Then, under big trees by the water, Beauty saw a young man.
- The Young Man 美儿，你来了。
Měi'ér, nǐ lái le.
Beauty, you've come.
- Beauty 他是谁？他真好看，声音也很好听……
Tā shì shéi? Tā zhēn hǎokàn, shēngyīn yě hěn hǎotīng…
Who is he? He's so handsome, and his voice is so lovely...
- The Young Man 有了你，我会很高兴的。

Father, I had a dream. A lady said good people will be rewarded.

That's a good dream. My good child, I'll miss you.
- Beauty 不要哭，爸爸。你的马知道怎么回家。
Bú yào kū, bàba. Nǐ de mǎ zhīdào zěnme huí jiā.
Don't cry, Father. Your horse knows the way home.
- Narrator 爸爸哭着回家了。大宫殿里，只有美儿一个人。
Bàba kūzhe huí jiā le. Dà gōngdiàn li, zhǐyǒu Měi'ér yí gè rén.
Father cried as he went home. In the great palace, Beauty was all alone.
- Beauty 他说“救我”。他是谁？我怎么救他？
