Yes, I'm Mary. This is Moor House, our home.

Miss, that night, I shouldn't have shut the door.

Hannah, back then I was a beggar. But beggars are people too.

Here, have some hot bread. Here with me, nobody is a beggar.

Several weeks went by. Every day Jane read with Diana and Mary.

Jane, look at my brother. He smiles only once a day.
- Mary 黛安娜，我看是一个星期一次。

Diana, I'd say once a week.
- Jane Eyre 里弗斯先生，请您帮我找一个工作吧。
Lǐfúsī xiānsheng, qǐng nín bāng wǒ zhǎo yí gè gōngzuò ba.
Mr. Rivers, please help me find some work.
- St. John 艾略特小姐，莫尔顿有一所新学校，学生都是没钱的女孩子。你愿意去吗？

- Jane Eyre 我愿意，里弗斯先生。教书比要饭好多了。

I will, Mr. Rivers. Teaching is much better than begging.

Mary, look! St. John smiled!
- Narrator 有一天早上，来了一封信。

One morning, a letter came.
- St. John 约翰舅舅死了。他的遗产有两万英镑，都留给了别的家人。
Yuēhàn jiùjiu sǐ le. Tā de yíchǎn yǒu liǎng wàn yīngbàng, dōu liú gěi le bié de jiārén.
Uncle John is dead. He left twenty thousand pounds, all of it to someone else in the family.
- Mary 没有遗产，我和黛安娜又要去做家庭教师了。
Méiyǒu yíchǎn, wǒ hé Dài'ānnà yòu yào qù zuò jiātíng jiàoshī le.
With no inheritance, Diana and I must go back to being governesses.
- Diana 简，我们明天就走了。圣约翰要去做传教士。
Jiǎn, wǒmen míngtiān jiù zǒu le. Shèng Yuēhàn yào qù zuò chuánjiàoshì.
Jane, we leave tomorrow. And St. John is going to be a missionary.
- Jane Eyre 里弗斯先生，您要去哪儿？

Mr. Rivers, where will you go?
- St. John 我要去印度。这个地方留不住我。
Wǒ yào qù Yìndù. Zhège dìfang liú bu zhù wǒ.
I am going to India. This place cannot hold me.
