In a snowstorm Liu Bei makes his second trip to Longzhong. He bows to the wrong man, meets the wrong man again, and the Sleeping Dragon is still not at home.

Dōngtiān dào le. Xuě xià le sān tiān. Liú Bèi yòu qù zhǎo Wòlóng.
Winter came. It snowed for three days. Liu Bei went to look for the Sleeping Dragon again.
- Zhang Fei 好冷啊！我的胡子变成冰了！
Hǎo lěng a! Wǒ de húzi biànchéng bīng le!
So cold! My beard has turned to ice!
- Guan Yu 三弟，别说话。雪会跑进你的嘴。
Sān dì, bié shuōhuà. Xuě huì pǎo jìn nǐ de zuǐ.
Third Brother, don't talk. The snow will get into your mouth.

Big Brother, why do you have to go find him? He should come see you!
- Liu Bei 三弟，他不是我的兵。我是去请他，不是叫他。
Sān dì, tā bú shì wǒ de bīng. Wǒ shì qù qǐng tā, búshì jiào tā.
Third Brother, he isn't my soldier. I am going to ask him, not order him.
- Zhang Fei 请他？要是我大叫三声，他就出来了！我的声音很大！
Qǐng tā? Yàoshì wǒ dà jiào sān shēng, tā jiù chūlái le! Wǒ de shēngyīn hěn dà!
Ask him? If I shout three times, he'll come out!
- Guan Yu 你一叫，山上的雪会掉下来。
Nǐ yí jiào, shān shàng de xuě huì diào xiàlái.
If you shout, the snow on the mountain will fall down.
- Liu Bei 你们看！前面有一座小桥。桥上有一个人！
Nǐmen kàn! Qiánmiàn yǒu yí zuò xiǎo qiáo. Qiáo shàng yǒu yí gè rén!
Look! There's a little bridge ahead. And a man on the bridge!
- Liu Bei 他在雪里走路，还在读书。一定是先生！
Tā zài xuě lǐ zǒulù, hái zài dú shū. Yídìng shì xiānshēng!
He's walking in the snow and reading a book. It must be the master!
- Liu Bei 诸葛先生！我是刘备！我来了第二次！
Zhūgě xiānshēng! Wǒ shì Liú Bèi! Wǒ lái le dì'èr cì!
Master Zhuge! I am Liu Bei! This is my second visit!
- Old Scholar 我不姓诸葛，我姓黄。你找我的女儿的丈夫吗？
Wǒ bú xìng Zhūgě, wǒ xìng Huáng. Nǐ zhǎo wǒ de nǚ'ér de zhàngfū ma?
I'm not named Zhuge, I'm named Huang. Are you looking for my daughter's husband?
- Liu Bei 啊？你是……他太太的爸爸？
A? Nǐ shì … Tā tàitài de bàbà?
Oh? So you are... his wife's father?
- Zhang Fei 哈哈哈！大哥认错人了！这是第一次！
Hāhāhā! Dàgē rèn cuò rén le! Zhè shì dìyī cì!
Ha ha ha! Big Brother got the wrong man!
- Old Scholar 他在哪儿，我也不知道。你们去他家看看吧，就在前面。
Tā zài nǎr, wǒ yě bù zhīdào. Nǐmen qù tā jiā kànkàn ba, jiù zài qiánmiàn.
Where he is, I don't know either. Go to his house and see.
- Liu Bei 诸葛先生在家吗？我是刘备！
Zhūgě xiānshēng zài jiā ma? Wǒ shì Liú Bèi!
Is Master Zhuge at home? I am Liu Bei!
- Zhuge Jun 你好，刘将军。我是他的弟弟诸葛均。
Nǐ hǎo, Liú jiāngjūn. Wǒ shì tā de dìdi Zhūgě Jūn.
Hello, General Liu. I am his younger brother, Zhuge Jun.
- Liu Bei 你是……弟弟？又认错了。你哥哥呢？
Nǐ shì … Dìdi? Yòu rèn cuò le. Nǐ gēgē ne?
You are... the brother? Wrong again. Where is your brother?
- Zhuge Jun 他昨天和朋友出去玩了。他常常坐船去湖上。
Tā zuótiān hé péngyǒu chūqù wán le. Tā chángcháng zuò chuán qù hú shàng.
He went out yesterday to play with friends. He often goes out on the lake by boat.
- Zhang Fei 又出去了！他一定在玩我们！
Yòu chūqù le! Tā yí dìng zài wán wǒmen!
Out again! He must be playing games with us!
- Liu Bei 三弟，别这样。请给我一支笔和一张纸。
Sān dì, bié zhèyàng. Qǐng gěi wǒ yì zhī bǐ hé yì zhāng zhǐ.
Third Brother, don't. Please give me a brush and a piece of paper.
- Liu Bei 诸葛先生：我是刘备。天下很乱，百姓很苦。请你来帮我。
Zhūgě xiānshēng: wǒ shì Liú Bèi. Tiānxià hěn luàn, bǎixìng hěn kǔ. Qǐng nǐ lái bāng wǒ.
Master Zhuge: I am Liu Bei. The land is in chaos and the people suffer. Please come and help me.
- Zhuge Jun 我会给我哥哥。他看到一定高兴。
Wǒ huì gěi wǒ gēgē. Tā kàn dào yídìng gāoxìng.
I'll give it to my brother. He'll surely be happy to see it.
- Guan Yu 大哥，天快黑了。雪也越来越大了，我们回去吧。
Dàgē, tiān kuài hēi le. Xuě yě yuèláiyuè dà le, wǒmen huíqù ba.
Big Brother, it's getting dark. The snow is heavier and heavier. Let's go back.
- Zhang Fei 大哥，你不会还要再来吧？
Dàgē, nǐ bú huì hái yào zài lái ba?
Big Brother, you're not coming back again, are you?
- Liu Bei 会。春天我们再来。这次我要先洗澡，三天不吃肉。
Huì. Chūntiān wǒmen zài lái. Zhè cì wǒ yào xiān xǐzǎo, sān tiān bù chī ròu.
I will. We come again in spring. This time I'll bathe first, and eat no meat for three days.
- Zhang Fei 三天不吃肉？！大哥，那我不去了！
Sān tiān bù chī ròu?! Dàgē, nà wǒ bú qù le!
No meat for three days?! Big Brother, then I'm not going!
- Liu Bei 三弟，你可以吃肉。我一个人也会去。
Sān dì, nǐ kěyǐ chī ròu. Wǒ yí gè rén yě huì qù.
Third Brother, you may eat meat. I will go alone if I must.
- Guan Yu 我陪大哥。三弟也会来的。
Wǒ péi dàgē. Sān dì yě huì lái de.
I will go with Big Brother. Third Brother will come too.
- Liu Bei 第三次，我一定要见到他。
Dìsān cì, wǒ yídìng yào jiàn dào tā.
