Up on the roof, Father Mouse asks the sleepy Cloud and then the boastful Wind to marry Mimi, and their answers lead somewhere nobody expected.

- Father Mouse 那您一定是最厉害的！我的女儿米米，嫁给您，好不好？
Nà nín yídìng shì zuì lìhai de! Wǒ de nǚ'ér Mǐmǐ, jià gěi nín, hǎo bù hǎo?
Then you must be the strongest of all! Would you like to marry my daughter Mimi?
- Mimi 嫁给云？他天天睡觉，我天天等他起床吗？
Jià gěi yún? Tā tiāntiān shuìjiào, wǒ tiāntiān děng tā qǐchuáng ma?
Marry a cloud? He sleeps all day! Do I just wait around every day for him to wake up?
- Mr. Cloud 嫁给我？不行，不行……我不是最厉害的。
Jià gěi wǒ? Bù xíng, bù xíng… wǒ bú shì zuì lìhai de.
Marry me? Oh no, no... I'm not the strongest.
- Father Mouse 又不是？那谁最厉害？
Yòu bú shì? Nà shéi zuì lìhai?
Not you either? Then who is the strongest?
- Mr. Cloud 风。风让我去哪儿，我就得去哪儿。
Fēng. Fēng ràng wǒ qù nǎr, wǒ jiù děi qù nǎr.
The Wind. Wherever the Wind wants me to go, that's where I have to go.
- Narrator 这时候，大风来了。房子上的小草都在动。

Just then, a big wind came up, and all the little tufts of grass on the roof began to sway.
- Mr. Wind 呼——我来了！谁在说我？
Hū — wǒ lái le! Shéi zài shuō wǒ?
Whoooosh! Here I am! Who's talking about me?
- Mr. Cloud 你们看，我说得对吧？再见了！
Nǐmen kàn, wǒ shuō de duì ba? Zàijiàn le!
See? Didn't I tell you? Goodbye!
- Mimi 云先生，您慢走！
Yún xiānsheng, nín màn zǒu!
Goodbye, Mr. Cloud! Take it slow!
- Father Mouse 太阳怕云，云怕风……那风一定最厉害！
Tàiyáng pà yún, yún pà fēng… nà fēng yídìng zuì lìhai!
The Sun is afraid of the Cloud, and the Cloud is afraid of the Wind... so the Wind must be the strongest!
- Mimi 太阳、云、风……我都不想嫁。我只想嫁给阿灰。
Tàiyáng, yún, fēng… wǒ dōu bù xiǎng jià. Wǒ zhǐ xiǎng jià gěi Ā Huī.
The Sun, the Cloud, the Wind... I don't want to marry any of them. I only want to marry Ah Hui.

Hello, Mr. Wind! You're even stronger than the Cloud!
- Mr. Wind 那还用说！我能吹走白云，吹倒大树！
Nà hái yòng shuō! Wǒ néng chuīzǒu báiyún, chuīdǎo dà shù!
That goes without saying! I can blow away clouds and knock down big trees!
- Mr. Wind 我还能吹走两只小老鼠！要不要看看？
Wǒ hái néng chuīzǒu liǎng zhī xiǎo lǎoshǔ! Yào bú yào kànkan?
I can even blow away two little mice! Want to see?
- Father Mouse 不要，不要！我们不想飞！
Bú yào, bú yào! Wǒmen bù xiǎng fēi!
No, no, no! We don't want to fly!
- Mimi 爸爸，你的胡子都飞起来了！
