On the hottest day of the summer, Tom drives Gatsby's yellow car to town, and a stop for gas brings news he didn't want to hear.

Mr. Buchanan, my car... hasn't got much gas left.
- Tom Buchanan 油多着呢！放心吧。

There's plenty of gas! Don't worry.
- Daisy Buchanan 杰伊，我跟你走！汤姆，你带尼克和乔丹去吧。

Jay, I'll go with you! Tom, you take Nick and Jordan.

The two cars took the main road. Tom drove the yellow car, and he drove fast.

Wilson's face is gray, as if he's been sick for days.

Yes, sick. Mr. Buchanan, I'm going away. I'm taking my wife out West.

I only found out these last two days: she has another man somewhere. Who he is, I don't know yet.
