混世魔王
A demon has carried off the little monkeys of Flower Fruit Mountain. Wukong flies north to face him with empty hands and one new trick.

Dàwáng, nǐ bú zài Huāguǒ Shān de shíhou, nàge Mówáng lái le. Fēng hǎo dà, léi hǎo xiǎng!
Your Majesty, while you were away from Flower Fruit Mountain, that Demon King came. The wind roared and the thunder crashed!
- Little Monkey 他抓走了我们好多小弟弟、小妹妹！
Tā zhuā zǒu le wǒmen hǎo duō xiǎo dìdi, xiǎo mèimei!
He carried off so many of our little brothers and sisters!
- Sun Wukong 别哭了！那个魔王住在哪儿？
Bié kū le! Nàge Mówáng zhù zài nǎr?
Don't cry! Where does this Demon King live?

- Old Monkey 我们只知道，他是从北边来的。有多远？谁也不知道。
Wǒmen zhǐ zhīdào, tā shì cóng běibian lái de. Yǒu duō yuǎn? Shéi yě bù zhīdào.
All we know is that he comes from the north. How far? Nobody knows.
- Sun Wukong 北边？好！你们在家等着，我去去就来！
Běibian? Hǎo! Nǐmen zài jiā děngzhe, wǒ qù qù jiù lái!
The north? Fine! You wait at home. I'll be right back!
- Sun Wukong 北边……北边……有了！大山下边，一个黑黑的洞！
Běibian… běibian… yǒu le! Dà shān xiàbian, yí gè hēihēi de dòng!
North… north… there! At the foot of that big mountain, a dark, dark cave!
- Sun Wukong 混世魔王，快出来！水帘洞的大王来了！
Hùnshì Mówáng, kuài chūlai! Shuǐlián Dòng de dàwáng lái le!
Demon King of Chaos, come out! The king of the Water Curtain Cave is here!
- Sun Wukong 好大的妖怪！有三个我那么高，穿着黑铁衣服，拿着一把大刀！
Hǎo dà de yāoguài! Yǒu sān gè wǒ nàme gāo, chuānzhe hēi tiě yīfu, názhe yì bǎ dàdāo!
What a huge demon! Three times my height, dressed in black iron, with a great big sword!
- Narrator 魔王哈哈大笑：“你这么小，手上也没有刀，还敢来找我？”
Mówáng hāhā dà xiào: “Nǐ zhème xiǎo, shǒu shang yě méiyǒu dāo, hái gǎn lái zhǎo wǒ?”
The Demon King roared with laughter. “You're so small, and you haven't even got a sword. And you dare come after me?”
- Sun Wukong 你说我小？我要大，就能大！我这两只手，还能拿到天上的月亮！
Nǐ shuō wǒ xiǎo? Wǒ yào dà, jiù néng dà! Wǒ zhè liǎng zhī shǒu, hái néng nádào tiānshàng de yuèliang!
You call me small? If I want to be big, I can be big! And these two hands of mine can reach the moon in the sky!
- Narrator 两个人打了起来。魔王打不过，就拿起了大刀。
Liǎng gè rén dǎ le qǐlai. Mówáng dǎ bu guò, jiù ná qǐ le dàdāo.
The two of them began to fight. The Demon King was losing, so he grabbed his great sword.
- Sun Wukong 哈哈，打不到！看我的本领！
Hāhā, dǎ bu dào! Kàn wǒ de běnlǐng!
Ha ha, missed me! Now watch what I can do!
- Narrator 悟空从身上拿了一些毛，放在嘴里，向天上一吹。
Wùkōng cóng shēnshang ná le yìxiē máo, fàng zài zuǐ li, xiàng tiānshàng yì chuī.
Wukong plucked a few hairs from his body, put them in his mouth, and blew them up into the air.
- Sun Wukong 变！
Biàn!
Change!
- Narrator 两三百个小小的猴子跳了出来。
Liǎng sānbǎi gè xiǎoxiǎo de hóuzi tiào le chūlai.
Two or three hundred tiny monkeys came leaping out.
- Sun Wukong 孩儿们，上！抓他的头发！打他的脚！
Hái'érmen, shàng! Zhuā tā de tóufa! Dǎ tā de jiǎo!
Go get him, children! Grab his hair! Hit his feet!
- Narrator 悟空拿过魔王的大刀，向他打去。混世魔王倒下了，没有再起来。
Wùkōng ná guò Mówáng de dàdāo, xiàng tā dǎ qù. Hùnshì Mówáng dǎoxià le, méiyǒu zài qǐlai.
Wukong seized the Demon King's own sword and swung it at him. The Demon King of Chaos fell, and he never got up again.
- Sun Wukong 孩子们！……一个，两个，三个……三五十个孩子，都在这儿！
Háizimen! … Yí gè, liǎng gè, sān gè… sān wǔshí gè háizi, dōu zài zhèr!
Children! …One, two, three… thirty, forty, fifty of you, all here!
- Sun Wukong 还有石头碗！都拿上！这个坏地方，一把火烧了它！
Hái yǒu shítou wǎn! Dōu ná shang! Zhège huài dìfang, yì bǎ huǒ shāo le tā!
And our stone bowls! Take them all! As for this wicked place, I'll burn it down!
- Sun Wukong 孩儿们，站在一起！别往下看！走！
Hái'érmen, zhàn zài yìqǐ! Bié wǎng xià kàn! Zǒu!
Children, stand close together! Don't look down! Off we go!
- Old Monkey 回来了！大王回来了！孩子们也都回来了！
Huílai le! Dàwáng huílai le! Háizimen yě dōu huílai le!
They're back! Your Majesty is back! And the little ones are all back too!
- Little Monkey 大王，听说你变出了好几百个猴子！
Dàwáng, tīngshuō nǐ biàn chū le hǎo jǐ bǎi gè hóuzi!
Your Majesty, they say you made hundreds of monkeys appear!
- Sun Wukong 哈哈，真的！孩儿们，还有一件好事：我有名字了！
Hāhā, zhēn de! Hái'érmen, hái yǒu yí jiàn hǎo shì: wǒ yǒu míngzi le!
Ha ha, it's true! And children, there's more good news. I have a name now!
- Old Monkey 名字？叫什么？
Míngzi? Jiào shénme?
A name? What is it?
- Sun Wukong 我姓孙，叫孙悟空！
Wǒ xìng Sūn, jiào Sūn Wùkōng!
My surname is Sun, and my name is Sun Wukong!
- Little Monkey 孙？那大王是老孙，我们都是小孙！
Sūn? Nà dàwáng shì Lǎo Sūn, wǒmen dōu shì xiǎo Sūn!
Sun? Then Your Majesty is Old Sun, and we're all little Suns!
- Old Monkey 哈哈，我这么老，也是小孙！
Hāhā, wǒ zhème lǎo, yě shì xiǎo Sūn!
Ha ha! Old as I am, I'm a little Sun too!
- Sun Wukong 老孙？好！好！好！以后，我就叫老孙！
Lǎo Sūn? Hǎo! Hǎo! Hǎo! Yǐhòu, wǒ jiù jiào Lǎo Sūn!
Old Sun? Good! Good! Good! From now on, I'm Old Sun!
- Little Monkey 大王，谁给你起的名字？
Dàwáng, shéi gěi nǐ qǐ de míngzi?
Your Majesty, who gave you that name?
- Sun Wukong 这个……是老孙的秘密！
Zhège… shì Lǎo Sūn de mìmì!
That… is Old Sun's secret!
- Sun Wukong 这把刀不好用……老孙要一件真正的宝贝！
Zhè bǎ dāo bù hǎo yòng… Lǎo Sūn yào yí jiàn zhēnzhèng de bǎobèi!
This sword is no good… Old Sun wants a real treasure!
