Mrs. Bennet sends Jane out in the rain on purpose, and Elizabeth marches three muddy miles to nurse her. At Netherfield, Mr. Darcy cannot stop looking at her.

The carriage is needed today. If you want to go, walk. It's hardly any distance.

I'd walk any distance. Jane is waiting for me!
- Elizabeth Bennet 哎呀，我的鞋！我的裙子！怎么全是泥，我都快走不动了！
Āiyā, wǒ de xié! Wǒ de qúnzi! Zěnme quán shì ní, wǒ dōu kuài zǒu bú dòng le!
Oh, my shoes! My skirt! It's covered in mud, I can hardly walk!
- Miss Bingley 哎呀，伊丽莎白小姐！你的裙子怎么这么脏？难道你是走路来的？
Āiyā, Yīlìshābái xiǎojie! Nǐ de qúnzi zěnme zhème zāng? Nándào nǐ shì zǒulù lái de?
Oh, Miss Elizabeth! Why is your dress so dirty? Don't tell me you walked here?

Yes, I was so worried about my sister that I walked the whole way. The mud couldn't be helped.

You're so brave! Miss Bennet is upstairs. The doctor just left, and he says she needs good rest.
- Jane Bennet 伊丽莎白……你来了。我的头好晕，喉咙也好痛。
Yīlìshābái… nǐ lái le. Wǒ de tóu hǎo yūn, hóulong yě hǎo tòng.
Elizabeth… you came. My head is so dizzy and my throat hurts so much.
- Elizabeth Bennet 别说话，快睡吧，我哪儿也不去，我会一直坐在这儿陪你。
Bié shuōhuà, kuài shuì ba, wǒ nǎr yě bú qù, wǒ huì yìzhí zuò zài zhèr péi nǐ.
Don't talk, just sleep. I'm going nowhere. I'll sit right here with you.

I saw. But after such a long walk, her eyes only grew brighter.

What?! Didn't you say she wasn't pretty at all?
- Mr. Darcy 我……我只是随便说说，请你不要再提这件事了。

I… I was only speaking carelessly. Please don't bring it up again.

Sorry, I came down to find a book for Jane. Were you two talking about me?

No. Miss Elizabeth, do you enjoy reading?

Of course, and I love to laugh. Mr. Darcy, do you never laugh?
- Mr. Darcy 我很少笑，因为我觉得世界上大部分的事情都不好笑。

Rarely, because I find that most things in the world aren't funny.

I must be careful. It seems I'm about to fall for the girl who is "not pretty enough."
