Still the same room. The gentleman stood to one side, and the two sisters knelt at Cinderella's feet.
- Cinderella 大姐姐！二姐姐！你们这是做什么？
Dà jiějie! Èr jiějie! Nǐmen zhè shì zuò shénme?
Big Sister! Second Sister! What are you doing?
- Big Sister 灰丫头……不对，妹妹！对不起！
Huī yātou… bú duì, mèimei! Duìbuqǐ!
Cinderwench... no, not that! Sister! I'm sorry!

- Second Sister 家里的事，都是你一个人做的。

All the housework, you did it all by yourself.
- Big Sister 我们住大房间。你的房间在上边，那么小，那么冷！
Wǒmen zhù dà fángjiān. Nǐ de fángjiān zài shàngbian, nàme xiǎo, nàme lěng!
We lived in big rooms. Your room was up top, so small and so cold!
- Second Sister 冷的时候，你坐在火边。我们还笑你。
Lěng de shíhou, nǐ zuò zài huǒ biān. Wǒmen hái xiào nǐ.
When you were cold, you sat by the fire. And we laughed at you.
- Big Sister 我们说：灰丫头也想去舞会？大家会笑的！
Wǒmen shuō: Huī yātou yě xiǎng qù wǔhuì? Dàjiā huì xiào de!
We said: the Cinderwench wants to go to the ball too? Everyone would laugh!
- Second Sister 我们对你太不好了。你……还会和我们说话吗？
Wǒmen duì nǐ tài bù hǎo le. Nǐ… hái huì hé wǒmen shuōhuà ma?
We were so unkind to you. Will you... still talk to us?
- Cinderella 大姐姐，二姐姐，不要说了。我原谅你们。
Dà jiějie, Èr jiějie, bú yào shuō le. Wǒ yuánliàng nǐmen.
Big Sister, Second Sister, don't say any more. I forgive you.
- Second Sister 真的吗，灰姑娘？
Zhēn de ma, Huī gūniang?
Really, Cinderella?
- Cinderella 你们看，我在笑呢。快起来吧。
Nǐmen kàn, wǒ zài xiào ne. Kuài qǐlai ba.
Look, I'm smiling. Come on, get up.
- Narrator 两个姐姐起来了。灰姑娘抱住了她们。
Liǎng gè jiějie qǐlai le. Huī gūniang bàozhù le tāmen.
The two sisters got up, and Cinderella held them close.
- Cinderella 我们是一家人。你们要天天爱我，好吗？
Wǒmen shì yìjiārén. Nǐmen yào tiāntiān ài wǒ, hǎo ma?
We're one family. Will you love me every day?
- Second Sister 好！我们会爱你的！
Hǎo! Wǒmen huì ài nǐ de!
Yes! We'll love you!
- Big Sister 妹妹，我再也不叫你灰丫头了。
Mèimei, wǒ zài yě bú jiào nǐ Huī yātou le.
Sister, I'll never call you Cinderwench again.
- Cinderella 谢谢你，大姐姐。你叫我妹妹，真好听。
Xièxie nǐ, Dà jiějie. Nǐ jiào wǒ mèimei, zhēn hǎotīng.
Thank you, Big Sister. When you call me sister, it sounds so nice.
- Big Sister 那天你要我的衣服，我没有给你。现在，我的都给你！
Nà tiān nǐ yào wǒ de yīfu, wǒ méiyǒu gěi nǐ. Xiànzài, wǒ de dōu gěi nǐ!
That night you asked for my dress, and I wouldn't give it to you. Now all of mine are yours!
- Second Sister 姐姐，你看看她的衣服。你的都没有她的漂亮！
Jiějie, nǐ kànkan tā de yīfu. Nǐ de dōu méiyǒu tā de piàoliang!
Sister, look at her dress. None of yours is as pretty as hers!
- Narrator 三个人都笑了。
Sān gè rén dōu xiào le.
All three of them laughed.
- Second Sister 天哪！灰姑娘，王子要和你结婚了！
Tiān na! Huī gūniang, wángzǐ yào hé nǐ jiéhūn le!
Oh my! Cinderella, the prince is going to marry you!
- Cinderella 王子还不知道我的名字呢。他只认识我的鞋。
Wángzǐ hái bù zhīdào wǒ de míngzi ne. Tā zhǐ rènshi wǒ de xié.
The prince still doesn't know my name. All he knows is my slipper.
- The Gentleman 您的名字，请您对王子说。
Nín de míngzi, qǐng nín duì wángzǐ shuō.
Please tell the prince your name.
- Cinderella 现在吗？
Xiànzài ma?
Now?
- The Gentleman 现在。王子在等您。
Xiànzài. Wángzǐ zài děng nín.
Now. The prince is waiting for you.
