- Little Red Riding Hood 对了，妈妈说，先说早上好。奶奶，早上好！
Duì le, māma shuō, xiān shuō zǎoshang hǎo. Nǎinai, zǎoshang hǎo!
Oh, right, Mom said to say good morning first. Good morning, Grandma!
- The Big Gray Wolf 早上？现在都下午了……你怎么来得这么晚？
Zǎoshang? Xiànzài dōu xiàwǔ le… nǐ zěnme lái de zhème wǎn?
Morning? It's already afternoon… What took you so long?
- Little Red Riding Hood 对不起，奶奶。你看，这是我给你摘的花！
Duìbuqǐ, nǎinai. Nǐ kàn, zhè shì wǒ gěi nǐ zhāi de huā!
Sorry, Grandma. Look, I picked these flowers for you!
- The Big Gray Wolf 花？好，好……篮子里是什么？好香啊！

- Narrator 小红帽走到床边。“奶奶”的帽子戴得很低，看不见脸。
Xiǎo Hóngmào zǒu dào chuáng biān. “Nǎinai” de màozi dài de hěn dī, kàn bú jiàn liǎn.
Little Red Riding Hood went over to the bed. “Grandma” had pulled her cap down so low that her face was hidden.
- Little Red Riding Hood 奶奶，你的耳朵怎么这么大？
Nǎinai, nǐ de ěrduo zěnme zhème dà?
Grandma, why are your ears so big?
- The Big Gray Wolf 耳朵大，好听你说话啊！
Ěrduo dà, hǎo tīng nǐ shuōhuà a!
Big ears are for hearing you better!
- Little Red Riding Hood 奶奶，你的眼睛怎么这么大？

Grandma, why are your hands so big? And so hairy?
- The Big Gray Wolf 手大，好拉住你啊！人老了，毛就多了！
Shǒu dà, hǎo lāzhù nǐ a! Rén lǎo le, máo jiù duō le!
Big hands are for holding on to you! And when you get old, you get hairy!
- Narrator 这时候，“奶奶”的肚子叫了起来。
Zhè shíhou, “nǎinai” de dùzi jiào le qǐlái.
Just then, “Grandma's” tummy began to rumble.
- Little Red Riding Hood 奶奶，你的肚子怎么叫了？
Nǎinai, nǐ de dùzi zěnme jiào le?
Grandma, why is your tummy rumbling?
- The Big Gray Wolf 奶奶……奶奶饿了！蛋糕呢？快给我！
Nǎinai… nǎinai è le! Dàngāo ne? Kuài gěi wǒ!
Grandma's… Grandma's hungry! Where's that cake? Give it here!
- Narrator 忽然，衣柜里响了一下。
Hūrán, yīguì lǐ xiǎng le yíxià.
Suddenly, something thumped inside the wardrobe.
- Little Red Riding Hood 什么声音？衣柜里有人吗？
Shénme shēngyīn? Yīguì lǐ yǒu rén ma?
What was that? Is someone in the wardrobe?
- The Big Gray Wolf 没有，没有！是风，是风！
Méiyǒu, méiyǒu! Shì fēng, shì fēng!
No, no! It's the wind, just the wind!
- Little Red Riding Hood 风？今天没有风啊……奶奶的声音不对，奶奶的手也不对……
Fēng? Jīntiān méiyǒu fēng a… nǎinai de shēngyīn bú duì, nǎinai de shǒu yě bú duì…
The wind? There's no wind today… Grandma's voice is wrong, and her hands are wrong too…
