The Map

Jim and his mother take only what they are owed, and one small packet, before the pirates burst in. At the doctor's house, the packet becomes a treasure map.

Poor Captain. Jim, he still owes us money.
- Jim Hawkins 他一直很怕那些海盗。现在他不在了，他们会来吗？
Tā yìzhí hěn pà nàxiē hǎidào. Xiànzài tā bú zài le, tāmen huì lái ma?
He was always so afraid of those pirates. Now that he's gone, will they come?

Hurry. I hear footsteps outside.
- Jim Hawkins 这里有衣服，有一把枪，还有一个小包。
Zhèlǐ yǒu yīfu, yǒu yì bǎ qiāng, hái yǒu yí gè xiǎo bāo.
There are clothes, a gun, and a small packet.
- Jim's mother 我们的银币数好了。走吧！
Wǒmen de yínbì shǔ hǎo le. Zǒu ba!
I've counted our silver coins. Let's go!
- Jim Hawkins 等一下，妈妈。这个小包，我也带走。
Děng yíxià, māma. Zhège xiǎo bāo, wǒ yě dàizǒu.
Wait, Mom. I'm taking this packet too.
- The blind man 进去！快找那个箱子！
Jìnqù! Kuài zhǎo nàge xiāngzi!
Get in there! Find that chest, quick!
- Jim Hawkins 妈妈，快！我们去桥下面！
Māma, kuài! Wǒmen qù qiáo xiàmiàn!
Mom, quick! Under the bridge!
- A pirate 箱子开了！可是里面没有小包！
Xiāngzi kāi le! Kěshì lǐmiàn méiyǒu xiǎo bāo!
The chest is open! But there's no packet inside!
- The blind man 快找！他们一定还在这里！
Kuài zhǎo! Tāmen yídìng hái zài zhèlǐ!
Search! They must still be here!
- A pirate 有人骑马来了！快跑！
Yǒu rén qí mǎ lái le! Kuài pǎo!
Riders are coming! Run!
- Jim Hawkins 他们跑了。妈妈，我去找利夫西医生！
Tāmen pǎo le. Māma, wǒ qù zhǎo Lìfūxī yīshēng!
They ran. Mom, I'm going to find Doctor Livesey!
- Jim's mother 去吧。路上要小心。
Qù ba. Lùshang yào xiǎoxīn.
Go. Be careful on the road.
- Dr. Livesey 吉姆？这么晚了，出什么事了？
Jímǔ? Zhème wǎn le, chū shénme shì le?
Jim? It's so late. What's happened?
- Jim Hawkins 医生，老船长死了。他的箱子里有这个小包。
Yīshēng, lǎo chuánzhǎng sǐ le. Tā de xiāngzi lǐ yǒu zhège xiǎo bāo.
Doctor, the old captain is dead. There was this packet in his chest.
- Squire Trelawney 快打开！快打开！
Kuài dǎkāi! Kuài dǎkāi!
Open it! Open it!
- Dr. Livesey 是一张地图！这里有一个岛，还有一个红叉。
Shì yì zhāng dìtú! Zhèlǐ yǒu yí gè dǎo, hái yǒu yí gè hóng chā.
It's a map! Here's an island, and a red cross.
- Dr. Livesey 你们看，红叉在一座山的下面。老船长一定很怕别人拿到它。
Nǐmen kàn, hóng chā zài yí zuò shān de xiàmiàn. Lǎo chuánzhǎng yídìng hěn pà biérén ná dào tā.
Look, the red cross is at the foot of a hill. The old captain must have feared others getting it.
- Squire Trelawney 红叉的地方，就是宝藏！我们去找！
Hóng chā de dìfang, jiù shì bǎozàng! Wǒmen qù zhǎo!
The red cross must be the treasure! Let's go find it!
- Jim Hawkins 可是那些海盗也想要它。他们会来找我们的。
Kěshì nàxiē hǎidào yě xiǎng yào tā. Tāmen huì lái zhǎo wǒmen de.
But those pirates want it too. They'll come looking for us.
- Dr. Livesey 乡绅先生，小声点！这件事不能让别人知道。
Xiāngshēn xiānsheng, xiǎoshēng diǎn! Zhè jiàn shì bù néng ràng biérén zhīdào.
Squire, quieter! No one else can know about this.
- Squire Trelawney 好，好！我小声说！我谁也不告诉！
Hǎo, hǎo! Wǒ xiǎoshēng shuō! Wǒ shéi yě bú gàosu!
All right, all right! I'll whisper! I won't tell a soul!
- Dr. Livesey 乡绅先生，你现在还是很大声。
Xiāngshēn xiānsheng, nǐ xiànzài hái shi hěn dàshēng.
Squire, you are still very loud.
- Jim Hawkins 我也想去！我可以在船上帮忙，我不怕。
Wǒ yě xiǎng qù! Wǒ kěyǐ zài chuán shàng bāngmáng, wǒ bú pà.
I want to go too! I can help on the ship. I'm not afraid.
- Dr. Livesey 好。我也去，我是医生。海上一定有人生病。
Hǎo. Wǒ yě qù, wǒ shì yīshēng. Hǎi shàng yídìng yǒu rén shēngbìng.
Good. I'll come too, I'm a doctor. Someone will surely get sick at sea.
- Squire Trelawney 太好了！船我今天就买。厨子也请好了！
Tài hǎo le! Chuán wǒ jīntiān jiù mǎi. Chúzi yě qǐng hǎo le!
Wonderful! I'll buy a ship today. And I've hired a cook already!
- Dr. Livesey 他是谁？
Tā shì shéi?
Who is he?
- Squire Trelawney 西尔弗。他很好，可是他只有一条腿。
Xī'ěrfú. Tā hěn hǎo, kěshì tā zhǐyǒu yì tiáo tuǐ.
Silver. He's a fine fellow, but he has only one leg.
- Jim Hawkins 一条腿？！
Yì tiáo tuǐ?!
