Traditional characters are the written form used in Taiwan and Hong Kong, and in Taiwan people learn sounds with Zhuyin (bopomofo). These books cover Taiwan Mandarin for trips and daily life, the step from Simplified to Traditional, Zhuyin beside pinyin, and practice for Taiwan's TOCFL and CCCC tests.

Visitors can start with the phrasebook, and learners who read Simplified with the conversion book. By the end you can read and say everyday Taiwan Mandarin and know the formats of the tests used in Taiwan. Most of the books have free audio.

## What is Zhuyin?

Zhuyin, or bopomofo, is the set of sound symbols used in Taiwan instead of pinyin. The Zhuyin–Pinyin Bridge puts every symbol beside its pinyin, with spelling traps, tone marks and practice.
