The cave was dark. Aladdin had been down there for two days.
- Aladdin 没有吃的，也没有喝的……那个“叔叔”骗了我。
Méiyǒu chī de, yě méiyǒu hē de… Nàge “shūshu” piàn le wǒ.
Nothing to eat, nothing to drink... That "uncle" tricked me.
- Aladdin 他要的是灯，不是我。妈妈也不知道我在这儿。
Tā yào de shì dēng, bú shì wǒ. Māma yě bù zhīdào wǒ zài zhèr.
It was the lamp he wanted, not me. And Mom doesn't know I'm here.

On the third day, Aladdin spoke to heaven.
- Aladdin 我不想死在这里。我想回家，想再看看妈妈。
Wǒ bù xiǎng sǐ zài zhèlǐ. Wǒ xiǎng huí jiā, xiǎng zài kànkan māma.
I don't want to die here. I want to go home and see Mom again.

Tā de shǒu cā dào le jièzhi.
His hand rubbed against the ring.

Zhǔrén, nǐ yào shénme?
Master, what do you want?
- Aladdin 谁在说话？你是谁？你好大！
Shéi zài shuōhuà? Nǐ shì shéi? Nǐ hǎo dà!
Who's talking? Who are you? You're huge!
- the Genie of the Ring 我是戒指神。谁有这个戒指，谁是我的主人。
Wǒ shì Jièzhi Shén. Shéi yǒu zhège jièzhi, shéi shì wǒ de zhǔrén.
I am the genie of the ring. Whoever has this ring is my master.
- Aladdin 这个戒指……他没有骗我！
Zhège jièzhi… tā méiyǒu piàn wǒ!
This ring... he didn't lie to me about it!
- Aladdin 戒指神，我要上去！我要回家！
Jièzhi Shén, wǒ yào shàngqù! Wǒ yào huí jiā!
Genie of the ring, I want to go up! I want to go home!
- Aladdin 我在山上了！是白天！我能回家了！
Wǒ zài shān shàng le! Shì báitiān! Wǒ néng huí jiā le!
I'm on the mountain! It's daytime! I can go home!
- Aladdin's mother 阿拉丁！孩子，你回来了！三天了，你去哪儿了？
Ālādīng! Háizi, nǐ huílái le! Sān tiān le, nǐ qù nǎr le?
Aladdin! My boy, you're back! Three days! Where have you been?
- Aladdin 妈妈……我好想吃东西……
Māma… wǒ hǎo xiǎng chī dōngxi…
Mom... I really need something to eat...
- Aladdin's mother 孩子！你怎么倒了？来，喝一口水。
Háizi! Nǐ zěnme dǎo le? Lái, hē yì kǒu shuǐ.
My boy! You've collapsed! Here, have a sip of water.
- Aladdin's mother 家里只有一点儿面包。你吃吧。
Jiā li zhǐ yǒu yìdiǎnr miànbāo. Nǐ chī ba.
There's only a little bread in the house. Eat it.
- Aladdin 妈妈，他不是我的叔叔。他骗了我们！
Māma, tā bú shì wǒ de shūshu. Tā piàn le wǒmen!
Mom, he isn't my uncle. He tricked us!
- Aladdin's mother 我说了，你爸爸没有哥哥，也没有弟弟！
Wǒ shuō le, nǐ bàba méiyǒu gēge, yě méiyǒu dìdi!
I told you! Your father had no brothers, older or younger!
- Aladdin 你也说了：“你有一个好叔叔。”
Nǐ yě shuō le: “Nǐ yǒu yí gè hǎo shūshu.”
You also said, "You have a good uncle."
- Aladdin's mother 不要说了！吃你的面包吧。
Búyào shuō le! Chī nǐ de miànbāo ba.
That's enough! Eat your bread.
- Aladdin 他要灯，我不给。他说了两个字，石头不开了。
Tā yào dēng, wǒ bù gěi. Tā shuō le liǎng gè zì, shítou bù kāi le.
He wanted the lamp, and I wouldn't give it. He said two words, and the stone wouldn't open.
- Aladdin's mother 他要你死在山洞里？我的孩子……
Tā yào nǐ sǐ zài shāndòng li? Wǒ de háizi…
He wanted you to die in that cave? My child...
- Narrator 第二天早上，家里什么吃的都没有了。
Dì èr tiān zǎoshang, jiā li shénme chī de dōu méiyǒu le.
The next morning, there was nothing at all to eat in the house.
- Aladdin's mother 孩子，没有面包了，也没有钱了。
Háizi, méiyǒu miànbāo le, yě méiyǒu qián le.
My boy, there's no more bread, and no money either.
- Aladdin 我们有这个旧灯！卖了它，买吃的！
Wǒmen yǒu zhège jiù dēng! Mài le tā, mǎi chī de!
We have this old lamp! We'll sell it and buy food!
- Aladdin's mother 这么旧的灯，谁要？我来擦一擦。
Zhème jiù de dēng, shéi yào? Wǒ lái cā yi cā.
A lamp this old? Who'd want it? Let me give it a rub.
- Aladdin 对！擦好了，我们多要一点儿钱！
Duì! Cā hǎo le, wǒmen duō yào yìdiǎnr qián!
Right! Once it's clean, we'll ask more money for it!

Zhǔrén, nǐ yào shénme?
Master, what do you want?
- Aladdin's mother 天哪！灯里出来了一个很大很大的人！
Tiān na! Dēng li chūlái le yí gè hěn dà hěn dà de rén!
Heavens! A giant came out of the lamp!
- Aladdin 妈妈！你怎么倒了？
Māma! Nǐ zěnme dǎo le?
Mom! What's wrong? You've collapsed!
