The Strange Fish
一条奇怪的鱼
Wukong finds Master hanging in a cave of cobwebs, and a very strange fish turns up at the sisters' hot spring. But somebody's big brother is on his way.

Listen, you two! Someone is calling Old Sun!
- Zhu Bajie 老猪什么都没听见。只听见风。
Lǎo Zhū shénme dōu méi tīngjiàn. Zhǐ tīngjiàn fēng.
Old Pig can't hear a thing. Only the wind.
- Sha Wujing 大师兄的耳朵，比谁的都好。二师兄，别说话。
Dà shīxiong de ěrduo, bǐ shéi de dōu hǎo. Èr shīxiong, bié shuōhuà.
Big Brother has the best ears of all of us. Second Brother, be quiet.

It's Master! Master is calling Old Sun! You two wait here. Old Sun will go and see!
- Zhu Bajie 猴哥，快去快回！还有，别忘了老猪的饭！
Hóugē, kuài qù kuài huí! Hái yǒu, bié wàng le Lǎo Zhū de fàn!
Monkey Brother, be quick! And don't forget Old Pig's dinner!
- Narrator 悟空跳上云，飞下山去。山下的大房子不见了，只有一个黑山洞。
Wùkōng tiào shàng yún, fēi xià shān qù. Shān xià de dà fángzi bú jiàn le, zhǐyǒu yí gè hēi shāndòng.
Wukong leaped onto his cloud and flew down the mountain. The big house was gone. There was only a black cave.
- Sun Wukong 房子是假的！山洞里，到处都是白丝……
Fángzi shì jiǎ de! Shāndòng lǐ, dàochù dōu shì bái sī…
The house was fake! This cave is full of white silk everywhere...
- Tang Seng 悟空……悟空，我在这里！
Wùkōng… Wùkōng, wǒ zài zhèlǐ!
Wukong... Wukong, I'm up here!
- Sun Wukong 师父！你怎么挂在上面？
Shīfu! Nǐ zěnme guà zài shàngmiàn?
Master! Why are you hanging up there?
- Tang Seng 那七个女人是蜘蛛精！她们去温泉玩水了，一会儿就回来。
Nà qī gè nǚrén shì zhīzhūjīng! Tāmen qù wēnquán wán shuǐ le, yíhuìr jiù huílái.
Those seven women are spider spirits! They went to play in the hot spring, but they'll be back soon.
- Sun Wukong 蜘蛛精？老孙的棒子，来打断这些丝！
Zhīzhūjīng? Lǎo Sūn de bàngzi, lái dǎduàn zhèxiē sī!
Spider spirits? Old Sun's staff will cut through this silk!
- Sun Wukong 哎呀！棒子粘住了！这丝怎么这么粘？
Āiyā! Bàngzi zhānzhù le! Zhè sī zěnme zhème nián?
Ow! My staff is stuck! Why is this silk so sticky?
- Tang Seng 悟空，她们很快就回来了。怎么办？
Wùkōng, tāmen hěn kuài jiù huílái le. Zěnme bàn?
Wukong, they'll be back any moment. What do we do?
- Sun Wukong 有了！老孙有很多毛，正好来帮忙！
Yǒu le! Lǎo Sūn yǒu hěn duō máo, zhènghǎo lái bāngmáng!
I've got it! Old Sun has plenty of hair, and it's just right for helping out!
- Sun Wukong 小猴子们，一根一根地咬！别咬到师父！
Xiǎo hóuzimen, yì gēn yì gēn de yǎo! Bié yǎodào shīfu!
Little monkeys, nibble the silk one strand at a time! Don't nibble Master!
- Tang Seng 悟空，你不救我，你要去哪儿？
Wùkōng, nǐ bú jiù wǒ, nǐ yào qù nǎr?
Wukong, aren't you going to save me yourself? Where are you going?
- Sun Wukong 师父放心，小猴子们会咬断丝的。老孙去温泉，拿走她们的丝衣。
Shīfu fàngxīn, xiǎo hóuzimen huì yǎoduàn sī de. Lǎo Sūn qù wēnquán, názǒu tāmen de sī yī.
Don't worry, Master. The little monkeys will chew through the silk. Old Sun is going to the hot spring to take their silk coats.
- Tang Seng 拿她们的衣服？悟空，这样不好吧？
Ná tāmen de yīfu? Wùkōng, zhèyàng bù hǎo ba?
Take their clothes? Wukong, is that really a good idea?
- Sun Wukong 这是为了救你！她们没有丝衣，就不敢回来！
Zhè shì wèile jiù nǐ! Tāmen méiyǒu sī yī, jiù bù gǎn huílái!
It's to save you! Without their silk coats, they won't dare come back!
- The Youngest Sister 姐姐，这水真暖和！比昨天还好玩！
Jiějie, zhè shuǐ zhēn nuǎnhuo! Bǐ zuótiān hái hǎowán!
Sister, this water is so warm! It's even more fun than yesterday!
- The Eldest Sister 玩够了，我们就回去，好好请那个和尚吃饭。
Wán gòu le, wǒmen jiù huíqù, hǎohǎo qǐng nàge héshang chīfàn.
When we've played enough, we'll go home and have that monk over for a proper meal.
- Sun Wukong 七件丝衣，都拿到手了。看你们怎么回去！
Qī jiàn sī yī, dōu ná dào shǒu le. Kàn nǐmen zěnme huíqù!
All seven silk coats are in my hands. Let's see how you get home!
- The Youngest Sister 姐姐！我们的丝衣呢？谁拿走了我们的丝衣？
Jiějie! Wǒmen de sī yī ne? Shéi názǒu le wǒmen de sī yī?
Sister! Where are our silk coats? Who took our silk coats?
- The Eldest Sister 一定是那只猴子！我们先别出水！
Yídìng shì nà zhī hóuzi! Wǒmen xiān bié chū shuǐ!
It must be that monkey! Let's not come out of the water yet!
- Zhu Bajie 咕噜咕噜……我是一条鱼。一条普通的鱼。
Gūlū gūlū… wǒ shì yì tiáo yú. Yì tiáo pǔtōng de yú.
Glub, glub... I'm a fish. Just an ordinary fish.
- The Youngest Sister 姐姐，你看！水里有一条大鱼！
Jiějie, nǐ kàn! Shuǐ lǐ yǒu yì tiáo dà yú!
Sister, look! There's a big fish in the water!
- The Eldest Sister 这条鱼的鼻子，怎么像猪的鼻子？
Zhè tiáo yú de bízi, zěnme xiàng zhū de bízi?
Why does this fish have a nose like a pig's?
- Zhu Bajie 不像不像！老猪……我是鱼！咕噜咕噜！
Bú xiàng bú xiàng! Lǎo Zhū… wǒ shì yú! Gūlū gūlū!
No, no, it doesn't! Old Pig... I mean, I'm a fish! Glub, glub!
- The Youngest Sister 哈哈，它说话了！鱼怎么会说话？
Hāhā, tā shuōhuà le! Yú zěnme huì shuōhuà?
Ha ha, it's talking! Since when do fish talk?
- Zhu Bajie 好了好了，是老猪！老猪走了一路，只想洗个热水澡啊！
Hǎo le hǎo le, shì Lǎo Zhū! Lǎo Zhū zǒule yílù, zhǐ xiǎng xǐ gè rè shuǐzǎo a!
All right, all right, it's Old Pig! Old Pig walked all day and just wanted a hot soak!
- The Eldest Sister 你们两个，别想走！去，请哥哥来！他的金光，谁也挡不住！
Nǐmen liǎng gè, bié xiǎng zǒu! Qù, qǐng gēge lái! Tā de jīnguāng, shéi yě dǎng bú zhù!
You two, don't think you're going anywhere! Go, fetch our brother! No one can stand against his golden light!
