Face to face with the wolf, Red has one idea left, and it's in her basket. Then someone walking past the cottage hears a very strange noise.

- Little Red Riding Hood 那你先吃蛋糕吧！蛋糕很好吃，还有酒！
Nà nǐ xiān chī dàngāo ba! Dàngāo hěn hǎochī, hái yǒu jiǔ!
Then have the cake first! It's delicious, and there's wine too!
- The Big Gray Wolf 蛋糕？……好香啊！
Dàngāo?… Hǎo xiāng a!
Cake?… Mmm, it smells wonderful!
- The Big Gray Wolf 好！先吃蛋糕，再吃你！
Hǎo! Xiān chī dàngāo, zài chī nǐ!
All right! Cake first, and then you!
- Narrator 大灰狼吃了一个大蛋糕，又喝了一瓶酒。
Dà Huīláng chī le yí gè dà dàngāo, yòu hē le yì píng jiǔ.
The wolf gobbled up a whole big cake and drank a whole bottle of wine.
- The Big Gray Wolf 吃饱了……好累啊……我先睡一会儿，再吃你……
Chībǎo le… hǎo lèi a… wǒ xiān shuì yíhuìr, zài chī nǐ…
So full… so tired… I'll take a little nap first, and then I'll eat you…
- Little Red Riding Hood 睡吧，睡吧……快睡吧！
Shuì ba, shuì ba… kuài shuì ba!
Sleep, sleep… go on, fall asleep!
- Narrator 大灰狼躺在床上，睡着了，还打起了呼噜。
Dà Huīláng tǎng zài chuáng shang, shuìzháo le, hái dǎqǐ le hūlu.
The wolf lay down on the bed, fell asleep, and began to snore.
- Little Red Riding Hood 呼噜，呼噜……他睡着了！奶奶，你在哪儿？
Hūlu, hūlu… tā shuìzháo le! Nǎinai, nǐ zài nǎr?
Listen to him snore… He's asleep! Grandma, where are you?
- Grandma 小红帽，我在这儿！在衣柜里！
Xiǎo Hóngmào, wǒ zài zhèr! Zài yīguì lǐ!
Little Red Riding Hood, I'm here! In the wardrobe!
- Little Red Riding Hood 奶奶，小声一点儿。我来开门……
Nǎinai, xiǎoshēng yìdiǎnr. Wǒ lái kāimén…
Not so loud, Grandma. I'll open the door…
- Grandma 我的好孩子！你没事吧？
Wǒ de hǎo háizi! Nǐ méi shì ba?
My good girl! Are you all right?
- Little Red Riding Hood 我没事！奶奶，快，我们走！
Wǒ méi shì! Nǎinai, kuài, wǒmen zǒu!
I'm fine! Quick, Grandma, let's go!
- Narrator 这时候，一个猎人从奶奶家门口走过。
Zhè shíhou, yí gè lièrén cóng nǎinai jiā ménkǒu zǒuguò.
Just then, a hunter came walking past Grandma's door.
- The Hunter 谁在打呼噜？声音这么大！
Shéi zài dǎ hūlu? Shēngyīn zhème dà!
Who's snoring in there? What a racket!
- The Hunter 奶奶是不是病了？我进去看看。
Nǎinai shì bú shì bìng le? Wǒ jìnqù kànkan.
Is Grandma sick? I'd better go in and see.
- The Hunter 大灰狼！是你！我找了你很久了！
Dà Huīláng! Shì nǐ! Wǒ zhǎo le nǐ hěn jiǔ le!
Big Gray Wolf! It's you! I've been after you for ages!
- The Big Gray Wolf 什么？猎人！快跑！
Shénme? Lièrén! Kuài pǎo!
What? The hunter! Run!
- The Hunter 站住！别跑！
Zhànzhù! Bié pǎo!
Stop right there! Come back here!
- Narrator 大灰狼跳出窗户，跑进了森林，再也没有回来。
Dà Huīláng tiàochū chuānghu, pǎojìn le sēnlín, zài yě méiyǒu huílái.
The wolf leaped out of the window, ran off into the forest, and never came back.
- The Hunter 哈哈！他跑了，还戴着奶奶的帽子呢！
Hāhā! Tā pǎo le, hái dàizhe nǎinai de màozi ne!
Ha ha! He got away, and he's still wearing Grandma's nightcap!
- Grandma 我的帽子！没关系，送给他吧！
Wǒ de màozi! Méi guānxi, sòng gěi tā ba!
My nightcap! Oh well, he can keep it!
- The Hunter 一个蛋糕，就让大灰狼睡着了！小红帽，你真行！
Yí gè dàngāo, jiù ràng Dà Huīláng shuìzháo le! Xiǎo Hóngmào, nǐ zhēn xíng!
One cake, and the wolf was fast asleep! Little Red Riding Hood, you're really something!
- Little Red Riding Hood 奶奶，对不起。我离开了大路，去摘花了。
Nǎinai, duìbuqǐ. Wǒ líkāi le dàlù, qù zhāi huā le.
Grandma, I'm sorry. I left the path to pick flowers.
- Grandma 没关系。你今天很勇敢！可是以后，要走大路，好吗？
Méi guānxi. Nǐ jīntiān hěn yǒnggǎn! Kěshì yǐhòu, yào zǒu dàlù, hǎo ma?

That's my girl! Now, let Grandma see your flowers. Oh, they smell lovely… I feel half better already!
