At dawn the maid looks down from the princess's window and cries out: someone is asleep on the ground below, and the princess runs to see who.

Dawn came. Far away in the west, the maid opened the princess's window.
- the Princess's Maid 公主，早上好！今天天气很好。
Gōngzhǔ, zǎoshang hǎo! Jīntiān tiānqì hěn hǎo.
Good morning, Princess! It's a lovely day.
- the Princess 天气好，我也不高兴。我想回巴格达，我想阿拉丁。
Tiānqì hǎo, wǒ yě bù gāoxìng. Wǒ xiǎng huí Bāgédá, wǒ xiǎng Ālādīng.
Lovely or not, I'm not happy. I want to go back to Baghdad. I miss Aladdin.

Aladdin? Is it really you?
- Aladdin 公主！我找到你了！
Gōngzhǔ! Wǒ zhǎodào nǐ le!
Princess! I found you!
- the Princess 不要说话！那边有一个小门，你去那儿。
Búyào shuōhuà! Nàbiān yǒu yí gè xiǎo mén, nǐ qù nàr.
Don't say a word! There's a little door over there. Go to it.
- the Princess 你下去，给他开门。现在去！
Nǐ xiàqù, gěi tā kāi mén. Xiànzài qù!
Go down and open the door for him. Go now!
- the Princess's Maid 好的，公主！
Hǎo de, gōngzhǔ!
Yes, Princess!
- Narrator 小门开了。公主抱了阿拉丁，两个人都哭了。
Xiǎo mén kāi le. Gōngzhǔ bào le Ālādīng, liǎng gè rén dōu kū le.
The little door opened. The princess threw her arms around Aladdin, and they both wept.
- the Princess 阿拉丁，我天天想你！这里很远，你怎么来的？
Ālādīng, wǒ tiāntiān xiǎng nǐ! Zhèlǐ hěn yuǎn, nǐ zěnme lái de?
Aladdin, I missed you every day! It's so far. How did you get here?
- Aladdin 我和戒指神飞来的。
Wǒ hé Jièzhi Shén fēi lái de.
I flew here with the genie of the ring.
- the Princess 飞来的？你会飞吗？
Fēi lái de? Nǐ huì fēi ma?
Flew? You can fly?
- Aladdin 我不会。戒指神会。
Wǒ bú huì. Jièzhi Shén huì.
I can't. The genie of the ring can.
- Aladdin 公主，大房间里的那个旧灯，现在在哪儿？
Gōngzhǔ, dà fángjiān li de nàge jiù dēng, xiànzài zài nǎr?
Princess, that old lamp in the great hall: where is it now?
- the Princess 对不起……我们给了一个卖灯的人。
Duìbuqǐ… wǒmen gěi le yí gè mài dēng de rén.
I'm sorry... We gave it to a lamp-seller.
- the Princess 他说：“谁有旧灯？我给新灯！”我觉得很好玩儿。
Tā shuō: “Shéi yǒu jiù dēng? Wǒ gěi xīn dēng!” Wǒ juéde hěn hǎowánr.
He called, “Who has old lamps? I'll give new ones!” I thought it was funny.
- Aladdin 那个卖灯的人呢？他是谁？
Nàge mài dēng de rén ne? Tā shì shéi?
And the lamp-seller? Who is he?
- the Princess 他也在这里。他说他是魔法师。
Tā yě zài zhèlǐ. Tā shuō tā shì mófǎshī.
He's here too. He says he's a magician.
- Aladdin 魔法师？是他！很多年前，他说他是我的叔叔。他骗了我！
Mófǎshī? Shì tā! Hěn duō nián qián, tā shuō tā shì wǒ de shūshu. Tā piàn le wǒ!
A magician? It's him! Years ago he said he was my uncle. He tricked me!
- the Princess 他也骗了我。旧灯在他的衣服里，白天晚上都在。
Tā yě piàn le wǒ. Jiù dēng zài tā de yīfu li, báitiān wǎnshang dōu zài.
He tricked me too. The old lamp is in his clothes, day and night.
- the Princess 他天天晚上来，问我：“公主，您想和我结婚吗？”
Tā tiāntiān wǎnshang lái, wèn wǒ: “Gōngzhǔ, nín xiǎng hé wǒ jiéhūn ma?”
He comes every evening and asks me, “Princess, will you marry me?”
- Aladdin 你对他说什么？
Nǐ duì tā shuō shénme?
What do you say to him?
- the Princess 我说：“不要！你回去！”他还说，你死了，国王要你死。
Wǒ shuō: “Búyào! Nǐ huíqù!” Tā hái shuō, nǐ sǐ le, guówáng yào nǐ sǐ.
I say, “No! Go away!” He also says you're dead, that the sultan wanted you dead.
- Aladdin 我死了吗？我看我还很好。
Wǒ sǐ le ma? Wǒ kàn wǒ hái hěn hǎo.
Am I dead? I look fine to me.
- the Princess 你没有死，太好了。我们怎么回家呢？
Nǐ méiyǒu sǐ, tài hǎo le. Wǒmen zěnme huí jiā ne?
You're not dead, thank goodness. But how do we get home?
- Aladdin 公主，不要哭了。我知道怎么做了。
Gōngzhǔ, búyào kū le. Wǒ zhīdào zěnme zuò le.
Don't cry, Princess. I know what to do.
- Aladdin 今天晚上，你要对魔法师好一点儿。
Jīntiān wǎnshang, nǐ yào duì mófǎshī hǎo yìdiǎnr.
Tonight, you must be kind to the magician.
