- Zhu Bajie 我找到水以后，先吃一点东西，再睡一觉……不是，我是说，我很快就回来！
Wǒ zhǎodào shuǐ yǐhòu, xiān chī yì diǎn dōngxi, zài shuì yí jiào… búshì, wǒ shì shuō, wǒ hěn kuài jiù huílái!
Once I find water, I'll eat a little, then take a nap... I mean, I'll be back very soon!
- Tang Seng 悟净去前面看路了。你快去快回，听到了吗？
Wùjìng qù qiánmiàn kàn lù le. Nǐ kuài qù kuài huí, tīngdào le ma?
Wujing has gone ahead to check the road. Go and come straight back, do you hear?
- Tang Seng 八戒去了这么久，还不回来。他是不是又睡着了？
Bājiè qù le zhème jiǔ, hái bù huílái. Tā shì bu shì yòu shuìzháo le?
Bajie has been gone so long, and he isn't back. Has he fallen asleep again?
- Tang Seng 悟空要是在，一个筋斗就把水拿回来了……
Wùkōng yàoshì zài, yí gè jīndǒu jiù bǎ shuǐ ná huílái le…
If Wukong were here, one somersault and he'd be back with water...
- Tang Seng 太阳这么大，我的头也有点晕……我在树下休息一下，等八戒回来。
Tàiyáng zhème dà, wǒ de tóu yě yǒudiǎn yūn… wǒ zài shù xià xiūxī yíxià, děng Bājiè huílái.
The sun is so strong... My head is spinning. I'll rest a little under the tree and wait for Bajie.
- The Fake Wukong 师父！我回来了！
Shīfu! Wǒ huílái le!
Master! I'm back!
- Tang Seng 悟空？你回来了！我就知道，你不会不管我！
Wùkōng? Nǐ huílái le! Wǒ jiù zhīdào, nǐ búhuì bùguǎn wǒ!
Wukong? You've come back! I knew you wouldn't leave me!
- The Fake Wukong 是啊，老孙回来了。不过，老孙有一件事，想跟你好好说一说。
Shì a, Lǎo Sūn huílái le. Búguò, Lǎo Sūn yǒu yí jiàn shì, xiǎng gēn nǐ hǎohǎo shuō yi shuō.
Yes, Old Sun is back. But there is something Old Sun wants to tell you.
- Tang Seng 什么事？你说吧。
Shénme shì? Nǐ shuō ba.
What is it? Tell me.
- The Fake Wukong 去西天，路太远了，老孙不想再走了。你把包袱给我，我自己去取经，比你们快多了！
Qù Xītiān, lù tài yuǎn le, Lǎo Sūn bùxiǎng zài zǒu le. Nǐ bǎ bāofu gěi wǒ, wǒ zìjǐ qù qǔ jīng, bǐ nǐmen kuài duō le!
The West is too far. Old Sun doesn't want to walk anymore. Give me the bundle and I'll fetch the scriptures myself, much faster than you lot!
- Tang Seng 悟空，你说什么？包袱里有我们的东西，还有取经要用的东西，不能给你！
Wùkōng, nǐ shuō shénme? Bāofu lǐ yǒu wǒmen de dōngxi, hái yǒu qǔ jīng yào yòng de dōngxi, bùnéng gěi nǐ!
Wukong, what are you saying? Our things are in that bundle, everything we need for the journey. I can't give it to you!
- The Fake Wukong 给我！
Gěi wǒ!
Give it to me!
- Tang Seng 啊！我的肩膀……悟空，你……你打我？
A! Wǒ de jiānbǎng… Wùkōng, nǐ… nǐ dǎ wǒ?
Ah! My shoulder... Wukong, you... you hit me?
- The Fake Wukong 哈哈哈！包袱是老孙的了！再见，唐僧，你慢慢等你的水吧！
Hāhāhā! Bāofu shì Lǎo Sūn de le! Zàijiàn, Táng Sēng, nǐ mànmàn děng nǐ de shuǐ ba!
Ha ha! The bundle is Old Sun's now! Goodbye, Tang Seng. Enjoy waiting for your water!
- Narrator 那只猴子拿着包袱，翻了一个筋斗，不见了。
Nà zhǐ hóuzi ná zhe bāofu, fān le yí gè jīndǒu, bújiàn le.
The monkey took the bundle, somersaulted into the sky and was gone.
- Tang Seng 悟空，你等等……你为什么要这样？我的肩膀好疼……
Wùkōng, nǐ děngděng… nǐ wèishénme yào zhèyàng? Wǒ de jiānbǎng hǎo téng…
Wukong, wait... why would you do this? My shoulder hurts so much...
- Zhu Bajie 师父，水来了！我还带了吃的……哎呀，师父，你怎么坐在地上？
Shīfu, shuǐ lái le! Wǒ hái dài le chī de… āiya, shīfu, nǐ zěnme zuò zài dìshàng?
Master, here's the water! I brought something to eat too... Aiya, Master, why are you sitting on the ground?
- Tang Seng 八戒……是悟空。他打了我，还拿走了包袱。
Bājiè… shì Wùkōng. Tā dǎ le wǒ, hái ná zǒu le bāofu.
Bajie... it was Wukong. He hit me, and he took the bundle.
- Zhu Bajie 什么？大师兄打你？不会吧！他走的时候，那么难过……
Shénme? Dàshīxiong dǎ nǐ? Búhuì ba! Tā zǒu de shíhou, nàme nánguò…
What? Big Brother hit you? No way! He was so sad when he left...
- Sha Wujing 师父，我回来了。包袱呢？
Shīfu, wǒ huílái le. Bāofu ne?
Master, I'm back. Where is the bundle?
- Tang Seng 被悟空拿走了。他说，他要自己去西天取经。
Bèi Wùkōng ná zǒu le. Tā shuō, tā yào zìjǐ qù Xītiān qǔ jīng.
Wukong took it. He said he would go fetch the scriptures himself.
- Zhu Bajie 这个坏猴子！我早就知道他不是好人！
Zhège huài hóuzi! Wǒ zǎojiù zhīdào tā búshì hǎorén!
That rotten monkey! I always knew he was no good!
- Sha Wujing 二师兄，刚才你还说，他帮了我们很多。
Èr shīxiong, gāngcái nǐ hái shuō, tā bāng le wǒmen hěn duō.
Second Brother, a moment ago you said he had helped us a lot.
- Zhu Bajie 啊……那是刚才。现在，我很生气！
A… nà shì gāngcái. Xiànzài, wǒ hěn shēngqì!
Oh... that was a moment ago. Now I'm angry!
- Sha Wujing 我觉得，这件事不对。大师兄很生气，可是他不会打师父，也不会拿走我们的包袱。
Wǒ juéde, zhèjiàn shì bú duì. Dàshīxiong hěn shēngqì, kěshì tā búhuì dǎ shīfu, yě búhuì ná zǒu wǒmen de bāofu.
I think something is wrong. Big Brother was angry, but he would never hit Master or take our bundle.
- Sha Wujing 我去花果山看看。我要问清楚。
Wǒ qù Huāguǒ Shān kànkan. Wǒ yào wèn qīngchǔ.
I'll go to Flower Fruit Mountain and see. I want to get to the bottom of this.
- Zhu Bajie 你一个人去？他那么厉害，要是他也打你呢？
Nǐ yí gè rén qù? Tā nàme lìhài, yàoshì tā yě dǎ nǐ ne?
You'll go alone? He's so strong. What if he hits you too?
- Sha Wujing 如果他不是大师兄，那么，他到底是谁？
Rúguǒ tā búshì dàshīxiong, nàme, tā dàodǐ shì shuí?
And if he is not Big Brother, then who on earth is he?
