Choose Listening or Tone Recall, then a difficulty. Listen to a recording or read the Chinese word, unmarked pinyin and English. Tap a target or pull and release the panda. Save practiced words to flashcards after the stage.

Why does 小组 sound different from its pinyin tone marks?
In connected speech, two third tones are spoken as a rising tone followed by a third tone. Listening asks for the spoken 2 → 3 pattern. Tone Recall asks for the dictionary 3 → 3 pattern shown by xiǎo zǔ. After your answer, feedback shows both.
