Wukong needs a weapon fit for a Monkey King. Deep under the Eastern Sea, the Dragon King has a whole palace full of them.

Wùkōng dǎ pǎo le Hùnshì Mówáng, dài huí le xiǎo hóuzimen.
Wukong drove off the Demon King of Chaos and brought all the little monkeys home.
- Sun Wukong 他下次再来，我用什么打他？我要一个好武器！
Tā xiàcì zài lái, wǒ yòng shénme dǎ tā? Wǒ yào yí gè hǎo wǔqì!
If he comes back, what will I fight him with? I need a good weapon!
- Old Monkey 大王，瀑布下边的水，能到东海。东海龙王有很多宝贝！
Dàwáng, pùbù xiàbian de shuǐ, néng dào Dōng Hǎi. Dōng Hǎi Lóngwáng yǒu hěn duō bǎobèi!
Your Majesty, the water under the waterfall leads to the Eastern Sea. And the Dragon King of the Eastern Sea has lots of treasures!
- Sun Wukong 好！我去找龙王！
Hǎo! Wǒ qù zhǎo Lóngwáng!
Great! I'll go and pay the Dragon King a visit!
- Narrator 悟空跳到水里，走了很远很远，来到了东海龙宫。
Wùkōng tiào dào shuǐ lǐ, zǒu le hěn yuǎn hěn yuǎn, láidào le Dōng Hǎi Lónggōng.
Wukong dove into the water and walked a long, long way, until he came to the Dragon Palace of the Eastern Sea.
- Dragon King of the Eastern Sea 你是谁？来我的龙宫做什么？
Nǐ shì shéi? Lái wǒ de Lónggōng zuò shénme?
Who are you? What are you doing in my palace?
- Sun Wukong 龙王，你好！我是花果山的孙悟空。我来借一个武器！
Lóngwáng, nǐ hǎo! Wǒ shì Huāguǒ Shān de Sūn Wùkōng. Wǒ lái jiè yí gè wǔqì!
Hello, Dragon King! I'm Sun Wukong of Flower Fruit Mountain. I've come to borrow a weapon!
- Dragon King of the Eastern Sea 好，好！你试试这个！三千六百斤！
Hǎo, hǎo! Nǐ shìshi zhège! Sānqiān liùbǎi jīn!
Of course, of course! Try this one! Three thousand six hundred jin!
- Sun Wukong 太轻了！不要！
Tài qīng le! Bú yào!
Too light! No thanks!
- Dragon King of the Eastern Sea 那……这个呢？七千二百斤！是我这里最重的！
Nà… zhège ne? Qīqiān èrbǎi jīn! Shì wǒ zhèlǐ zuì zhòng de!
Then… how about this one? Seven thousand two hundred jin! It's the heaviest one I have!
- Sun Wukong 还是太轻了！龙王，还有没有好一点儿的？
Háishi tài qīng le! Lóngwáng, hái yǒu méiyǒu hǎo yìdiǎnr de?
Still too light! Dragon King, haven't you got anything better?
- Dragon King of the Eastern Sea 没……没有了！
Méi… méiyǒu le!
N-no, there's nothing else!
- Narrator 龙宫的中间，有一个东西在发光。
Lónggōng de zhōngjiān, yǒu yí gè dōngxi zài fāguāng.
In the middle of the palace, something was glowing.
- Sun Wukong 那是什么？好亮的金光！
Nà shì shénme? Hǎo liàng de jīnguāng!
What's that? What a bright golden light!
- Dragon King of the Eastern Sea 那个……是海里最重的铁。很大很大，谁也拿不动！
Nàge… shì hǎi lǐ zuì zhòng de tiě. Hěn dà hěn dà, shéi yě ná bú dòng!
That… is the heaviest iron in the sea. It's enormous. No one can lift it!
- Sun Wukong 我来试试！太大了……小一点儿！再小一点儿！
Wǒ lái shìshi! Tài dà le… xiǎo yìdiǎnr! Zài xiǎo yìdiǎnr!
Let me try! Too big… get a little smaller! A little smaller!
- Dragon King of the Eastern Sea 小了……真的小了！
Xiǎo le… zhēnde xiǎo le!
It's shrinking… it really is shrinking!
- Sun Wukong 上边有字：金箍棒，一万三千五百斤。好！我就要这个！
Shàngbian yǒu zì: jīn gū bàng, yíwàn sānqiān wǔbǎi jīn. Hǎo! Wǒ jiù yào zhège!
There's writing on it: Golden-Hoop Staff, thirteen thousand five hundred jin. Perfect! This is the one I want!
- Sun Wukong 大！小！大！小！哈哈，真好玩儿！
Dà! Xiǎo! Dà! Xiǎo! Hāhā, zhēn hǎowánr!
Big! Small! Big! Small! Ha ha, this is fun!
- Dragon King of the Eastern Sea 那是东海的宝贝！你不能带走！
Nà shì Dōng Hǎi de bǎobèi! Nǐ bù néng dàizǒu!
That's the treasure of the Eastern Sea! You can't take it!
- Sun Wukong 谢谢龙王！再见！
Xièxie Lóngwáng! Zàijiàn!
Thank you, Dragon King! Goodbye!
- Dragon King of the Eastern Sea 这只坏猴子！我要去天上，告诉玉皇大帝！
Zhè zhī huài hóuzi! Wǒ yào qù tiānshàng, gàosu Yùhuáng Dàdì!
That wicked monkey! I'll go up to heaven and tell the Jade Emperor!
