Lu Wei has a train to catch and no umbrella. Jiang Ning has one umbrella — and one sentence left to say.

The door closes. Lu Wei walks out into the rain.
- Jiang Ning 他没有伞。我的伞还在门边。
Tā méiyǒu sǎn. Wǒ de sǎn hái zài mén biān.
He has no umbrella. Mine is still by the door.
- Lu Fang 你还在等什么？快去啊！
Nǐ hái zài děng shénme? Kuài qù a!
What are you waiting for? Go!
- Jiang Ning 我拿起伞，跑了出去。
Wǒ ná qǐ sǎn, pǎo le chūqù.
I grab the umbrella and run out after him.
- Jiang Ning 陆伟！等一下！
Lù Wěi! Děng yíxià!
Lu Wei! Wait!
- Jiang Ning 他回过头。雨很大，他的头发都湿了。
Tā huí guò tóu. Yǔ hěn dà, tā de tóufa dōu shī le.
He turns around. The rain is heavy, and his hair is soaked.
- Jiang Ning 你没有伞。拿我的吧。
Nǐ méiyǒu sǎn. Ná wǒ de ba.
You don't have an umbrella. Take mine.
- Lu Wei 那你怎么办？
Nà nǐ zěnme bàn?
But what about you?
- Jiang Ning 我不怕雨。我怕……我怕今天又说不出来。
Wǒ bú pà yǔ. Wǒ pà… wǒ pà jīntiān yòu shuō bù chūlái.
I'm not afraid of the rain. I'm afraid… I'm afraid I won't say it again today.
- Jiang Ning 我深深地吸了一口气。
Wǒ shēnshēn de xī le yì kǒu qì.
I take a deep breath.
- Jiang Ning 我喜欢星期四，因为星期四，我能见到你。
Wǒ xǐhuan xīngqīsì, yīnwèi xīngqīsì, wǒ néng jiàndào nǐ.
I love Thursdays. Because on Thursdays, I get to see you.
- Jiang Ning 他没有说话。雨下得很大，我的心跳得很快。
Tā méiyǒu shuōhuà. Yǔ xià de hěn dà, wǒ de xīn tiào de hěn kuài.
He says nothing. The rain pours down, and my heart is racing.
- Lu Wei 北京也有星期四。
Běijīng yě yǒu xīngqīsì.
Beijing has Thursdays too.
- Lu Wei 每个星期四，我给你打电话。我们一起喝茶，好吗？
Měi gè xīngqīsì, wǒ gěi nǐ dǎ diànhuà. Wǒmen yìqǐ hē chá, hǎo ma?
Every Thursday, I'll call you. We'll have tea together. Okay?

I'll borrow your umbrella for now. I promise I'll come back and return it.
- Jiang Ning 后来，每个星期四，我还是去那家小茶馆。
Hòulái, měi gè xīngqīsì, wǒ háishi qù nà jiā xiǎo cháguǎn.
After that, every Thursday, I still go to the little teahouse.
- Jiang Ning 我点两杯茶：一杯给我，一杯给手机里的他。
Wǒ diǎn liǎng bēi chá: yì bēi gěi wǒ, yì bēi gěi shǒujī lǐ de tā.
I order two cups: one for me, and one for him, on my phone screen.
- Jiang Ning 今天又是星期四，可是他没有打电话来。
Jīntiān yòu shì xīngqīsì, kěshì tā méiyǒu dǎ diànhuà lái.
Today is Thursday again, but he hasn't called.
- Jiang Ning 这时，门开了。外面在下雨。
Zhè shí, mén kāi le. Wàimiàn zài xià yǔ.
Just then, the door opens. It's raining outside.
- Lu Wei 江宁，我来还你的伞。
Jiāng Níng, wǒ lái huán nǐ de sǎn.
Jiang Ning. I've come to return your umbrella.
- Lu Wei 还有……第二杯茶，还是给我的吗？
Hái yǒu… dì èr bēi chá, háishi gěi wǒ de ma?
And… is the second cup still for me?
- Jiang Ning 一直都是。
Yìzhí dōu shì.
It always has been.
