Mother Goat had seven little kids. Today, she had to go out shopping.
- Mother Goat 孩子们，我要出去了。谁来也别开门！
Háizimen, wǒ yào chūqù le. Shéi lái yě bié kāi mén!
Children, I'm going out. Don't open the door for anyone!
- Mother Goat 山上有一只大狼。他很想吃你们！
Shān shàng yǒu yì zhī dà láng. Tā hěn xiǎng chī nǐmen!
There's a big wolf on the mountain. He would love to eat you!
- Xiaoqi 妈妈，狼是什么样子的？他很大吗？
Māma, láng shì shénme yàngzi de? Tā hěn dà ma?
Mama, what does a wolf look like? Is he big?
- Mother Goat 他很大，也很黑。他的声音很大很大。
Tā hěn dà, yě hěn hēi. Tā de shēngyīn hěn dà hěn dà.
He's big and dark. His voice is very, very loud.
- Mother Goat 他的手也是黑的。开门以前，先看手！
Tā de shǒu yě shì hēi de. Kāi mén yǐqián, xiān kàn shǒu!
His paw is black too. Before you open the door, look at the paw first!
- Dabai 妈妈，好。我们一定不开门。
Māma, hǎo. Wǒmen yídìng bù kāi mén.
Okay, Mama. We definitely won't open the door.
- Xiaohua 谁来都不开！我们才不怕狼呢！
Shéi lái dōu bù kāi! Wǒmen cái bú pà láng ne!
We won't open for anyone! We're not afraid of wolves at all!
- Mother Goat 好孩子们。再见！我很快就回来。

- The Wolf 白粉笔，真难吃……可是我的声音会变小。

Mama's paw is white. You're not Mama!
- Xiaohua 你在窗户外面！你是狼！我们不开门！
Nǐ zài chuānghu wàimiàn! Nǐ shì láng! Wǒmen bù kāi mén!
You're outside the window! You're the wolf! We won't open the door!
- Xiaoqi 啊！是狼！哥哥，我们怎么办？
À! Shì láng! Gēge, wǒmen zěnme bàn?
Ah! It's the wolf! Big brother, what do we do?
- Dabai 别怕。门不开，他就进不来。
Bié pà. Mén bù kāi, tā jiù jìn bù lái.
Don't be scared. If the door stays shut, he can't get in.
- The Wolf 好，你们等着。我去买面粉！
Hǎo, nǐmen děng zhe. Wǒ qù mǎi miànfěn!
