- Narrator 很多年前的五月，英国律师乔纳森来到山里的一家小旅店。天快黑了，他还要坐马车去伯爵的城堡。
Hěn duōnián qián de wǔyuè, Yīngguó lǜshī Qiáonàsēn láidào shānlǐ de yì jiā xiǎo lǚdiàn. Tiān kuài hēi le, tā hái yào zuò mǎchē qù bójué de chéngbǎo.
Many years ago, in May, an English lawyer named Jonathan came to a small inn in the mountains. Night was coming, and he still had to ride to the Count's castle.
- Jonathan Harker 老板娘，我的马车到了吗？我今晚就要出发！
Lǎobǎnniáng, wǒ de mǎchē dào le ma? Wǒ jīnwǎn jiùyào chūfā!
Is my coach here, ma'am? I want to leave tonight!
- The Innkeeper's Wife 先生，今晚不能去！山里的坏东西，晚上都会出来。
Xiānsheng, jīnwǎn bù néng qù! Shānlǐ de huài dōngxi, wǎnshang dōu huì chūlái.
Sir, you can't go tonight! The evil things of the mountains all come out at night.
- Jonathan Harker 坏东西？哈哈！我是律师，我只怕文件上签错名字。伯爵在等我，我一定要到。
Huài dōngxi? Hāhā! Wǒ shì lǜshī, wǒ zhǐ pà wénjiàn shàng qiān cuò míngzi. Bójué zài děng wǒ, wǒ yídìng yào dào.
Evil things? Ha! I'm a lawyer. The only thing I fear is signing my name in the wrong place. The Count is waiting for me, so I must get there.
- The Innkeeper's Wife 那请您带上这个。这是十字架，请您戴在脖子上。我求您了！
Nà qǐng nín dài shàng zhè ge. Zhè shì shízìjià, qǐng nín dài zài bózi shàng. Wǒ qiú nín le!
Then please take this. It is a cross. Wear it round your neck. I beg you!
- Jonathan Harker 谢谢您。我做完工作，就回伦敦和米娜结婚。她还在家里等我，我不会有事的。
Xièxie nín. Wǒ zuòwán gōngzuò, jiù huí Lúndūn hé Mǐnà jiéhūn. Tā hái zài jiālǐ děng wǒ, wǒ bú huì yǒushì de.
Thank you. When my work is done, I'll go back to London and marry Mina. She's waiting for me at home, so nothing will happen to me.
- The Innkeeper's Wife 愿上帝保护您，年轻人。去吧，路上千万小心。
Yuàn shàngdì bǎohù nín, niánqīngrén. Qù ba, lùshàng qiānwàn xiǎoxīn.
God protect you, young man. Go, and be very careful on the road.
- The Coachman 上车吧，先生！天黑以前，我们要走到山口。
Shàngchē ba, xiānsheng! Tiān hēi yǐqián, wǒmen yào zǒu dào shānkǒu.
Climb in, sir! We must reach the pass before dark.
- Jonathan Harker 大家为什么都看着我？你们说的伯爵，到底是什么人？
Dàjiā wèishénme dōu kàn zhe wǒ? Nǐmen shuō de bójué, dàodǐ shì shénme rén?
Why is everyone staring at me? Who exactly is this Count of yours?
- The Coachman 他是这座山里最老的人。我们晚上从来不去他的城堡。
Tā shì zhè zuò shānlǐ zuì lǎo de rén. Wǒmen wǎnshang cónglái bú qù tā de chéngbǎo.
He is the oldest man in these mountains. None of us ever goes near his castle at night.
- Jonathan Harker 你听！那是什么声音？
Nǐ tīng! Nà shì shénme shēngyīn?
Listen! What was that?
- The Coachman 是狼！今晚它们叫得特别大声。坐好，我们要走快一点。
Shì láng! Jīnwǎn tāmen jiào de tèbié dàshēng. Zuò hǎo, wǒmen yào zǒu kuài yìdiǎn.
Wolves! They're louder than usual tonight. Hold on tight, we're going faster.
- Jonathan Harker 我不信这些……不过，戴着这个十字架，也没有坏处。

I don't believe any of this... but wearing this cross can't do any harm.

The pass! The Count's carriage will come for you. I can't go any farther.
- Jonathan Harker 你要把我一个人放在这里？周围都是狼啊！
Nǐ yào bǎ wǒ yí gè rén fàngzài zhèlǐ? Zhōuwéi dōu shì láng a!
You're leaving me here alone? There are wolves all around!
- Narrator 半夜里，黑色的马车把乔纳森送到一座又大又旧的城堡。大门慢慢开了，一位又高又瘦的老人拿着灯，站在门口。
Bànyè lǐ, hēisè de mǎchē bǎ Qiáonàsēn sòngdào yí zuò yòu dà yòu jiù de chéngbǎo. Dàmén mànmàn kāi le, yí wèi yòu gāo yòu shòu de lǎorén názhe dēng, zhànzài ménkǒu.
At midnight, a black carriage brought Jonathan to a great old castle. The door swung slowly open, and a tall, thin old man stood there holding a lamp.
- Count Dracula 欢迎来到我的家，哈克先生。请你自己走进来，也请带来一点快乐。
Huānyíng láidào wǒ de jiā, Hākè xiānsheng. Qǐng nǐ zìjǐ zǒujìn lái, yě qǐng dàilái yìdiǎn kuàilè.
Welcome to my home, Mr. Harker. Come in of your own free will, and bring a little happiness with you.
- Jonathan Harker 伯爵！您亲自来开门？您的手好凉啊。
Bójué! Nín qīnzì lái kāi mén? Nín de shǒu hǎo liáng a.
Count! You opened the door yourself? Your hand is so cold.
- Count Dracula 山里的夜晚很冷。你一路辛苦了，快来吃饭吧。
Shānlǐ de yè wǎn hěn lěng. Nǐ yílù xīnkǔ le, kuài lái chīfàn ba.
The nights in the mountains are cold. You've had a long journey. Come and eat.
- Jonathan Harker 太好了，我饿极了！伯爵，您的英语说得真好。
Tài hǎo le, wǒ è jí le! Bójué, nín de yīngyǔ shuōde zhēn hǎo.
Wonderful, I'm starving! Count, you speak English very well.
- Count Dracula 我只是从书里学的。请你帮帮我：我哪里说错了，就告诉我。
Wǒ zhǐshì cóng shū lǐ xué de. Qǐng nǐ bāngbang wǒ: wǒ nǎlǐ shuōcuò le, jiù gàosu wǒ.
I only learned it from books. Please help me: whenever I make a mistake, tell me.
- Jonathan Harker 没有错，伯爵。您说得比我的老师还好！
Méiyǒu cuò, bójué. Nín shuōde bǐ wǒ de lǎoshī hái hǎo!
There are no mistakes, Count. You speak better than my teacher!
- Count Dracula 你太客气了。请吃吧。我已经吃过了，我很少和别人一起吃饭。
Nǐ tài kèqi le. Qǐng chī ba. Wǒ yǐjīng chī guò le, wǒ hěn shǎo hé biérén yìqǐ chīfàn.
You are too kind. Please eat. I have already eaten. I seldom dine with other people.
- Jonathan Harker 这只鸡真好吃！这是我一路上吃到的最好的一顿饭。
Zhè zhī jī zhēn hǎochī! Zhè shì wǒ yílùshàng chī dào de zuìhǎo de yídùn fàn.
This chicken is delicious! It's the best meal I've had on the whole trip.
- Count Dracula 你能来，我真高兴。我一个人在这里住了很久，太久了。

I am so glad you came. I have lived here alone for a long time. Too long.
- Jonathan Harker 伯爵，我有点困了。明天我们可以谈买房子的事吗？
Bójué, wǒ yǒu diǎn kùn le. Míngtiān wǒmen kěyǐ tán mǎifángzi de shì ma?
Count, I'm a little sleepy. Can we talk about buying the house tomorrow?
- Count Dracula 当然可以。睡个好觉吧，哈克先生。明天早上，你可以随便看看城堡。
Dāngrán kěyǐ. Shuì gè hǎo jué ba, Hākè xiānsheng. Míngtiān zǎoshang, nǐ kěyǐ suíbiàn kànkan chéngbǎo.
Of course. Sleep well, Mr. Harker. Tomorrow morning you may look around the castle as you like.
- Jonathan Harker 早上好，山里的太阳！先刮胡子，再去找伯爵。
Zǎoshanghǎo, shānlǐ de tàiyáng! Xiān guāhúzi, zài qù zhǎo bójué.
Good morning, mountain sun! First a shave, then off to find the Count.
- Count Dracula 早上好，哈克先生。
Zǎoshanghǎo, Hākè xiānsheng.
Good morning, Mr. Harker.
- Jonathan Harker 啊！伯爵！您走路怎么一点声音也没有？
A! Bójué! Nín zǒulù zěnme yìdiǎn shēngyīn yě méiyǒu?
Ah! Count! How do you walk without making a sound?
- Jonathan Harker 他就站在我后面……可是镜子里没有他。只有我一个人。
Tā jiù zhànzài wǒ hòumiàn… kěshì jìngzi lǐ méiyǒu tā. Zhǐyǒu wǒ yí gè rén.
He's standing right behind me... but he isn't in the mirror. There's only me.
- Count Dracula 小心，哈克先生！在这里，镜子会害人的。
Xiǎoxīn, Hākè xiānsheng! Zài zhèlǐ, jìngzi huì hài rén de.
Be careful, Mr. Harker! Here, a mirror can hurt a man.
- Jonathan Harker 他看见我脖子上的十字架，马上往后退了。伯爵，你到底是什么人？

When he saw the cross round my neck, he stepped back at once. Count, what are you?
