At the Van Tassel harvest party Ichabod eats, dances and hears ghost stories by the fire, and then has to ride home the very way Brom warned him about.

Welcome, welcome! Eat, everyone, drink! Autumn has everything!
- Ichabod Crane 天啊……这么多吃的！鸡，猪，派，苹果……这是真的吗？
Tiān a… zhème duō chī de! Jī, zhū, pài, píngguǒ… zhè shì zhēnde ma?
My goodness… so much food! Chicken, pork, pie, apples… is this real?

Hā hā! Kèlán lǎoshī, màn yìdiǎn chī! Hòumiàn háiyǒu hěn duō!
Ha ha! Teacher Crane, slow down! There's plenty more!
- Ichabod Crane 我还想吃派！不，再来两块！
Wǒ hái xiǎng chī pài! Bú, zài lái liǎng kuài!
I want more pie! No, two more pieces!
- Katrina Van Tassel 克兰先生，吃好了吗？来，我们去跳舞！
Kèlán xiānsheng, chī hǎo le ma? Lái, wǒmen qù tiàowǔ!
Mr. Crane, have you had enough? Come, let's dance!
- Ichabod Crane 跳舞？可是……我的腿太长了。
Tiàowǔ? Kěshì… wǒ de tuǐ tài cháng le.
Dance? But… my legs are too long.
- Katrina Van Tassel 没关系！腿长，跳得高！
Méiguānxi! Tuǐ cháng, tiào de gāo!
Never mind! Long legs jump high!
- Ichabod Crane 一，二，三……啊！对不起！我的脚！
Yí, èr, sān… a! Duìbùqǐ! Wǒ de jiǎo!
One, two, three… ow! I'm sorry! My feet!
- Katrina Van Tassel 哈哈哈！克兰先生，你跳得像一只大鸟！
Hā hā hā! Kèlán xiānsheng, nǐ tiào de xiàng yì zhī dà niǎo!
Ha ha ha! Mr. Crane, you dance like a big bird!
- Brom Bones 那个瘦老师，在和卡特里娜跳舞！我要让他怕一怕。
Nà ge shòu lǎoshī, zài hé Kǎtèlǐnà tiàowǔ! Wǒ yào ràng tā pà yí pà.
That skinny teacher, dancing with Katrina! I'll give him a good scare.
- Narrator 很晚了。大家坐在火边，说起了鬼的故事。
Hěn wǎn le. Dàjiā zuò zài huǒ biān, shuō qǐ le guǐ de gùshi.
It grew late. Everyone sat by the fire and began to tell ghost stories.
- Old Grandmother 你们知道吗？在睡谷的桥边，有一位没有头的骑士。
Nǐmen zhīdào ma? Zài Shuì Gǔ de qiáo biān, yǒu yí wèi méiyǒu tóu de qíshì.
Do you know? Near the bridge in Sleepy Hollow, there is a rider with no head.
- Ichabod Crane 没有头……那他怎么看路？
Méiyǒu tóu… nà tā zěnme kàn lù?
No head… then how does he see the road?
- Old Grandmother 他不用看，孩子。他的马认识路。
Tā búyòng kàn, háizi. Tā de mǎ rènshi lù.
He doesn't need to see, child. His horse knows the way.
- Old Grandmother 很多年以前，他在一场大战里，丢了头。
Hěn duō nián yǐqián, tā zài yì cháng dà zhàn lǐ, diū le tóu.
Many years ago, he lost his head in a great battle.
- Old Grandmother 现在，他每天半夜骑着黑马，回来找他的头。
Xiànzài, tā měi tiān bànyè qí zhe hēi mǎ, huílái zhǎo tā de tóu.
Now every night at midnight he rides a black horse back to look for it.
- Ichabod Crane 找……找到了吗？
Zhǎo… zhǎodào le ma?
D-did he find it?
- Old Grandmother 没有。所以，他还在找……
Méiyǒu. Suǒyǐ, tā hái zài zhǎo…
No. So he is still looking…
- Brom Bones 哈哈！我不怕他！我还和他比过马呢！
Hā hā! Wǒ bú pà tā! Wǒ hái hé tā bǐ guò mǎ ne!
Ha ha! I'm not afraid of him! I even raced him once!
- Ichabod Crane 真的？你赢了吗？
Zhēnde? Nǐ yíng le ma?
Really? Did you win?
- Brom Bones 差一点！他的马跑得很快，我的马也很快！
Chà yìdiǎn! Tā de mǎ pǎo de hěn kuài, wǒ de mǎ yě hěn kuài!
Almost! His horse ran fast, but my horse ran fast too!
- Brom Bones 到了桥边，他不见了！只有一团火！
Dào le qiáo biān, tā bújiàn le! Zhǐyǒu yì tuán huǒ!
At the bridge, he vanished! There was only a ball of fire!
- Ichabod Crane 桥……哪一座桥？
Qiáo… nǎ yí zuò qiáo?
The bridge… which bridge?
- Brom Bones 教堂旁边的桥。老师，你回家，就要过那座桥。
Jiàotáng pángbiān de qiáo. Lǎoshī, nǐ huíjiā, jiùyào guò nà zuò qiáo.
The one by the church. Teacher, you'll have to cross that bridge to go home.
- Narrator 客人们都回家了。克兰老师留了下来，想和卡特里娜说话。
Kèrénmen dōu huíjiā le. Kèlán lǎoshī liú le xiàlái, xiǎng hé Kǎtèlǐnà shuōhuà.
The guests went home. Teacher Crane stayed behind, hoping to talk to Katrina.
- Ichabod Crane 卡特里娜小姐……我想问你一件事。
Kǎtèlǐnà xiǎojie… wǒ xiǎng wèn nǐ yí jiàn shì.
Miss Katrina… I'd like to ask you something.
- Katrina Van Tassel 克兰先生，很晚了。你回家吧。
Kèlán xiānsheng, hěn wǎn le. Nǐ huíjiā ba.
Mr. Crane, it's very late. Go home.
- Ichabod Crane 她不喜欢我……我的鸡，我的猪，我的钱……都没有了！
Tā bù xǐhuan wǒ… wǒ de jī, wǒ de zhū, wǒ de qián… dōu méiyǒu le!
She doesn't like me… my chickens, my pigs, my money… all gone!
- Ichabod Crane 回家，要过那座桥……半夜，一个人！
Huíjiā, yào guò nà zuò qiáo… bànyè, yí gè rén!
Going home means crossing that bridge… at midnight, alone!
- Ichabod Crane 老马，我们……慢慢走吧。
Lǎo mǎ, wǒmen… mànmàn zǒu ba.
Old horse, let's… go slowly.
