Three days on, the seven dwarfs were still sitting by Snow White's bed.
- The Seventh Dwarf 那她要睡在哪儿？
Nà tā yào shuì zài nǎr?
Then where will she sleep?
- The First Dwarf 她死了。我们给她做一口棺材吧。
Tā sǐ le. Wǒmen gěi tā zuò yì kǒu guāncai ba.
She's dead. Let's make her a coffin.

It's dark inside a coffin too!
- The First Dwarf 玻璃棺材，里边不黑。我们在外边，也能看见她。
Bōli guāncai, lǐbian bù hēi. Wǒmen zài wàibian, yě néng kànjiàn tā.
A glass coffin isn't dark inside. And from outside, we can still see her.
- The Seventh Dwarf 玻璃的？那我们天天都能看见她了！
Bōli de? Nà wǒmen tiāntiān dōu néng kànjiàn tā le!
Glass? Then we can see her every day!
- Narrator 小矮人做了一口玻璃棺材，在上边写了金字。
Xiǎo'ǎirén zuò le yì kǒu bōli guāncai, zài shàngbian xiě le jīnzì.
The dwarfs made a glass coffin and wrote on it in gold letters.
- The Seventh Dwarf “白雪公主，国王的女儿。”她会喜欢吗？
“Báixuě gōngzhǔ, guówáng de nǚ'ér.” Tā huì xǐhuan ma?
"Snow White, a king's daughter." Would she like it?
- The First Dwarf 会的。你写的字很好看。
Huì de. Nǐ xiě de zì hěn hǎokàn.
She would. Your letters are beautiful.
- The Seventh Dwarf 山上很冷，也没有人……她要一个人在这儿吗？
Shān shang hěn lěng, yě méiyǒu rén… tā yào yí gè rén zài zhèr ma?
It's cold up on the mountain, and there's no one here... Does she have to stay here all alone?
- The First Dwarf 不。我们七个，天天都有一个在这儿。
Bù. Wǒmen qī gè, tiāntiān dōu yǒu yí gè zài zhèr.
No. Every day, one of the seven of us will be here.
- The Seventh Dwarf 白雪公主，现在你不是一个人了。
Báixuě gōngzhǔ, xiànzài nǐ bú shì yí gè rén le.
Snow White, now you're not alone.
- The First Dwarf 你听……是鸟。一只，两只，三只。
Nǐ tīng… shì niǎo. Yì zhī, liǎng zhī, sān zhī.
Listen... birds. One, two, three.
- The Seventh Dwarf 它们也在哭！
Tāmen yě zài kū!
They're crying too!
- The First Dwarf 森林里的鸟，也爱白雪公主。
Sēnlín li de niǎo, yě ài Báixuě gōngzhǔ.
The birds of the forest love Snow White too.
- Narrator 一年，两年，很多年。白雪公主还在棺材里。
Yì nián, liǎng nián, hěn duō nián. Báixuě gōngzhǔ hái zài guāncai li.
One year, two years, many years. Snow White still lay in the coffin.
- The First Dwarf 我们都老了。她呢？一点儿也没有老。
Wǒmen dōu lǎo le. Tā ne? Yìdiǎnr yě méiyǒu lǎo.
We've all grown old. And her? She hasn't aged a bit.
- The Seventh Dwarf 她还是白白的像雪，红红的像血，黑黑的像乌木。
Tā háishi báibái de xiàng xuě, hónghóng de xiàng xuè, hēihēi de xiàng wūmù.
She's still white as snow, red as blood, black as ebony.
- The First Dwarf 对。她像一个在睡觉的姑娘。
Duì. Tā xiàng yí gè zài shuìjiào de gūniang.
Yes. She looks like a young woman asleep.
- The Seventh Dwarf 白雪公主，你什么时候醒？我们做的饭，都不好吃！
Báixuě gōngzhǔ, nǐ shénme shíhou xǐng? Wǒmen zuò de fàn, dōu bù hǎochī!
Snow White, when will you wake up? Nothing we cook tastes good!
- The First Dwarf 今天的饭，是我做的。
Jīntiān de fàn, shì wǒ zuò de.
I made today's meal.
- The Seventh Dwarf 我知道。你做的，最不好吃！
Wǒ zhīdào. Nǐ zuò de, zuì bù hǎochī!
I know. Yours is the worst!
- Narrator 一天晚上，一个国王的儿子来到了森林里。
Yì tiān wǎnshang, yí gè guówáng de érzi lái dào le sēnlín li.
One evening, a king's son came into the forest.
- The Seventh Dwarf 有人在门外！晚上了，谁会来这儿？
Yǒu rén zài mén wài! Wǎnshang le, shéi huì lái zhèr?
Someone's at the door! It's night. Who would come here?
- The First Dwarf 我看看……他的衣服很漂亮。
Wǒ kànkan… tā de yīfu hěn piàoliang.
Let me look... his clothes are very fine.
- The Seventh Dwarf 王宫里的人？是王后叫他来的吗？不要给他开门！
Wánggōng li de rén? Shì wánghòu jiào tā lái de ma? Bú yào gěi tā kāi mén!
Someone from the palace? Did the Queen send him? Don't open the door to him!
- The First Dwarf 您是谁？这么晚了，来我们这儿做什么？
Nín shì shéi? Zhème wǎn le, lái wǒmen zhèr zuò shénme?
Who are you? What do you want here at this hour?
