A very sleepy warrior with a third eye is sent to rescue Jiang Ziya from a pack of monsters. A pig, a snake and a big white ape are waiting.

Yùquán Shān shàng, zǎochen. Yáng Jiǎn tǎng zài yí kuài dà shítou shàng shuìjiào.
On Jade Spring Mountain, in the morning. Yang Jian lay on a big rock, sleeping.
- Master Yuding 杨戬，醒醒！白鹤带来了消息，姜太公有麻烦了！
Yáng Jiǎn, xǐngxing! Báihè dài lái le xiāoxi, Jiāng Tàigōng yǒu máfan le!
Yang Jian, wake up! The white crane brought news. Master Jiang is in trouble!
- Yang Jian (Erlang Shen) 师父，让我再睡五分钟……就五分钟，我的梦还没做完呢。
Shīfu, ràng wǒ zài shuì wǔ fēnzhōng… jiù wǔ fēnzhōng, wǒ de mèng hái méi zuò wán ne.
Master, let me sleep five more minutes... just five. My dream isn't finished yet.

Tàigōng bèi qī gè yāoguài wéi zhù le. Nǐ zài shuì, tā jiù yào biànchéng yú tāng le!
Master Jiang is surrounded by seven monsters. If you sleep any longer, he'll turn into fish soup!
- Yang Jian (Erlang Shen) 七个妖怪？师父，他们会变，我也会变。谁怕谁？
Qī gè yāoguài? Shīfu, tāmen huì biàn, wǒ yě huì biàn. Shéi pà shéi?
Seven monsters? Master, they can change shapes and so can I. Who's afraid of whom?
- Master Yuding 你的本领不小，可是你的毛病也不小：你太爱睡觉了。
Nǐ de běnlǐng bù xiǎo, kěshì nǐ de máobìng yě bù xiǎo: nǐ tài ài shuìjiào le.
Your skills are not small, but your fault is not small either: you love sleeping too much.
- Yang Jian (Erlang Shen) 师父，懒也是一种本事。懒人才会想出最简单的办法！
Shīfu, lǎn yě shì yì zhǒng běnshi. Lǎn rén cái huì xiǎng chū zuì jiǎndān de bànfǎ!
Master, being lazy is a skill too. Only lazy people think of the simplest way!
- Master Yuding 好，好。去吧。记住，你的第三只眼，能看见真的和假的。
Hǎo, hǎo. Qù ba. Jìzhù, nǐ de dì-sān zhī yǎn, néng kànjiàn zhēn de hé jiǎ de.
Fine, fine. Go. Remember, your third eye can see what is true and what is false.
- Yang Jian (Erlang Shen) 知道了。小黑，我们走！
Zhīdào le. Xiǎohēi, wǒmen zǒu!
Got it. Xiaohei, let's go!
- Narrator 杨戬带着他的黑狗，飞下了山。
Yáng Jiǎn dàizhe tā de hēi gǒu, fēi xià le shān.
Yang Jian took his black dog and flew down the mountain.
- Zhu Zizhen 站住！我是朱子真，梅山七怪里最勇敢的一个！
Zhànzhù! Wǒ shì Zhū Zǐzhēn, Méishān qī guài lǐ zuì yǒnggǎn de yí gè!
Halt! I am Zhu Zizhen, the bravest of the Seven Monsters of Plum Mountain!
- Chang Hao 朱大哥，你先上。我在后面，帮你看着这个懒人有没有睡着。
Zhū dàgē, nǐ xiān shàng. Wǒ zài hòumiàn, bāng nǐ kànzhe zhège lǎn rén yǒu méiyǒu shuìzháo.
Big Brother Zhu, you go first. I'll stay behind and watch whether this lazybones has fallen asleep.
- Yang Jian (Erlang Shen) 一头猪，一条蛇。你们两个，吃过早饭了吗？
Yì tóu zhū, yì tiáo shé. Nǐmen liǎng gè, chī guo zǎofàn le ma?
A pig and a snake. Have you two had breakfast yet?
- Zhu Zizhen 我是朱子真，不是一头猪！不过……我的早饭还没吃。
Wǒ shì Zhū Zǐzhēn, bú shì yì tóu zhū! Búguò… wǒ de zǎofàn hái méi chī.
I'm Zhu Zizhen, not a pig! But... I haven't had my breakfast yet.
- Yang Jian (Erlang Shen) 那我请你们吃一个大东西。小心，我要变了！
Nà wǒ qǐng nǐmen chī yí gè dà dōngxi. Xiǎoxīn, wǒ yào biàn le!
Then I'll treat you to something big. Careful, I'm about to change!
- Zhu Zizhen 啊！一只大老虎！妈呀，我最怕老虎了！
Ā! Yì zhī dà lǎohǔ! Mā ya, wǒ zuì pà lǎohǔ le!
Ah! A huge tiger! Oh no, I'm most afraid of tigers!
- Chang Hao 朱大哥，别跑！……我也……我也要跑了！
Zhū dàgē, bié pǎo!… Wǒ yě… wǒ yě yào pǎo le!
Brother Zhu, don't run!... I'm... I'm going to run too!
- Yang Jian (Erlang Shen) 想跑？我可不想追。小黑，你去吧！
Xiǎng pǎo? Wǒ kě bù xiǎng zhuī. Xiǎohēi, nǐ qù ba!
Want to run? I don't feel like chasing. Xiaohei, you go!
- Chang Hao 救命！这只狗好快！大哥，我们认输了！
Jiùmìng! Zhè zhī gǒu hǎo kuài! Dàgē, wǒmen rènshū le!
Help! This dog is so fast! Brother, we give up!
- Zhu Zizhen 认输就认输。可是我肚子好饿，谁给我一块大饼？我要吃两块！
Rènshū jiù rènshū. Kěshì wǒ dùzi hǎo è, shéi gěi wǒ yí kuài dà bǐng? Wǒ yào chī liǎng kuài!
Fine, we give up. But my belly is so hungry. Who'll give me a big flatbread? I want two!
- Yuan Hong 两个没用的东西！杨戬，我是袁洪。你打不倒我！
Liǎng gè méiyòng de dōngxi! Yáng Jiǎn, wǒ shì Yuán Hóng. Nǐ dǎ bu dǎo wǒ!
Two useless fools! Yang Jian, I am Yuan Hong. You can't beat me!
- Yang Jian (Erlang Shen) 白猿将军，你的棍子很长，可是你的话更长。
Báiyuán jiāngjūn, nǐ de gùnzi hěn cháng, kěshì nǐ de huà gèng cháng.
General White Ape, your club is long, but your talk is even longer.
- Yuan Hong 你变什么，我就变什么！我有很多种变化！
Nǐ biàn shénme, wǒ jiù biàn shénme! Wǒ yǒu hěn duō zhǒng biànhuà!
Whatever you turn into, I'll turn into it too! I have many transformations!
- Yang Jian (Erlang Shen) 你会变，我也会变。可是我有第三只眼。
Nǐ huì biàn, wǒ yě huì biàn. Kěshì wǒ yǒu dì-sān zhī yǎn.
You can change, and so can I. But I have a third eye.
- Yuan Hong 第三只眼？那是什么东西？
Dì-sān zhī yǎn? Nà shì shénme dōngxi?
A third eye? What is that?
- Yang Jian (Erlang Shen) 它能看见真的和假的。你变成什么，我一看就知道。
Tā néng kànjiàn zhēn de hé jiǎ de. Nǐ biànchéng shénme, wǒ yí kàn jiù zhīdào.
It can see what is true and what is false. Whatever you turn into, I'll know at a glance.
- Yuan Hong 不可能！……啊，好亮！我的眼睛！
Bù kěnéng!… Ā, hǎo liàng! Wǒ de yǎnjing!
Impossible!... Ah, so bright! My eyes!
- Yang Jian (Erlang Shen) 别怕，只是让你看看真的样子。白猿，你输了。
Bié pà, zhǐshì ràng nǐ kànkan zhēn de yàngzi. Báiyuán, nǐ shū le.
Don't be afraid, it only shows you your true self. White Ape, you lost.
- Yuan Hong 我输了……可是你们别高兴得太早。
Wǒ shū le… kěshì nǐmen bié gāoxìng de tài zǎo.
I lost... but don't celebrate too soon.
- Yuan Hong 我们的老师闻仲，在前面摆了一个大阵。十道门，你们过不去的！
Wǒmen de lǎoshī Wén Zhòng, zài qiánmiàn bǎi le yí gè dà zhèn. Shí dào mén, nǐmen guò bu qù de!
Our teacher Wen Zhong has set up a great formation ahead. Ten gates, and you'll never get through!
- Yang Jian (Erlang Shen) 十道门？太公一定在等我们。小黑，我们快回去！
Shí dào mén? Tàigōng yídìng zài děng wǒmen. Xiǎohēi, wǒmen kuài huíqù!
Ten gates? Master Jiang must be waiting for us. Xiaohei, let's hurry back!
