SayMei courses are structured HSK 1-6 learning paths built from live conversation lessons with AI teacher Mei Lin. You pick a level and get a day-by-day path grouped into themed weeks. Each lesson runs about 10 minutes, targets one grammar pattern, and is practiced by speaking out loud rather than tapping answers.
HSK 1 (about 150 words) starts from zero with greetings, numbers and survival phrases. HSK 2 (300 words) covers daily routines, shopping and simple conversations. HSK 3 (600 words) handles work, study and travel topics. HSK 4 (1,200 words) is about expressing opinions and complex situations. HSK 5 (2,500 words) moves into newspapers, films and formal debate. HSK 6 (5,000+ words) covers idioms and sophisticated Chinese on any topic. Switch level whenever you like: HSK 1, HSK 2, HSK 3, HSK 4, HSK 5, HSK 6.
Grammar lessons drill one pattern with drills and roleplay, vocabulary lessons build themed word sets with spaced repetition, roleplays put Mei Lin in character for real-world scenarios, and debates push fluency by making you argue a position out loud while Mei Lin takes the opposing side. Browse them all in the lesson library.
Brand new to Chinese? Start with HSK 1. If you have studied before, try HSK 2 or 3. You can switch levels at any time — there is no commitment and no placement test.
About 10 minutes: one lesson, one grammar pattern, lots of speaking. The path is grouped into weeks and days so one short lesson a day is the intended rhythm.
Browsing the course path and its lesson content is free, as are dialogues and Chinese flashcards, and your first live lesson is free — with one more free course lesson once you create a profile. Speaking a course lesson with Mei Lin after that draws on metered live minutes — see pricing.
