The second thing is harder to say: Mr. Wickham has deceived us all.

Mr. Wickham?… Perhaps there's some misunderstanding?

There's no misunderstanding. Mr. Darcy explained everything in his letter.

No. What happened to Miss Darcy is a secret, and it isn't ours to tell. And even if we told, no one would believe us.

Don't worry. Anyone who knows you and Jane knows what good girls you are.

Before the officers left, they came to dinner one last time.

- Elizabeth Bennet 我问过旅馆的人了：今年夏天，主人一家都不在。那就去看看吧。

I asked at the inn: the family is away this summer. Well then, let's go and see it.

The next morning, the carriage climbed slowly uphill between great trees.

Lizzy, look! That's Pemberley!
- Elizabeth Bennet 好大的石头房子……前面还有一条小河。
