王子的话
A trumpet, a crowd at every door and a man from the palace with the prince's word. Three days later, the two sisters still talk of nothing else.

That morning, there were people at every door. The sisters and Cinderella were outside too.
- The Gentleman 大家听好了！这是王子的话！
Dàjiā tīng hǎo le! Zhè shì wángzǐ de huà!
Hear this, everyone! This is the prince's word!
- The Gentleman 这只玻璃鞋，是舞会上的公主的。王子在找她。
Zhè zhī bōli xié, shì wǔhuì shang de gōngzhǔ de. Wángzǐ zài zhǎo tā.
This glass slipper belongs to the princess from the ball. The prince is looking for her.

- Big Sister 妹妹，我的脚很小。王子会和我结婚的！
Mèimei, wǒ de jiǎo hěn xiǎo. Wángzǐ huì hé wǒ jiéhūn de!
Sister, my feet are small. The prince is going to marry me!
- Cinderella 王子……在找我？
Wángzǐ… zài zhǎo wǒ?
The prince... is looking for me?
- Narrator 三天后的晚上，二姐姐跑回了家。
Sān tiān hòu de wǎnshang, Èr jiějie pǎo huí le jiā.
Three days later, in the evening, Second Sister came running home.
- Second Sister 姐姐！外边的人说，公主们试了那只鞋！
Jiějie! Wàibian de rén shuō, gōngzhǔmen shì le nà zhī xié!
Sister! People out there say the princesses have tried on the slipper!
- Big Sister 她们能穿吗？
Tāmen néng chuān ma?

- Second Sister 不能！鞋太小了。王宫里的女士们也不能穿！
Bù néng! Xié tài xiǎo le. Wánggōng li de nǚshìmen yě bù néng chuān!
No! The slipper's too small. The ladies of the court couldn't get it on either!
- Big Sister 还有谁试了？
Hái yǒu shéi shì le?
Who else has tried?
- Second Sister 大家都试了，谁也不能穿！明天，王宫的先生会来我们家！
Dàjiā dōu shì le, shéi yě bù néng chuān! Míngtiān, wánggōng de xiānsheng huì lái wǒmen jiā!
Everyone has, and nobody can get it on! Tomorrow the gentleman from the palace will come to our house!
- Big Sister 太好了！妹妹，你看，这么小的脚！
Tài hǎo le! Mèimei, nǐ kàn, zhème xiǎo de jiǎo!
Wonderful! Sister, look, what a tiny foot!
- Second Sister 姐姐，你的脚不小。我的脚小！
Jiějie, nǐ de jiǎo bù xiǎo. Wǒ de jiǎo xiǎo!
Sister, your foot isn't small. Mine is!
- Big Sister 你的脚？太大了！
Nǐ de jiǎo? Tài dà le!
Your foot? It's far too big!
- Second Sister 你的也太大了！
Nǐ de yě tài dà le!
Yours is far too big as well!
- Cinderella 三天了，她们说来说去，都是鞋和脚。
Sān tiān le, tāmen shuō lái shuō qù, dōu shì xié hé jiǎo.
Three days now, and all they talk about is slippers and feet.
- Cinderella 她们不知道……还有一只，在我这儿。
Tāmen bù zhīdào… hái yǒu yì zhī, zài wǒ zhèr.
They don't know... the other one is right here with me.
- Narrator 第二天早上，姐姐们早早起床，坐在门边。
Dì èr tiān zǎoshang, jiějiemen zǎozǎo qǐchuáng, zuò zài mén biān.
The next morning, the sisters got up early and sat by the door.
- Second Sister 姐姐，我要第一个试那只鞋！
Jiějie, wǒ yào dì yī gè shì nà zhī xié!
Sister, I'm going to be the first to try on that slipper!
- Big Sister 你？我是大姐姐，我第一个！
Nǐ? Wǒ shì Dà jiějie, wǒ dì yī gè!
You? I'm Big Sister. I go first!
- The Gentleman 请开门！我是王宫来的！
Qǐng kāi mén! Wǒ shì wánggōng lái de!
Open the door, please! I come from the palace!
- Second Sister 是王宫的先生！姐姐，快开门！
Shì wánggōng de xiānsheng! Jiějie, kuài kāi mén!
It's the gentleman from the palace! Sister, quick, open the door!
- Big Sister 灰丫头，你坐在那儿，不要说话！
Huī yātou, nǐ zuò zài nàr, bú yào shuōhuà!
Cinderwench, you sit there and don't say a word!
- Cinderella 我要不要说……那是我的鞋？
Wǒ yào bu yào shuō… nà shì wǒ de xié?
Should I say it... that it's my slipper?
- The Gentleman 早上好。王子要我问：这只玻璃鞋，是谁的？
Zǎoshang hǎo. Wángzǐ yào wǒ wèn: zhè zhī bōli xié, shì shéi de?
