Ten dark gates rise on the road to the king's capital, and behind each one waits a different danger. Three friends go in together.

- Narrator 一座大城墙挡在路上。城墙上有十道黑门，每一道门前都有冷冷的雾。
Yí zuò dà chéngqiáng dǎng zài lù shàng. Chéngqiáng shàng yǒu shí dào hēi mén, měi yí dào mén qián dōu yǒu lěnglěng de wù.
A great wall blocked the road. It had ten dark gates, and in front of each one hung a cold mist.
- Nezha 太公，这是什么？门后面有什么？我先进去看看！
Tàigōng, zhè shì shénme? Mén hòumiàn yǒu shénme? Wǒ xiān jìnqù kànkan!
Master Jiang, what is this? What's behind the gates? I'll go in first and look!
- Jiang Ziya 哪吒，等一等。这是闻仲摆的大阵，有十道门。每一道门，都有不一样的危险。
Nézha, děng yi děng. Zhè shì Wén Zhòng bǎi de dà zhèn, yǒu shí dào mén. Měi yí dào mén, dōu yǒu bù yíyàng de wēixiǎn.
Nezha, wait. This is the great formation Wen Zhong set up. It has ten gates, and each gate has a different danger.

Jiāng Tàigōng! Nǐ dài lái de, zhǐ yǒu yí gè diàoyú de lǎotóu, yí gè xiǎohái, hái yǒu yí gè ná dēng de lǎorén?
Jiang Taigong! All you brought is an old fisherman, a little kid, and an old man with a lamp?
- Nezha 我不是小孩！我是哪吒！我有风火轮，我什么都不怕！
Wǒ bú shì xiǎohái! Wǒ shì Nézha! Wǒ yǒu fēnghuǒlún, wǒ shénme dōu bú pà!
I'm not a kid! I'm Nezha! I have the Wind-Fire Wheels and I'm not afraid of anything!
- Randeng 哪吒，怕不是坏事。怕，会让人小心。
Nézha, pà bú shì huài shì. Pà, huì ràng rén xiǎoxīn.
Nezha, fear isn't a bad thing. Fear makes people careful.
- Nezha 那……我可以怕一点点。就一点点。
Nà… wǒ kěyǐ pà yìdiǎndiǎn. Jiù yìdiǎndiǎn.
Then... I can be a little afraid. Just a little.
- Jiang Ziya 这就对了。闻仲想让我们一个一个进去，一个一个害怕。
Zhè jiù duì le. Wén Zhòng xiǎng ràng wǒmen yí gè yí gè jìnqù, yí gè yí gè hàipà.
That's right. Wen Zhong wants us to go in one by one, and be afraid one by one.
- Jiang Ziya 我们不那样做。我们三个人一起进去，谁怕了，别的人就拉住他。
Wǒmen bú nàyàng zuò. Wǒmen sān gè rén yìqǐ jìnqù, shéi pà le, biéde rén jiù lā zhù tā.
We won't do that. The three of us go in together, and whoever is afraid, the others will hold on to him.
- Randeng 我的灯很小，可是它的火不会灭。你们跟着蓝色的火走。
Wǒ de dēng hěn xiǎo, kěshì tā de huǒ bú huì miè. Nǐmen gēnzhe lánsè de huǒ zǒu.
My lamp is small, but its flame will not go out. Follow the blue fire.
- Nezha 好！三个人一起！太公，您走中间。
Hǎo! Sān gè rén yìqǐ! Tàigōng, nín zǒu zhōngjiān.
Good! All three together! Master Jiang, you walk in the middle.
- Jiang Ziya 我这个老头，走在中间最安全。哈哈，走吧！
Wǒ zhège lǎotóu, zǒu zài zhōngjiān zuì ānquán. Hā hā, zǒu ba!
An old man like me is safest in the middle. Ha ha, let's go!
- Grand Tutor Wen 请进！我等你们很久了。
Qǐng jìn! Wǒ děng nǐmen hěn jiǔ le.
Come in! I've been waiting for you a long time.
- Narrator 十道黑门，一道一道打开了。三个人走进了大阵。
Shí dào hēi mén, yí dào yí dào dǎkāi le. Sān gè rén zǒu jìn le dà zhèn.
The ten dark gates opened one by one. The three walked into the formation.
- Jiang Ziya 别怕。跟着蓝色的火。
Bié pà. Gēnzhe lánsè de huǒ.
Don't be afraid. Follow the blue fire.
- Nezha 好冷！这里全是冰！我的脚都要冻住了！
Hǎo lěng! Zhèlǐ quán shì bīng! Wǒ de jiǎo dōu yào dòngzhù le!
So cold! It's all ice here! My feet are freezing!
- Randeng 别急，哪吒。你的风火轮有火，你的心里也有火。
Bié jí, Nézha. Nǐ de fēnghuǒlún yǒu huǒ, nǐ de xīn lǐ yě yǒu huǒ.
Don't rush, Nezha. Your wheels have fire, and your heart has fire too.
- Nezha 好，火！大一点！……冰化了！太公，你看！
Hǎo, huǒ! Dà yìdiǎn!… Bīng huà le! Tàigōng, nǐ kàn!
All right, fire! Bigger!... The ice is melting! Master Jiang, look!
- Jiang Ziya 很好。第一道门开了。往前走，不要回头。
Hěn hǎo. Dì-yī dào mén kāi le. Wǎng qián zǒu, bú yào huítóu.
Very good. The first gate is open. Keep going and don't look back.
- Nezha 这一道门好热！火在跳！我……我有一点怕了。
Zhè yí dào mén hǎo rè! Huǒ zài tiào! Wǒ… wǒ yǒu yìdiǎn pà le.
This gate is so hot! The fire is jumping! I... I'm a little scared now.
- Randeng 那就拉住我的袖子。火不会伤害怕的人，它只是试一试人的心。
Nà jiù lā zhù wǒ de xiùzi. Huǒ bú huì shānghài pà de rén, tā zhǐshì shì yi shì rén de xīn.
Then hold my sleeve. Fire doesn't hurt those who are afraid. It only tests the heart.
- Nezha 我拉住了！……咦？火不热了！
Wǒ lā zhù le!… Yí? Huǒ bú rè le!
I'm holding on!... Huh? The fire isn't hot anymore!
- Randeng 因为你不再是一个人在怕了。
Yīnwèi nǐ bú zài shì yí gè rén zài pà le.
Because you're not afraid alone anymore.
- Jiang Ziya 第三道，第四道，第五道……闻仲，你的门不多了！
Dì-sān dào, dì-sì dào, dì-wǔ dào… Wén Zhòng, nǐ de mén bù duō le!
The third gate, the fourth gate, the fifth... Wen Zhong, you're running out of gates!
- Grand Tutor Wen 别高兴得太早！还有最后一道门！那里面，没有冰，也没有火。
Bié gāoxìng de tài zǎo! Hái yǒu zuìhòu yí dào mén! Nàlǐmiàn, méiyǒu bīng, yě méiyǒu huǒ.
Don't celebrate too soon! There is still the last gate! Inside there is no ice and no fire.
- Nezha 那里面有什么？
Nà lǐmiàn yǒu shénme?
Then what is inside?
- Grand Tutor Wen 里面只有一面镜子。它会让你看见，你最怕的东西。
Lǐmiàn zhǐyǒu yí miàn jìngzi. Tā huì ràng nǐ kànjiàn, nǐ zuì pà de dōngxi.
Inside there is only a mirror. It will show you the thing you fear most.
- Nezha 我最怕的东西……我看见了。是爸爸生气的脸。
Wǒ zuì pà de dōngxi… wǒ kànjiàn le. Shì bàba shēngqì de liǎn.
The thing I fear most... I can see it. It's Father's angry face.
- Randeng 哪吒，那是一面镜子，不是你爸爸。你爸爸现在，正在等你回家。
Nézha, nà shì yí miàn jìngzi, bú shì nǐ bàba. Nǐ bàba xiànzài, zhèngzài děng nǐ huí jiā.
Nezha, that is a mirror, not your father. Your father is waiting for you to come home right now.
- Nezha 对！我不怕你！风火轮，冲！
Duì! Wǒ bú pà nǐ! Fēnghuǒlún, chōng!
Right! I'm not afraid of you! Wind-Fire Wheels, charge!
- Grand Tutor Wen 你们破了我的大阵！……可是你们赢不了大王。他还有一千辆战车！
Nǐmen pò le wǒ de dà zhèn!… Kěshì nǐmen yíng bu liǎo dàwáng. Tā hái yǒu yìqiān liàng zhànchē!
You broke my formation!... But you can't beat the king. He still has a thousand war chariots!
