More than three years go by, and the war is over. Laurie rushes home from college, Jo is paid for her writing now, and Aunt March has one more warning for Meg.

More than three years went by, and the war was over. John had gone to the war, and he nearly didn't come back.

Still can't! What about you? Does the newspaper pay you now?
- Jo 给了！写一点儿，就有一块钱。有一次，我还拿到了一百块钱！
Gěi le! Xiě yìdiǎnr, jiù yǒu yí kuài qián. Yǒu yí cì, wǒ hái nádào le yìbǎi kuài qián!
They do! A little writing, and that's a dollar. Once I even got a hundred dollars!
- Laurie 一百块！你买了什么？
Yìbǎi kuài! Nǐ mǎi le shénme?
A hundred dollars! What did you buy?
- Jo 什么也没买。贝丝身体不太好，我让妈妈带她去了海边。
Shénme yě méi mǎi. Bèisī shēntǐ bú tài hǎo, wǒ ràng māma dài tā qù le hǎibiān.
Nothing. Beth hasn't been very well, so I sent Marmee to the seaside with her.
- Laurie 那艾米呢？
Nà Àimǐ ne?
And Amy?
- Jo 十六岁了，天天画画，说要做大画家！
Shíliù suì le, tiāntiān huàhuà, shuō yào zuò dà huàjiā!
She's sixteen now. She paints every day and says she'll be a great artist!

That morning, Meg was married at home.
- John Brooke 马奇太太，我在公司工作，钱不多。可是我会让梅格快乐。

Mrs. March, I work in an office, and I don't earn much. But I will make Meg happy.

- Aunt March 梅格，你会后悔的！跟这么穷的人结婚！

A flower from Jo? I'll keep it forever! Everyone, come and dance!
- Jo 天哪！马奇姑妈也在跳舞！

Good heavens! Aunt March is dancing too!
- Mr. Laurence 她能跳舞，我也能，啊？
