Robin Hood shoots a far-off deer for a friendly bet, but the deer belongs to the king. Now the Sheriff wants him, and a huge voice booms out of the dark.

Long ago, England had a great forest. Young Robin Hood lived right beside it.
- Robin Hood 好大的一头鹿！它离我至少有一百步。
Hǎo dà de yì tóu lù! Tā lí wǒ zhìshǎo yǒu yìbǎi bù.
What a big deer! It's at least a hundred paces from me.
- Robin Hood 我好想试一试我的弓。要是能射中它，就太好了！
Wǒ hǎo xiǎng shì yi shì wǒ de gōng. Yàoshi néng shèzhòng tā, jiù tài hǎo le!
I'd love to try my bow. It would be wonderful to hit it!
- The Forester 喂，小伙子！那是国王的鹿，谁也不许射！
Wèi, xiǎohuǒzi! Nà shì guówáng de lù, shéi yě bù xǔ shè!
Hey, boy! That is the king's deer. Nobody is allowed to shoot it!
- Robin Hood 我没有要射它。我只是说，我一定能射中。
Wǒ méiyǒu yào shè tā. Wǒ zhǐshì shuō, wǒ yídìng néng shèzhòng.
I'm not going to shoot it. I only said I could hit it for sure.
- The Forester 哈哈！这么远？你的箭飞不到那儿。
Hāhā! Zhème yuǎn? Nǐ de jiàn fēi bú dào nàr.
Ha! That far? Your arrow won't fly that far.
- Robin Hood 那我们说好了。我射中了，你请我吃饭！
Nà wǒmen shuōhǎo le. Wǒ shèzhòng le, nǐ qǐng wǒ chīfàn!
Then it's a deal. If I hit it, you buy me dinner!
- The Forester 你要是射不中，就给我二十个金币！
Nǐ yàoshi shè bú zhòng, jiù gěi wǒ èrshí ge jīnbì!
And if you miss, you give me twenty gold coins!
- Narrator 罗宾拉开弓。一支箭飞过草地，飞向那头鹿。
Luóbīn lā kāi gōng. Yì zhī jiàn fēi guò cǎodì, fēi xiàng nà tóu lù.
Robin drew his bow. An arrow flew across the meadow toward the deer.
- Robin Hood 看！中了！我说过，我能射中！
Kàn! Zhòng le! Wǒ shuōguo, wǒ néng shèzhòng!
Look! A hit! I told you I could!
- The Forester 不可能……这么远的路，你怎么射得中？你的眼睛，比老鹰还好吗？
Bù kěnéng… zhème yuǎn de lù, nǐ zěnme shè de zhòng? Nǐ de yǎnjing, bǐ lǎoyīng hái hǎo ma?
Impossible... from so far away, how did you hit it? Are your eyes better than an eagle's?
- The Forester 你这个傻小子！你射了国王的鹿！我要抓你去见警长！
Nǐ zhège shǎ xiǎozi! Nǐ shè le guówáng de lù! Wǒ yào zhuā nǐ qù jiàn jǐngzhǎng!
You fool! You shot the king's deer! I'm taking you to the sheriff!
- Robin Hood 等一下！我们说好了。你请我吃饭，不是抓我！
Děng yíxià! Wǒmen shuōhǎo le. Nǐ qǐng wǒ chīfàn, bú shì zhuā wǒ!
Wait! We had a deal. You buy me dinner, you don't arrest me!
- The Forester 我要给你一个教训！站住，不许跑！
Wǒ yào gěi nǐ yí gè jiàoxùn! Zhànzhù, bù xǔ pǎo!
I'll teach you a lesson! Stop, don't run!
- Narrator 猎人先射了一箭，没有射中。罗宾的箭更快，那个人倒下了。
Lièrén xiān shè le yí jiàn, méiyǒu shèzhòng. Luóbīn de jiàn gèng kuài, nà ge rén dǎoxià le.
The forester shot first and missed. Robin's arrow was quicker, and the man fell.
- Robin Hood 不……我不想这样。我只是想开个玩笑。
Bù… wǒ bù xiǎng zhèyàng. Wǒ zhǐshì xiǎng kāi ge wánxiào.
No... I didn't want this. I only wanted a joke.
- The Messenger 警长大人！森林里出事了！罗宾射了国王的鹿，还有一个猎人死了！
Jǐngzhǎng dàren! Sēnlín lǐ chūshì le! Luóbīn shè le guówáng de lù, hái yǒu yí gè lièrén sǐ le!
My lord Sheriff! Trouble in the forest! Robin shot the king's deer, and a forester is dead!
- The Sheriff 罗宾？就是那个总爱笑的小子？好，很好。
Luóbīn? Jiù shì nà ge zǒng ài xiào de xiǎozi? Hǎo, hěn hǎo.
Robin? That boy who's always laughing? Good. Very good.
- The Sheriff 听着！从今天起，罗宾是强盗。谁抓到他，我给他一百个金币！
Tīngzhe! Cóng jīntiān qǐ, Luóbīn shì qiángdào. Shéi zhuādào tā, wǒ gěi tā yìbǎi ge jīnbì!
Listen! From today, Robin is an outlaw. Whoever catches him gets a hundred gold coins!
- The Messenger 一百个金币？大人，全城的人都会去找他！
Yìbǎi ge jīnbì? Dàren, quán chéng de rén dōu huì qù zhǎo tā!
A hundred gold coins? My lord, the whole town will hunt for him!
- The Sheriff 很好。我要让他在英国，没有一个地方可以住。
Hěn hǎo. Wǒ yào ràng tā zài Yīngguó, méiyǒu yí gè dìfang kěyǐ zhù.
Good. I want him to have no place to live in England.
- The Sheriff 去！叫所有的兵来！天一亮，我们就进森林！
Qù! Jiào suǒyǒu de bīng lái! Tiān yí liàng, wǒmen jiù jìn sēnlín!
Go! Call every soldier! At first light we go into the forest!
- Narrator 天黑了。罗宾跑进了森林深处，身边一个人也没有。
Tiān hēi le. Luóbīn pǎo jìn le sēnlín shēnchù, shēnbiān yí gè rén yě méiyǒu.
Night fell. Robin ran deep into the forest, and there was no one beside him.
- Robin Hood 我回不去了。警长的兵会到处找我。
Wǒ huí bú qù le. Jǐngzhǎng de bīng huì dàochù zhǎo wǒ.
I can't go back. The Sheriff's soldiers will look for me everywhere.
- Robin Hood 可是森林这么大，这么绿……我住在这儿，也不错。
Kěshì sēnlín zhème dà, zhème lǜ… wǒ zhù zài zhèr, yě búcuò.
But the forest is so big and so green... living here isn't so bad.
- Robin Hood 我的弓，不能只用来射鹿。我要帮那些没有人帮的人。
Wǒ de gōng, bù néng zhǐ yòng lái shè lù. Wǒ yào bāng nàxiē méiyǒu rén bāng de rén.
My bow can't be only for shooting deer. I'll help the people nobody helps.
- Robin Hood 好了，罗宾。先睡觉。明天，还要找吃的。
Hǎo le, Luóbīn. Xiān shuìjiào. Míngtiān, hái yào zhǎo chī de.
All right, Robin. Sleep first. Tomorrow you still have to find food.
- Little John 谁走近我的桥？我的木棍在等你！
Shéi zǒu jìn wǒ de qiáo? Wǒ de mùgùn zài děng nǐ!
Who comes near my bridge? My staff is waiting for you!
- Robin Hood 什么声音？这么大！比警长的兵还大！
Shénme shēngyīn? Zhème dà! Bǐ jǐngzhǎng de bīng hái dà!
What was that? So loud! Louder than the Sheriff's soldiers!
- Robin Hood 桥？木棍？哈哈……我喜欢这个人。
Qiáo? Mùgùn? Hāhā… wǒ xǐhuan zhège rén.
A bridge? A staff? Ha... I like this man.
- Robin Hood 明天一早，我要去看看。谁的声音这么大！
Míngtiān yìzǎo, wǒ yào qù kànkan. Shéi de shēngyīn zhème dà!
Tomorrow at dawn I'm going to see. Whose voice is that loud!
