- Beauty 野兽？你怎么了？你看看我！
Yěshòu? Nǐ zěnme le? Nǐ kànkan wǒ!
Beast? What's wrong? Look at me!
- Narrator 野兽在草上，没有说话，也没有看她。
Yěshòu zài cǎo shang, méiyǒu shuōhuà, yě méiyǒu kàn tā.
The Beast lay on the grass. He did not speak, and he did not look at her.
- Beauty 不……他死了吗？是我太晚了吗？
Bù… tā sǐ le ma? Shì wǒ tài wǎn le ma?

- Beauty 你几天没有吃饭了？我说了，你要好好吃饭！

- The Beast 很多天了。我不想吃，我想死。
Hěn duō tiān le. Wǒ bù xiǎng chī, wǒ xiǎng sǐ.
Many days. I didn't want to eat. I wanted to die.
