Not a sound in the palace. The Beast was waiting for Beauty to speak.
- Beauty 他要我做他的妻子……我不想。
Tā yào wǒ zuò tā de qīzi… wǒ bù xiǎng.
He wants me to be his wife... I don't want to.
- Beauty 我说“不”，他会很生气吗？
Wǒ shuō “bù”, tā huì hěn shēngqì ma?
If I say “no,” will he be very angry?

He's going... and at the door, he's still looking at me.
- Beauty 对不起，野兽。我不能做你的妻子。
Duìbuqǐ, Yěshòu. Wǒ bù néng zuò nǐ de qīzi.
I'm sorry, Beast. I can't be your wife.
- Beauty 他那么好，怎么会这么丑呢？
Tā nàme hǎo, zěnme huì zhème chǒu ne?
He's so good. How can he be so ugly?

Beauty, why are you unkind to me?
- Beauty 我对你不好？我不知道你在哪儿，我怎么找你？
Wǒ duì nǐ bù hǎo? Wǒ bù zhīdào nǐ zài nǎr, wǒ zěnme zhǎo nǐ?
Unkind to you? I don't know where you are. How can I find you?
- The Young Man 我在等你，美儿。我还要等多少天呢？
Wǒ zài děng nǐ, Měi'ér. Wǒ hái yào děng duōshao tiān ne?
I'm waiting for you, Beauty. How many more days must I wait?
- Beauty 不要去！你是谁？
Bú yào qù! Nǐ shì shéi?

- Narrator 第二天早上醒来，美儿还在想那个梦。

Waking the next morning, Beauty was still thinking about the dream.
