A dream takes Beauty back to the palace garden on her tenth night away. Someone is crying by the water, and morning may come too late.

I know this place! It's the Beast's garden!
- Beauty 那是什么声音？有人在哭吗？
Nà shì shénme shēngyīn? Yǒu rén zài kū ma?

Beast! Why are you lying on the grass? What's wrong?
- The Beast 美儿……是你吗？
Měi'ér… shì nǐ ma?
Beauty... is that you?
- The Beast 你答应我的，一个星期。我天天等你……
Nǐ dāying wǒ de, yí gè xīngqī. Wǒ tiāntiān děng nǐ…
You promised me. One week. Every day I waited for you...
- The Beast 你没有回来。你忘了你的野兽。
Nǐ méiyǒu huílái. Nǐ wàng le nǐ de Yěshòu.
You didn't come back. You forgot your Beast.
- Beauty 不是的！我天天想你！野兽，你不要死！
Bú shì de! Wǒ tiāntiān xiǎng nǐ! Yěshòu, nǐ bú yào sǐ!
That's not true! I thought of you every day! Beast, don't die!
- Narrator 这时候，那个女人也在水边。
Zhè shíhou, nàge nǚrén yě zài shuǐ biān.
Just then, the lady was there by the water too.
- The Good Fairy 美儿，还好你来了。还不晚。
Měi'ér, hái hǎo nǐ lái le. Hái bù wǎn.
Beauty, thank goodness you've come. It isn't too late yet.
- Beauty 是您！野兽怎么了？他生病了吗？
Shì nín! Yěshòu zěnme le? Tā shēngbìng le ma?
It's you! What's wrong with the Beast? Is he ill?
- The Good Fairy 他太想你了。再晚一天，他会死的。
Tā tài xiǎng nǐ le. Zài wǎn yì tiān, tā huì sǐ de.
He misses you too much. One more day, and he would be dead.
- The Good Fairy 你答应了他。美儿，要说到做到。
Nǐ dāying le tā. Měi'ér, yào shuō dào zuò dào.
You made him a promise. Beauty, you must keep your word.
- Beauty 我现在回去！我答应您！
Wǒ xiànzài huíqù! Wǒ dāying nín!
I'll go back now! I promise you!
- Beauty 是梦！我在爸爸家里……野兽要死了！
Shì mèng! Wǒ zài bàba jiā li… Yěshòu yào sǐ le!
A dream! I'm at Father's house... The Beast is dying!
- Beauty 我答应他一个星期。现在呢？十天了！
Wǒ dāying tā yí gè xīngqī. Xiànzài ne? Shí tiān le!
I promised him one week. And now? It's been ten days!
- Beauty 野兽很丑，也不聪明。是他不好吗？
Yěshòu hěn chǒu, yě bù cōngming. Shì tā bù hǎo ma?
The Beast is ugly, and he isn't clever. Is that his fault?
- Beauty 不是！他的心很好，对我也很好。我还要什么？
Bú shì! Tā de xīn hěn hǎo, duì wǒ yě hěn hǎo. Wǒ hái yào shénme?
No! His heart is good, and he's good to me. What more do I want?

Are they happy? As the Beast's wife, I would be very happy!
- Beauty 我不能再等了。我要回去！
Wǒ bù néng zài děng le. Wǒ yào huíqù!
I can't wait any longer. I'm going back!
- Narrator 美儿起床了。她把戒指放在了桌子上。
Měi'ér qǐchuáng le. Tā bǎ jièzhi fàng zài le zhuōzi shang.
Beauty got up and put the ring on the table.
- Beauty 戒指，今天晚上你要好好工作！
Jièzhi, jīntiān wǎnshang nǐ yào hǎohǎo gōngzuò!
Ring, you have to work hard tonight!
- Beauty 明天早上，我要在宫殿里！
Míngtiān zǎoshang, wǒ yào zài gōngdiàn li!
Tomorrow morning, I have to be in the palace!

Měi'ér shuì xià le.
Beauty lay down.
- Beauty 野兽，你要等我。我不会太晚吧？
