冬天不走
Snow, Frost, North Wind and Hail move into the giant's garden, and spring stays away. Then one morning the giant hears a bird.

Bié de dìfang yǒu huā, yǒu niǎo. Jùrén de huāyuán háishi dōngtiān.
Elsewhere there were flowers and birds. The giant's garden was still winter.
- Snow 我是雪！春天忘了这儿！这里永远是冬天！
Wǒ shì xuě! Chūntiān wàng le zhèr! Zhèlǐ yǒngyuǎn shì dōngtiān!
I'm Snow! Spring forgot this place! It will be winter here forever!
- Frost 我是霜！我来画树，画草！都是白色的！
Wǒ shì shuāng! Wǒ lái huà shù, huà cǎo! Dōu shì báisè de!
I'm Frost! I'll paint the trees and the grass! All of it white!

This garden is so big! The wind can run so fast!
- Hail 我也来了！我是冰雹！我要打巨人的房子！
Wǒ yě lái le! Wǒ shì bīngbáo! Wǒ yào dǎ jùrén de fángzi!
I'm here too! I'm Hail! I'm going to bang on the giant's house!
- Snow 北风，你的风太冷了！冬天真好！我喜欢！
Běifēng, nǐ de fēng tài lěng le! Dōngtiān zhēn hǎo! Wǒ xǐhuan!
North Wind, your wind is so cold! Winter is wonderful! I love it!
- Snow 冰雹，你小声一点儿！巨人在睡觉。
Bīngbáo, nǐ xiǎo shēng yìdiǎnr! Jùrén zài shuìjiào.
Hail, be quieter! The giant is sleeping.
- Hail 不！我要大声！啪！啪！啪！
Bù! Wǒ yào dàshēng! Pā! Pā! Pā!
No! I want to be loud! Bang! Bang! Bang!
- The Giant 你看，树都白了。都是霜！冰雹又来了！
Nǐ kàn, shù dōu bái le. Dōu shì shuāng! Bīngbáo yòu lái le!
Look, all the trees are white. That is Frost! And Hail is back again!
- The Giant 春天为什么还不来？
Chūntiān wèishénme hái bù lái?
Why doesn't spring come yet?
- The Giant 我的花园这么冷！
Wǒ de huāyuán zhème lěng!
My garden is so cold!
- Frost 春天不喜欢你。你没有孩子。
Chūntiān bù xǐhuan nǐ. Nǐ méiyǒu háizi.
Spring doesn't like you. You have no children.
- Narrator 一天早上，巨人在床上，听到了什么。
Yì tiān zǎoshang, jùrén zài chuáng shàng, tīngdào le shénme.
One morning, the giant lay in bed and heard something.
- The Giant 什么声音？真好听！
Shénme shēngyīn? Zhēn hǎotīng!
What's that sound? So lovely!
- The Giant 是一只小鸟！春天来了吗？
Shì yì zhī xiǎo niǎo! Chūntiān lái le ma?
It's a little bird! Has spring come?
- The Giant 我要看看！
Wǒ yào kànkan!
I must see!
- The Giant 啊！孩子们！他们从墙里进来了！
Ā! Háizimen! Tāmen cóng qiáng lǐ jìnlái le!
Ah! The children! They came in through the wall!
- The Girl 巨人不在！我们上树吧！
Jùrén bú zài! Wǒmen shàng shù ba!
The giant isn't here! Let's climb the trees!
- The Giant 树开花了！鸟也来了！
Shù kāi huā le! Niǎo yě lái le!
The trees are blooming! And the birds are back!
- The Giant 孩子来了，春天就来了。
Háizi lái le, chūntiān jiù lái le.
When the children came, spring came.
- The Giant 可是那边……为什么还有雪？
Kěshì nàbiān… wèishénme hái yǒu xuě?
But over there... why is there still snow?
- The Little Boy 我上不去。我太小了。
Wǒ shàng bú qù. Wǒ tài xiǎo le.
I can't get up. I'm too small.
- The Little Boy 树好高……我想上去。
Shù hǎo gāo… wǒ xiǎng shàngqù.
The tree is so tall... I want to go up.
- The Giant 那个小孩在哭。他上不去树。
Nàge xiǎohái zài kū. Tā shàng bú qù shù.
That little boy is crying. He can't climb the tree.
- The Giant 我以前太自私了。我不让孩子进来。
Wǒ yǐqián tài zìsī le. Wǒ bú ràng háizi jìnlái.
I was so selfish before. I wouldn't let the children in.
- The Giant 我真自私！我错了。我现在就去帮他！
Wǒ zhēn zìsī! Wǒ cuò le. Wǒ xiànzài jiù qù bāng tā!
How selfish I was! I was wrong. I'm going to help him right now!
