The sultan's men bring Aladdin back to Baghdad. His palace is gone, the princess is gone, and the sultan wants someone to pay.

That morning, the sultan's men found Aladdin in the mountains.
- Aladdin 你们是国王的人？你们绑我做什么？
Nǐmen shì guówáng de rén? Nǐmen bǎng wǒ zuò shénme?
You're the sultan's men? Why are you tying me up?
- Narrator 他们和阿拉丁回到了巴格达，来到了国王的大房间。
Tāmen hé Ālādīng huí dào le Bāgédá, lái dào le guówáng de dà fángjiān.
They took Aladdin back to Baghdad, into the sultan's great hall.

Look out of the window! Where's your palace? Where's my daughter?
- Aladdin 宫殿……不在了？公主呢？
Gōngdiàn… bú zài le? Gōngzhǔ ne?
The palace... is gone? Where's the princess?
- the Sultan 你是魔法师！你骗了我！我要你死！
Nǐ shì mófǎshī! Nǐ piàn le wǒ! Wǒ yào nǐ sǐ!
You're a magician! You tricked me! I want you dead!
- the Grand Vizier 国王，您听！外边的人非常多。
Guówáng, nín tīng! Wàibian de rén fēicháng duō.
Your Majesty, listen! There's a huge crowd outside.
- the Grand Vizier 他们都爱阿拉丁。他们不要他死。
Tāmen dōu ài Ālādīng. Tāmen bú yào tā sǐ.
They all love Aladdin. They don't want him to die.
- the Sultan 好吧……阿拉丁，你现在不会死。
Hǎo ba… Ālādīng, nǐ xiànzài bú huì sǐ.
Very well... Aladdin, you won't die for now.
- the Sultan 我要我的女儿！她在哪儿？
Wǒ yào wǒ de nǚ'ér! Tā zài nǎr?
I want my daughter! Where is she?
- Aladdin 那边什么都没有了……我也不知道。
Nàbiān shénme dōu méiyǒu le… wǒ yě bù zhīdào.
There's nothing over there now... I don't know either.
- Aladdin 我的灯也在宫殿里……
Wǒ de dēng yě zài gōngdiàn li…
My lamp was in the palace too...
- Aladdin 国王，请给我四十天。
Guówáng, qǐng gěi wǒ sìshí tiān.
Your Majesty, please give me forty days.
- Aladdin 四十天里，我去找公主。找不到，我回来，我死。
Sìshí tiān li, wǒ qù zhǎo gōngzhǔ. Zhǎo bu dào, wǒ huílái, wǒ sǐ.
In these forty days, I'll look for the princess. If I can't find her, I'll come back and die.
- the Grand Vizier 四十天？他能找到吗？
Sìshí tiān? Tā néng zhǎodào ma?
Forty days? Can he really find her?
- the Sultan 好！四十天！你找不到她，你不要回来……不，你要回来！
Hǎo! Sìshí tiān! Nǐ zhǎo bu dào tā, nǐ búyào huílái… bù, nǐ yào huílái!
Fine! Forty days! If you can't find her, don't come back... no, you must come back!
- Narrator 第一天，阿拉丁在城里问了很多人。
Dì yī tiān, Ālādīng zài chéng li wèn le hěn duō rén.
On the first day, Aladdin asked many people in the city.
- Aladdin 请问，您看见一个会飞的宫殿了吗？
Qǐngwèn, nín kànjiàn yí gè huì fēi de gōngdiàn le ma?
Excuse me, did you see a flying palace?
- Aladdin 他觉得我有病！
Tā juéde wǒ yǒu bìng!
He thinks I'm crazy!
- Narrator 第二天，第三天，他在城外问了很多人。
Dì èr tiān, dì sān tiān, tā zài chéng wài wèn le hěn duō rén.
On the second day and the third, he asked many people outside the city.
- Aladdin 没有人看见。没有人知道。
Méiyǒu rén kànjiàn. Méiyǒu rén zhīdào.
No one has seen it. No one knows.
- Aladdin 公主，你在哪儿？你还好吗？
Gōngzhǔ, nǐ zài nǎr? Nǐ hái hǎo ma?
Princess, where are you? Are you all right?
- Aladdin 第三天晚上了。还有三十七天……
Dì sān tiān wǎnshang le. Hái yǒu sānshíqī tiān…
It's the third evening. Thirty-seven days left...
- Aladdin 阿拉丁，不要怕……你没有灯了，你还有什么？
Ālādīng, búyào pà… nǐ méiyǒu dēng le, nǐ hái yǒu shénme?
Aladdin, don't be afraid... You have no lamp now. What do you have left?
- Aladdin 这儿有水。我洗一下，想对天说说话。
Zhèr yǒu shuǐ. Wǒ xǐ yíxià, xiǎng duì tiān shuōshuo huà.
There's water here. I'll wash, and then talk to heaven a little.
- Aladdin 这块石头上都是水……
Zhè kuài shítou shàng dōu shì shuǐ…
This stone is all wet...
- Aladdin 不好！我要掉下去了！
Bù hǎo! Wǒ yào diào xiàqù le!
Oh no! I'm going to fall in!
