There's bread, rice, meat, and lots of money too!

Two robbers are sitting at the table! They're eating and laughing!
- Dahuang 我好饿啊！我想吃那些肉，我要吃很多！
Wǒ hǎo è a! Wǒ xiǎng chī nàxiē ròu, wǒ yào chī hěn duō!
I'm so hungry! I want to eat that meat, lots of it!
- Dahong 可是强盗有刀，我们怎么办？
Kěshì qiángdào yǒu dāo, wǒmen zěnme bàn?
But the robbers have knives. What do we do?
- Dahuang 我们只有四个，他们也有刀。我怕。
Wǒmen zhǐyǒu sì gè, tāmen yě yǒu dāo. Wǒ pà.
There are only four of us, and they have knives. I'm scared.
- Old Donkey 我有一个办法！我们来开音乐会！
Wǒ yǒu yí gè bànfǎ! Wǒmen lái kāi yīnyuèhuì!
I have an idea! Let's give a concert!
- Dahong 音乐会？现在？给谁听？
Yīnyuèhuì? Xiànzài? Gěi shéi tīng?
A concert? Now? Who's it for?
- Old Donkey 给强盗听！我们一起唱歌，他们一定会怕！
Gěi qiángdào tīng! Wǒmen yìqǐ chànggē, tāmen yídìng huì pà!
For the robbers! If we sing together, they'll be scared for sure!
- Old Donkey 来，大黄，你站到我上边来！
Lái, Dà Huáng, nǐ zhàn dào wǒ shàngbian lái!
Come on, Dahuang, climb up on top of me!
- Old Donkey 咪咪，你站在大黄上边！
Mīmi, nǐ zhàn zài Dà Huáng shàngbian!
Mimi, you stand on top of Dahuang!
- Mimi 好高啊！我有点儿怕。喵……
Hǎo gāo a! Wǒ yǒudiǎnr pà. Miāo…
It's so high! I'm a little scared. Meow...
- Old Donkey 大红，你最小，你站在最上边！
Dà Hóng, nǐ zuì xiǎo, nǐ zhàn zài zuì shàngbian!
Dahong, you're the smallest. You stand at the very top!
- Dahong 我看到强盗了！大家都准备好了吗？
Wǒ kàndào qiángdào le! Dàjiā dōu zhǔnbèi hǎo le ma?
I can see the robbers! Is everybody ready?

Yī, èr, sān! Chàng!
One, two, three! Sing!

- Robber Boss 快，快，跑进森林！

Quick, quick, run into the forest!
- Dahuang 强盗都跑了！我们的音乐会太好了！
Qiángdào dōu pǎo le! Wǒmen de yīnyuèhuì tài hǎo le!
The robbers all ran away! Our concert was fantastic!
- Mimi 他们说这里有鬼！真好笑！
Tāmen shuō zhèlǐ yǒu guǐ! Zhēn hǎoxiào!
They said there's a ghost here! That's so funny!
- Old Donkey 来，坐下！我们吃饭吧！
Lái, zuò xià! Wǒmen chīfàn ba!
Come on, sit down! Let's eat!
- Dahuang 太好吃了！我最爱吃肉，我还要吃！
Tài hǎochī le! Wǒ zuì ài chī ròu, wǒ hái yào chī!
So yummy! I love meat the most, and I want more!
- Mimi 我吃面包，我还要吃鱼。
Wǒ chī miànbāo, wǒ hái yào chī yú.
I'll have bread, and I want fish too.
- Old Donkey 我吃好了。我好累，我们去睡觉吧。
Wǒ chī hǎo le. Wǒ hǎo lèi, wǒmen qù shuìjiào ba.
I'm done eating. I'm so tired. Let's go to sleep.
- Narrator 灯关了。驴、狗、猫和公鸡都睡了。
Dēng guān le. Lǘ, gǒu, māo hé gōngjī dōu shuì le.
The lights went out. The donkey, dog, cat and rooster were all asleep.
- Mimi 小声点！你们听！有人来了！
Xiǎoshēng diǎn! Nǐmen tīng! Yǒu rén lái le!
