Wukong flies to the Southern Sea to beg Guanyin for help. She has a plan for Red Boy, and it begins with a very pretty lotus flower.

Bodhisattva Guanyin! Please, save my master!
- Guanyin 大圣，你的脸怎么黑了？出了什么事？
Dàshèng, nǐ de liǎn zěnme hēi le? Chū le shénme shì?

Yí gè jiào Hóng Hái'ér de yāoguài, zhuā zǒu le shīfu. Tā de huǒ tài lìhài, shuǐ yě méiyǒu yòng!
A demon named Red Boy has taken my master. His fire is too strong, and water is no use!
- Guanyin 他是牛魔王的儿子。你有没有叫过他一声侄子？
Tā shì Niú Mówáng de érzi. Nǐ yǒu méiyǒu jiào guò tā yìshēng zhízi?
He is the Bull Demon King's son. Did you call him nephew even once?
- Sun Wukong 叫了！可是他说，我不是他叔叔。
Jiào le! Kěshì tā shuō, wǒ búshì tā shūshū.
I did! But he said I'm not his uncle.
- Guanyin 我可以帮你。但是这一次，你要听我的。
Wǒ kěyǐ bāng nǐ. Dànshì zhè yícì, nǐ yào tīng wǒ de.
I can help you. But this time, you must listen to me.
- Sun Wukong 一定听！菩萨说什么，我做什么！
Yídìng tīng! Púsà shuō shénme, wǒ zuò shénme!
I will! Whatever you say, Bodhisattva, I'll do!
- Guanyin 你去红孩儿的洞口，和他打一打。然后往我这里跑。
Nǐ qù Hóng Hái'ér de dòngkǒu, hé tā dǎ yì dǎ. Ránhòu wǎng wǒ zhèlǐ pǎo.
Go to Red Boy's cave door and fight him a little. Then run toward me.
- Sun Wukong 菩萨，他追上我怎么办？他的火轮很快！
Púsà, tā zhuī shàng wǒ zěnme bàn? Tā de huǒlún hěnkuài!
Bodhisattva, what if he catches me? His fire wheels are fast!
- Guanyin 别怕。他一定会追你，你不要回头。我在山上等你。
Bié pà. Tā yídìng huì zhuī nǐ, nǐ búyào huítóu. Wǒ zài shānshàng děng nǐ.
Don't be afraid. He will surely chase you. Don't look back. I will wait for you on the hill.
- Sun Wukong 就这样？好！我们走！
Jiù zhèyàng? Hǎo! Wǒmen zǒu!
Just that? Good! Let's go!
- Sun Wukong 红孩儿！我又来了！你来打我啊！
Hóng Hái'ér! Wǒ yòu lái le! Nǐ lái dǎ wǒ a!
Red Boy! I'm back! Come and hit me!
- Red Boy 又是你！你还敢来？这一次，我要烧得你更黑！
Yòu shì nǐ! Nǐ hái gǎn lái? Zhè yícì, wǒ yào shāo de nǐ gèng hēi!
You again! You dare come back? This time I'll burn you even blacker!
- Sun Wukong 来啊！你追不上我的！
Lái a! Nǐ zhuī bù shàng wǒ de!
Come on! You'll never catch me!
- Red Boy 别跑！你跑不了！
Bié pǎo! Nǐ pǎo bù liǎo!
Don't run! You can't get away!
- Sun Wukong 哈哈，你太慢了！
Hāhā, nǐ tài màn le!
Ha ha, you're too slow!
- Red Boy 你等着！我的火轮比风还快！
Nǐ děng zhe! Wǒ de huǒlún bǐ fēng hái kuài!
Just wait! My fire wheels are faster than the wind!
- Sun Wukong 那你就来吧！这边，这边！
Nà nǐ jiù lái ba! Zhèbiān, zhèbiān!
Then come on! This way, this way!
- Red Boy 咦？那边山上，怎么有一朵大莲花？
Yí? Nàbiān shānshàng, zěnme yǒu yìduǒ dà liánhuā?
Huh? Why is there a huge lotus flower on that hill?
- Red Boy 太漂亮了！我从来没看过这么大的莲花！
Tài piàoliang le! Wǒ cónglái méi kànguò zhème dà de liánhuā!
So beautiful! I've never seen a lotus this big!
- Guanyin 孩子，你累了吧？坐下来休息一下。
Háizi, nǐ lèi le ba? Zuòxià lái xiūxī yíxià.
Child, you must be tired. Sit down and rest a while.
- Red Boy 你是谁？你为什么在这里等我？
Nǐ shì shuí? Nǐ wèishénme zài zhèlǐ děng wǒ?
Who are you? Why are you waiting for me here?
- Guanyin 我是来送你一件礼物的。你想不想看看？
Wǒ shì lái sòng nǐ yíjiàn lǐwù de. Nǐ xiǎng bùxiǎng kànkàn?
I've come to give you a gift. Would you like to see it?
- Red Boy 礼物？什么礼物？
Lǐwù? Shénme lǐwù?
A gift? What gift?
- Guanyin 就是这朵莲花。它只给好孩子坐。
Jiùshì zhè duǒ liánhuā. Tā zhǐ gěi hǎo háizi zuò.
This lotus flower. It's only for good children to sit on.
- Red Boy 好孩子？我就是好孩子！我坐一下，只坐一下。
Hǎo háizi? Wǒ jiùshì hǎo háizi! Wǒ zuò yíxià, zhǐ zuò yíxià.
A good child? That's me! I'll sit just for a moment.
- Red Boy 哈哈，真舒服！这个座位比我的石头椅子好多了！
Hāhā, zhēn shūfú! Zhège zuòwèi bǐ wǒ de shítou yǐzi hǎoduō le!
Ha ha, so comfortable! This seat is much better than my stone chair!
- Guanyin 是啊。现在，你可以坐得久一点了。
Shì a. Xiànzài, nǐ kěyǐ zuò de jiǔ yìdiǎn le.
Yes. Now you can stay a long time.
- Red Boy 哎呀！莲花里面有小刀！快放我出来！
Āiyā! Liánhuā lǐmiàn yǒu xiǎo dāo! Kuài fàng wǒ chūlái!
Aiya! There are little blades in the lotus! Let me out!
