The Locked Door
锁上的门
The Count wants Jonathan to stay a month and write three letters home. Then Jonathan sees something climb down the castle wall, and finds a very strange bed.

Count, I have all the papers for the house ready. I'd like to go back to London first thing tomorrow.
- Count Dracula 明天？不，不，我的朋友。你应该在这里住一个月。我们还有很多事要谈。
Míngtiān? Bù, bù, wǒ de péngyou. Nǐ yīnggāi zài zhèlǐ zhù yí gè yuè. Wǒmen háiyǒu hěn duō shì yào tán.
Tomorrow? No, no, my friend. You should stay here for a month. We still have so much to talk about.
- Jonathan Harker 一个月？可是公司在等我，我的未婚妻也在等我。
Yí gè yuè? Kěshì gōngsī zài děng wǒ, wǒ de wèihūnqī yě zài děng wǒ.
A month? But my firm is waiting for me, and so is my fiancée.

Nà jiù xiě xìn gàosu tāmen ba. Xiě sān fēng xìn: shuō nǐ hěn hǎo, hěn kuài jiù huíjiā.
Then write and tell them. Write three letters: say that you are well and will be home soon.
- Count Dracula 日期我来告诉你。信要写得晚一点，让他们别担心。
Rìqī wǒ lái gàosu nǐ. Xìn yào xiě de wǎn yìdiǎn, ràng tāmen bié dānxīn.
I will tell you the dates. The letters should be dated a little later, so that they won't worry.
- Jonathan Harker 三封信？伯爵，您是想让我写一本书吗？
Sān fēng xìn? Bójué, nín shì xiǎng ràng wǒ xiě yì běn shū ma?
Three letters? Count, are you trying to make me write a whole book?
- Count Dracula 只要三封。你写得快，我们明天就可以看地图了。
Zhǐyào sān fēng. Nǐ xiě de kuài, wǒmen míngtiān jiù kěyǐ kàn dìtú le.
Only three. You write quickly, so tomorrow we can look at the maps.
- Jonathan Harker 亲爱的米娜，我很好……可是我一点也不好。这封信，我写得手都在抖。
Qīn'ài de Mǐnà, wǒ hěn hǎo… kěshì wǒ yìdiǎn yě bù hǎo. Zhè fēng xìn, wǒ xiě de shǒu dōu zài dǒu.
Dear Mina, I am well... but I am not well at all. My hand shakes as I write this letter.
- Jonathan Harker 伯爵，对不起，我还是想走。请您把门打开。
Bójué, duìbùqǐ, wǒ háishi xiǎng zǒu. Qǐng nín bǎ mén dǎkāi.
I'm sorry, Count, but I still want to leave. Please open the door.
- Count Dracula 你真的想走？好，请吧。门开了。
Nǐ zhēnde xiǎng zǒu? Hǎo, qǐng ba. Mén kāi le.
You really want to go? Very well, please. The door is open.
- Jonathan Harker 狼！门外全是狼！
Láng! Mén wài quán shì láng!
Wolves! The whole doorway is full of wolves!
- Count Dracula 山里的夜晚很危险，我的朋友。你还想走吗？
Shānlǐ de yè wǎn hěn wēixiǎn, wǒ de péngyou. Nǐ hái xiǎng zǒu ma?
The mountain nights are dangerous, my friend. Do you still want to go?
- Jonathan Harker 不……我明天再问您。今晚，我留下。
Bù… wǒ míngtiān zài wèn nín. Jīnwǎn, wǒ liúxià.
No... I'll ask you again tomorrow. Tonight, I'll stay.
- Count Dracula 这才是聪明的客人。来，我们去看看伦敦的地图，还有我要买的那座房子。
Zhè cái shì cōngming de kèrén. Lái, wǒmen qù kànkan Lúndūn de dìtú, hái yǒu wǒ yào mǎi de nà zuò fángzi.
That's a wise guest. Come, let's look at the map of London, and the house I want to buy.
- Jonathan Harker 门锁着，窗户又高又小。我睡不着……伯爵这么晚还在做什么？
Mén suǒ zhe, chuānghu yòu gāo yòu xiǎo. Wǒ shuì bù zhe… bójué zhème wǎn hái zài zuò shénme?
The door is locked and the window is high and small. I can't sleep... What is the Count doing so late?
- Jonathan Harker 咦？墙下面有人！是伯爵！他从窗户里出来了！
Yí? Qiáng xiàmiàn yǒurén! Shì bójué! Tā cóng chuānghu lǐ chūlái le!
Huh? Someone is on the wall below! It's the Count! He's come out of a window!
- Jonathan Harker 他头朝下，像一只大虫子，顺着墙往下爬！
Tā tóu cháo xià, xiàng yì zhī dà chóngzi, shùn zhe qiáng wǎng xià pá!
He's head down, like a huge insect, crawling down the wall!
- Jonathan Harker 人怎么能这样爬墙？这不可能……我一定是在做梦！
Rén zěnme néng zhèyàng pá qiáng? Zhè bù kěnéng… wǒ yídìng shì zài zuòmèng!
How can a man climb like that? It's impossible... I must be dreaming!
- Jonathan Harker 不是梦。镜子里没有他，狼也听他的话，现在他又爬墙……
Bú shì mèng. Jìngzi lǐ méiyǒu tā, láng yě tīng tā dehuà, xiànzài tā yòu pá qiáng…
It isn't a dream. He's not in the mirror, the wolves obey him, and now he climbs walls...
- Jonathan Harker 他要我写信，说我很好。米娜收到信，就会以为我很平安，就没有人会来救我！
Tā yào wǒ xiě xìn, shuō wǒ hěn hǎo. Mǐnà shōudào xìn, jiù huì yǐwéi wǒ hěn píng'ān, jiù méiyǒu rén huì lái jiù wǒ!
He wants me to write that I'm fine. When Mina gets the letter, she'll think I'm safe, and nobody will come to save me!
- Jonathan Harker 因为他不想让我回家！他在伦敦买了房子……他想去英国！
Yīnwèi tā bù xiǎng ràng wǒ huíjiā! Tā zài Lúndūn mǎi le fángzi… tā xiǎng qù Yīngguó!
Because he doesn't want me to go home! He's bought a house in London... He wants to go to England!
- Jonathan Harker 米娜就住在英国！我不能让他去，也不能再假装什么也不知道！
Mǐnà jiù zhù zài Yīngguó! Wǒ bù néng ràng tā qù, yě bù néng zài jiǎ zhuāng shénme yě bù zhīdào!
Mina lives in England! I can't let him go, and I can't pretend I know nothing any more!
- Jonathan Harker 白天我从来没有看见他吃饭，也没看见他睡觉。明天白天，我要去找找！
Báitiān wǒ cónglái méiyǒu kànjiàn tā chīfàn, yě méi kànjiàn tā shuìjiào. Míngtiān báitiān, wǒ yào qù zhǎozhao!
In the daytime I've never seen him eat, and never seen him sleep. Tomorrow, in the daylight, I'll go and look!
- Jonathan Harker 这是一座旧教堂。里面又冷又黑……有一扇门开着。
Zhè shì yí zuò jiù jiàotáng. Lǐmiàn yòu lěng yòu hēi… yǒu yí shàn mén kāi zhe.
This is an old chapel. It's cold and dark inside... and one door is open.
- Jonathan Harker 这么多长箱子？里面全是泥土！谁会把泥土放在箱子里？
Zhème duō cháng xiāngzi? Lǐmiàn quán shì ní tǔ! Shuí huì bǎ ní tǔ fàngzài xiāngzi lǐ?
So many long boxes? They're full of earth! Who puts earth in boxes?
- Jonathan Harker 最大的那个箱子里……有人！是伯爵！
Zuì dà de nà ge xiāngzi lǐ… yǒurén! Shì bójué!
In the biggest box... there's someone! It's the Count!
- Jonathan Harker 他的眼睛睁着，可是一动也不动。他没有呼吸，手也是冰冷的。
Tā de yǎnjing zhēng zhe, kěshì yí dòng yě bú dòng. Tā méiyǒu hūxī, shǒu yě shì bīng lěng de.
His eyes are open, but he doesn't move at all. He isn't breathing, and his hand is ice cold.
- Jonathan Harker 我要走了……可是我的脚动不了！
Wǒ yào zǒu le… kěshì wǒ de jiǎo dòng bù liǎo!
I have to go... but my feet won't move!
- Narrator 箱子里的老人没有动，可是他的嘴唇轻轻动了一下。
Xiāngzi lǐ de lǎorén méiyǒu dòng, kěshì tā de zuǐ chún qīng qīng dòng le yíxià.
The old man in the box did not move, but his lips moved ever so slightly.
- Count Dracula 这里不是你该来的地方，哈克先生。明天……明天你就可以回家了。
Zhèlǐ bú shì nǐ gāi lái de dìfang, Hākè xiānsheng. Míngtiān… míngtiān nǐ jiù kěyǐ huíjiā le.
This is no place for you, Mr. Harker. Tomorrow... tomorrow you will be able to go home.
- Jonathan Harker 他在骗我。我不能相信他，我一定要自己想办法。
Tā zài piàn wǒ. Wǒ bù néng xiāngxìn tā, wǒ yídìng yào zìjǐ xiǎng bànfǎ.
He's lying to me. I can't trust him. I have to find a way myself.
- Jonathan Harker 他能头朝下爬下这面墙，我也能试一试。只要我不往下看……
Tā néng tóu cháo xià pá xià zhè miàn qiáng, wǒ yě néng shì yí shì. Zhǐyào wǒ bù wǎng xià kàn…
If he can crawl down that wall head first, I can try too. As long as I don't look down...
- Jonathan Harker 米娜，等我。就算要从这么高的墙爬下去，我也要回到你身边！
Mǐnà, děng wǒ. Jiùsuàn yào cóng zhème gāo de qiáng pá xiàqù, wǒ yě yào huídào nǐ shēnbiān!
Mina, wait for me. Even if I have to climb down a wall this high, I will come back to you!
