A hundred thousand villagers follow Liu Bei toward safety, but dust is rising behind them. Zhao Yun promises to guard Lady Mi and baby A Dou.

Cáo Cāo de dàbīng zài hòumiàn zhuī, Liú Bèi dàizhe shí wàn bǎixìng, mànmàn zǒuxiàng Jiānglíng.
Cao Cao's army was chasing them from behind, while Liu Bei led a hundred thousand villagers slowly toward Jiangling.
- Zhang Fei 大哥，我们走得太慢了！曹操的马跑得那么快，我们的车走得比老牛还慢！
Dàgē, wǒmen zǒu de tài màn le! Cáo Cāo de mǎ pǎo de nàme kuài, wǒmen de chē zǒu de bǐ lǎo niú hái màn!
Big Brother, we're too slow! Cao Cao's horses run so fast, and our carts are slower than an old ox!
- Liu Bei 三弟，你肩上坐着一个小孩子，他是谁家的孩子呀？
Sān dì, nǐ jiān shàng zuòzhe yí gè xiǎo háizi, tā shì shéi jiā de háizi ya?
Third Brother, there's a little child sitting on your shoulders. Whose child is he?
- Zhang Fei 我不知道！他自己爬上来的，还一直拉我的胡子！哎哟，别拉了！
Wǒ bù zhīdào! Tā zìjǐ pá shànglái de, hái yìzhí lā wǒ de húzi! Āiyō, bié lā le!
I don't know! He climbed up by himself, and he keeps pulling my beard! Ow, stop that!
- Liu Bei 这些百姓跟着我们，我不能丢下他们。没有他们，我要一座城做什么呢？
Zhèxiē bǎixìng gēnzhe wǒmen, wǒ bù néng diūxià tāmen. Méiyǒu tāmen, wǒ yào yí zuò chéng zuò shénme ne?
These people are following us, and I can't leave them behind. Without them, what would I do with a city?
- Zhang Fei 可是大哥，他们走得这么慢，曹操的马一下子就追上来了！
Kěshì dàgē, tāmen zǒu de zhème màn, Cáo Cāo de mǎ yíxiàzi jiù zhuī shànglái le!
But Big Brother, they walk so slowly that Cao Cao's horses will catch up in no time!
- Liu Bei 老牛也能走到江陵。我们慢一点没关系，可是不能丢下一个百姓。
Lǎo niú yě néng zǒudào Jiānglíng. Wǒmen màn yìdiǎn méi guānxi, kěshì bù néng diūxià yí gè bǎixìng.
Even an old ox can walk to Jiangling. Going slowly is fine, but we won't leave a single person behind.
- Zhang Fei 好吧好吧！那我背着这个小胖子，一起慢慢地走！
Hǎo ba hǎo ba! Nà wǒ bēizhe zhège xiǎo pàngzi, yìqǐ mànmàn de zǒu!
Fine, fine! Then I'll carry this little chubby one, and we'll all go slowly together!
- Zhao Yun 主公！后面有很大的灰尘，是曹操的马队追上来了！
Zhǔgōng! Hòumiàn yǒu hěn dà de huīchén, shì Cáo Cāo de mǎduì zhuī shànglái le!
My lord! There's a huge cloud of dust behind us. It's Cao Cao's cavalry catching up!
- Zhang Fei 什么？他们怎么这么快就来了？
Shénme? Tāmen zěnme zhème kuài jiù lái le?
What? How are they here so fast?
- Zhao Yun 天黑以前，他们就会追到这里。我们一定要走快一点。
Tiān hēi yǐqián, tāmen jiù huì zhuīdào zhèlǐ. Wǒmen yídìng yào zǒu kuài yìdiǎn.
Before dark, they'll catch up with us here. We must move faster.
- Liu Bei 好，请大家走快一点。子龙，夫人和阿斗现在在哪儿？
Hǎo, qǐng dàjiā zǒu kuài yìdiǎn. Zǐlóng, fūrén hé Ā Dǒu xiànzài zài nǎr?
All right, let's ask everyone to hurry. Zilong, where are my wife and A Dou now?
- Zhao Yun 他们坐在后面的车上。我现在就去守着他们。
Tāmen zuò zài hòumiàn de chē shàng. Wǒ xiànzài jiù qù shǒuzhe tāmen.
They're on the cart at the back. I'll go and guard them right now.
- Liu Bei 子龙，我把夫人和孩子，都交给你了。
Zǐlóng, wǒ bǎ fūrén hé háizi, dōu jiāo gěi nǐ le.
Zilong, I'm putting my wife and child in your hands.
- Zhao Yun 主公放心，只要我还在，他们就一定平安。
Zhǔgōng fàngxīn, zhǐyào wǒ hái zài, tāmen jiù yídìng píng'ān.
Don't worry, my lord. As long as I'm here, they will be safe.
- Zhang Fei 还有我！谁敢来，我就大吼一声，把他们全都吓跑！
Hái yǒu wǒ! Shéi gǎn lái, wǒ jiù dà hǒu yì shēng, bǎ tāmen quán dōu xiàpǎo!
And me too! Anyone who dares to come, I'll give one big roar and scare them all away!
- Lady Mi 子龙将军，你在这里站了一整天，请坐下来休息一会儿吧。
Zǐlóng jiāngjūn, nǐ zài zhèlǐ zhàn le yì zhěng tiān, qǐng zuò xiàlái xiūxi yíhuìr ba.
General Zilong, you've been standing here all day. Please sit down and rest for a while.
- Zhao Yun 夫人，我一点儿也不累。您和公子睡一会儿吧。
Fūrén, wǒ yìdiǎnr yě bú lèi. Nín hé gōngzǐ shuì yíhuìr ba.
My lady, I'm not tired at all. You and the young master should rest.
- Lady Mi 阿斗睡得可香了，他什么都不怕，睡得比谁都香。
Ā Dǒu shuì de kě xiāng le, tā shénme dōu bú pà, shuì de bǐ shéi dōu xiāng.
A Dou is sleeping so soundly. He's afraid of nothing, and he sleeps better than anyone.
- Zhao Yun 夫人，请您往后面看。那些灰尘越来越高，越来越近了。
Fūrén, qǐng nín wǎng hòumiàn kàn. Nàxiē huīchén yuè lái yuè gāo, yuè lái yuè jìn le.
My lady, please look behind us. That dust is getting higher and closer.
- Lady Mi 那是……曹操的马又追上来了吗？
Nà shì… Cáo Cāo de mǎ yòu zhuī shànglái le ma?
Is that… Cao Cao's horses catching up again?
- Zhao Yun 别怕，夫人。我的枪在这里，谁也不能过来。
Bié pà, fūrén. Wǒ de qiāng zài zhèlǐ, shéi yě bù néng guòlái.
Don't be afraid, my lady. My spear is right here, and no one will get past.
- Cao Soldier 刘备的人就在前面，大家冲啊，别让他们跑了！
Liú Bèi de rén jiù zài qiánmiàn, dàjiā chōng a, bié ràng tāmen pǎo le!

- Narrator 灰尘越来越大，人们四处乱跑。等灰尘慢慢落下来，那辆车已经不见了。
Huīchén yuè lái yuè dà, rénmen sìchù luàn pǎo. Děng huīchén mànmàn luò xiàlái, nà liàng chē yǐjīng bú jiàn le.
The dust grew thicker and people ran in every direction. When the dust slowly settled, the cart was gone.
- Zhao Yun 夫人！公子！你们在哪儿？请你们回答我！
Fūrén! Gōngzǐ! Nǐmen zài nǎr? Qǐng nǐmen huídá wǒ!
My lady! Young master! Where are you? Please answer me!
- Zhao Yun 我答应过主公，要保护他们。找不到他们，我就不回去了！
Wǒ dāying guo zhǔgōng, yào bǎohù tāmen. Zhǎo bú dào tāmen, wǒ jiù bù huíqù le!
I promised my lord I'd protect them. If I can't find them, I won't go back!
