- Victor Frankenstein 伊丽莎白，有一件事，我一直没有告诉你。今天晚上，我们可能有危险。
Yīlìshābái, yǒu yí jiàn shì, wǒ yìzhí méiyǒu gàosu nǐ. Jīntiān wǎnshang, wǒmen kěnéng yǒu wēixiǎn.
Elizabeth, there is something I never told you. Tonight, we may be in danger.
- Elizabeth 什么事，我们都一起面对。你别再一个人害怕了。
Shénme shì, wǒmen dōu yìqǐ miànduì. Nǐ bié zài yí gè rén hàipà le.
Whatever it is, we face it together. Don't be afraid alone any more.

Do you remember? You said you'd write me a letter every week. From now on, you'll be at my side every day, all right?
- Victor Frankenstein 我答应你，伊丽莎白。
Wǒ dāying nǐ, Yīlìshābái.
I promise, Elizabeth.
- Narrator 等维克多回来，已经太晚了。窗外，一个高高的影子走进了黑夜。伊丽莎白再也没有醒来。
Děng Wéikèduō huílái, yǐjīng tài wǎn le. Chuāng wài, yí gè gāo gāo de yǐngzi zǒujìn le hēiyè. Yīlìshābái zàiyě méiyǒu xǐng lái.
By the time Victor returned, it was too late. Outside the window, a tall shadow walked into the night. Elizabeth never woke again.
- Victor Frankenstein 伊丽莎白走了，爸爸也因为太伤心去世了。我什么都没有了。
Yīlìshābái zǒu le, bàba yě yīnwèi tài shāngxīn qùshì le. Wǒ shénme dōu méiyǒu le.
Elizabeth is gone, and Father has died of a broken heart. I have nothing left.
- Victor Frankenstein 都是我做的。我不再怕了：他去哪里，我就去哪里。
Dōu shì wǒ zuò de. Wǒ bú zài pà le: tā qù nǎlǐ, wǒ jiù qù nǎlǐ.
It was all my doing. I'm not afraid any more: wherever he goes, I will go.

Victor chased the shadow through many lands, farther and farther north, until he came into the world of ice.
- Victor Frankenstein 就是这样，船长。我追他追了很久，直到你的船找到我。
Jiùshì zhèyàng, chuánzhǎng. Wǒ zhuī tā zhuī le hěn jiǔ, zhídào nǐ de chuán zhǎodào wǒ.
And that is all, Captain. I chased him for a long time, until your ship found me.
- Captain Walton 维克多，我真难过。我不知道该说什么。
Wéikèduō, wǒ zhēn nánguò. Wǒ bù zhīdào gāi shuō shénme.
Victor, I am so sorry. I don't know what to say.
- Victor Frankenstein 船长，我快不行了。请你听我最后的话：不要学我，不要为了一个梦，忘了身边的人。
Chuánzhǎng, wǒ kuài bù xíng le. Qǐng nǐ tīng wǒ zuìhòu dehuà: búyào xué wǒ, búyào wèile yí gè mèng, wàng le shēnbiān de rén.
Captain, I am running out of time. Hear my last words: don't be like me. Never forget the people beside you for the sake of a dream.
- Captain Walton 我会记住的。我要回家，回去见我的姐姐。
Wǒ huì jìzhù de. Wǒ yào huíjiā, huíqù jiàn wǒ de jiějie.
I will remember. I'll go home and see my sister.
- Victor Frankenstein 还有一件事……我做错了。我做出了他，却没有对他负责。我不该跑。
Háiyǒu yí jiàn shì… wǒ zuò cuò le. Wǒ zuò chū le tā, què méiyǒu duì tā fùzé. Wǒ bù gāi pǎo.
One more thing... I was wrong. I made him, but I did not take care of him. I should not have run.
- Victor Frankenstein 如果他来，请你……听他说话。
Rúguǒ tā lái, qǐng nǐ… tīng tā shuōhuà.
If he comes, please... listen to him.
- Narrator 那天夜里，维克多闭上了眼睛。船上的灯，一盏一盏地暗了下来。
Nà tiān yèlǐ, Wéikèduō bì shàng le yǎnjing. Chuán shàng de dēng, yì zhǎn yì zhǎn dì àn le xiàlái.
That night, Victor closed his eyes. The lights on the ship went dim, one by one.
- The Creature 弗兰肯斯坦……你真的走了吗？
Fúlánkěnsītǎn… nǐ zhēnde zǒu le ma?
Frankenstein... are you really gone?
- Captain Walton 你……你就是他？站住！
Nǐ… nǐ jiùshì tā? Zhànzhù!
You... you are him? Stop right there!
- The Creature 别怕，船长。我不会伤害任何人。我只想再看他一眼。
Bié pà, chuánzhǎng. Wǒ bú huì shānghài rènhé rén. Wǒ zhǐ xiǎng zài kàn tā yì yǎn.
Don't be afraid, Captain. I will hurt no one. I only wanted to see him once more.
- The Creature 你恨了我那么久。现在你走了，我为什么这么难过？
Nǐ hèn le wǒ nàme jiǔ. Xiànzài nǐ zǒu le, wǒ wèishénme zhème nánguò?
You hated me for so long. Now that you are gone, why am I so sad?
- Captain Walton 你带走了他的一切：他的家人，他的朋友，还有他的梦。
Nǐ dài zǒu le tā de yíqiè: tā de jiārén, tā de péngyou, háiyǒu tā de mèng.
You took everything from him: his family, his friends, and his dream.
- The Creature 我知道。我知道我不应该被原谅。我只是想让你们知道，我也会痛。
Wǒ zhīdào. Wǒ zhīdào wǒ bù yīnggāi bèi yuánliàng. Wǒ zhǐshì xiǎng ràng nǐmen zhīdào, wǒ yě huì tòng.
I know. I know I do not deserve to be forgiven. I only want you to know that I can hurt too.
- The Creature 我出生的那天，只想要一个人对我说一声：你好。可是没有一个人说。
Wǒ chūshēng de nà tiān, zhǐ xiǎng yào yí gè rén duì wǒ shuō yì shēng: nǐ hǎo. Kěshì méiyǒu yí gè rén shuō.
On the day I was born, I only wanted one person to say to me: hello. But no one did.
- Captain Walton ……你好。
… Nǐ hǎo.
...Hello.
- The Creature 谢谢你，船长。你是第一个看着我的脸，还对我说你好的人。
Xièxie nǐ, chuánzhǎng. Nǐ shì dì yī gè kàn zhe wǒ de liǎn, hái duì wǒ shuō nǐ hǎo de rén.
Thank you, Captain. You are the first person to look at my face and still say hello to me.
- The Creature 我要去最北边的冰里。没有人会再看见我，也没有人会再害怕。
Wǒ yào qù zuì běibiān de bīng lǐ. Méiyǒu rén huì zài kànjiàn wǒ, yě méiyǒu rén huì zài hàipà.
I will go into the ice at the farthest north. No one will see me again, and no one will be afraid again.
- The Creature 请告诉大家：做了一个东西，就要对它负责。再见了。
Qǐng gàosu dàjiā: zuò le yí gè dōngxi, jiùyào duì tā fùzé. Zàijiàn le.
Please tell everyone: if you make something, you must take care of it. Goodbye.
- Captain Walton 再见了……朋友。大副！把船转过来，我们回家！
Zàijiàn le… péngyou. Dà fù! Bǎ chuán zhuǎn guò lái, wǒmen huíjiā!
Goodbye... friend. Mate! Turn the ship around, we're going home!
- First Mate 是，船长！厨师说了，明天的早饭是真的面包！
Shì, chuánzhǎng! Chúshī shuō le, míngtiān de zǎofàn shì zhēnde miànbāo!
Yes, Captain! The cook says tomorrow's breakfast is real bread!
