete beginner workbooks are the gentler place to start.
