Years pass, and Plumfield fills with boys and apples. On Marmee's birthday the whole family gathers under the trees, and the sisters remember their old dreams.

Jo waited a year. That year, Aunt March passed away. Her big house, Plumfield, went to Jo.

Bhaer, let's open a school for boys at Plumfield!
- Professor Bhaer 好！我们结婚，一起教他们，一起爱他们。

Yes! We will marry, and teach them together, and love them together.

Today is Marmee's sixtieth birthday! All the apples are for Marmee!

Amy, you beat me at everything. On the lake, you rowed better than me too!

Lǎn Láolǐ, nà shì yīnwèi nǐ háishi yǒudiǎnr lǎn!
Lazy Laurence, that's because you're still a little lazy!

That afternoon, the three sisters sat under the trees.

Do you remember our castles in the air?
- Meg 我以前想要一座大房子。我的家很小，可是我很快乐。
Wǒ yǐqián xiǎng yào yí zuò dà fángzi. Wǒ de jiā hěn xiǎo, kěshì wǒ hěn kuàilè.
I wanted a big house. My home is small, but I'm very happy.
- Amy 我以前想去罗马，做大画家。现在，我最想画我的小贝丝。
Wǒ yǐqián xiǎng qù Luómǎ, zuò dà huàjiā. Xiànzài, wǒ zuì xiǎng huà wǒ de xiǎo Bèisī.
I wanted to go to Rome and be a great painter. Now, what I most want to paint is my little Beth.
- Jo 我还没写出好书。可是你们看，这么多男孩子！还有我的两个小儿子！
Wǒ hái méi xiě chū hǎo shū. Kěshì nǐmen kàn, zhème duō nánháizi! Hái yǒu wǒ de liǎng gè xiǎo érzi!
I haven't written a good book yet. But look, all these boys! And my own two little sons!
- Jo 我们四个……贝丝也在这儿，对吗？
Wǒmen sì gè… Bèisī yě zài zhèr, duì ma?
The four of us... Beth is here too, isn't she?
- Amy 对，乔。她一直在我们身边。
Duì, Qiáo. Tā yìzhí zài wǒmen shēnbiān.
Yes, Jo. She has always been with us.
- Meg 我们是姐妹，永远都是。
Wǒmen shì jiěmèi, yǒngyuǎn dōu shì.
We're sisters, always.
- Father 我的小妇人们，你们都长大了。
