Wukong knocks politely at Banana Cave, but the princess has not forgiven him. One wave of her fan sends him flying, and an old monk seems to be expecting him.

Princess! There's a monkey outside! He says his name is Sun Wukong!

Sūn Wùkōng? Ràng tā děngzhe. Wǒ de shànzi ne?
Sun Wukong? Make him wait. Where is my fan?

Monkey, you dare come here? Where is my son?
- Sun Wukong 嫂子别生气。他很好，现在叫善财，在观音菩萨那里。
Sǎozi bié shēngqì. Tā hěn hǎo, xiànzài jiào Shàncái, zài Guānyīn Púsà nàlǐ.
Don't be angry, Sister-in-law. He's fine. His name is Shancai now, and he's with Guanyin.
- Princess Iron Fan 别叫我嫂子！他才十岁，就去做小和尚了！
Bié jiào wǒ sǎozi! Tā cái shí suì, jiù qù zuò xiǎo héshang le!
Don't call me that! He's only ten, and he's gone off to be a little monk!
- Sun Wukong 他真的很快乐。嫂子，我只想借你的扇子。
Tā zhēn de hěn kuàilè. Sǎozi, wǒ zhǐ xiǎng jiè nǐ de shànzi.
He's truly happy. Sister-in-law, I only want to borrow your fan.
- Princess Iron Fan 借扇子？做梦！你带走我的儿子，还想借我的宝贝？
Jiè shànzi? Zuòmèng! Nǐ dàizǒu wǒ de érzi, hái xiǎng jiè wǒ de bǎobèi?
Borrow my fan? Dream on! You took my son, and now you want to borrow my treasure?
- Sun Wukong 就借一下！我三天以后就还你！
Jiù jiè yíxià! Wǒ sān tiān yǐhòu jiù huán nǐ!
Just for a little while! I'll give it back in three days!
- Princess Iron Fan 不借！不借！不借！走开！
Bú jiè! Bú jiè! Bú jiè! Zǒukāi!
No! No! No! Get lost!
- Sun Wukong 好话不听，那老孙只好动手了。
Hǎo huà bù tīng, nà Lǎo Sūn zhǐhǎo dòngshǒu le.
You won't listen to kind words, so Old Sun will have to act.
- Sun Wukong 嫂子，山上的火太大了。师父他们都快热坏了！
Sǎozi, shān shàng de huǒ tài dà le. Shīfu tāmen dōu kuài rè huài le!
Sister-in-law, the fire on the mountain is too big. Master and the others are nearly melting!
- Princess Iron Fan 看剑！你的棍子不怕我的剑吗？
Kàn jiàn! Nǐ de gùnzi bú pà wǒ de jiàn ma?
Look out! Isn't your staff afraid of my sword?
- Sun Wukong 哈哈！嫂子的剑真快！再来一下！
Hā hā! Sǎozi de jiàn zhēn kuài! Zài lái yíxià!
Ha ha! Your sword is so fast, Sister-in-law! Come again!
- The Maid 公主，加油！打他的头！
Gōngzhǔ, jiāyóu! Dǎ tā de tóu!
Go, Princess! Hit him on the head!
- Princess Iron Fan 好，你想玩，我就让你飞。
Hǎo, nǐ xiǎng wán, wǒ jiù ràng nǐ fēi.
Fine. You want to play? I'll make you fly.
- Princess Iron Fan 看我的扇子！去吧，猴子！
Kàn wǒ de shànzi! Qù ba, hóuzi!
Look at my fan! Off you go, monkey!
- Sun Wukong 哎呀！风太大了！我……我停不下来啦！
Āiyā! Fēng tài dà le! Wǒ… wǒ tíng bù xiàlái la!
Aaah! The wind is too strong! I… I can't stop!
- Princess Iron Fan 五万里！你慢慢飞吧！
Wǔ wàn lǐ! Nǐ mànmàn fēi ba!
Fifty thousand li! Take your time flying!
- Sun Wukong 头好晕……这扇子比我的筋斗云还快！
Tóu hǎo yūn… Zhè shànzi bǐ wǒ de jīndǒuyún hái kuài!
I'm so dizzy… This fan is faster than my somersault cloud!
- Sun Wukong 一扇就是五万里……老孙从来没这样过。
Yì shān jiùshì wǔ wàn lǐ… Lǎo Sūn cónglái méi zhèyàng guò.
One wave, fifty thousand li… Old Sun has never flown like this.
- Narrator 风吹了一夜，才慢慢停下来。天也慢慢亮了。
Fēng chuī le yí yè, cái mànmàn tíng xiàlái. Tiān yě mànmàn liàng le.
The wind blew all night before it slowly died down. Day slowly began to dawn.
- Sun Wukong 哎哟！这是什么地方？
Āiyō! Zhè shì shénme dìfang?
Ow! Where is this?
- Sun Wukong 师父和八戒还在等我。不知道他们热不热。我得回去！
Shīfu hé Bājiè hái zài děng wǒ. Bù zhīdào tāmen rè bú rè. Wǒ děi huíqù!
Master and Bajie are still waiting for me. I wonder if they're hot. I have to go back!
- Lingji Bodhisattva 大圣，不用急。先坐下来喝口水。
Dàshèng, búyòng jí. Xiān zuò xiàlái hē kǒu shuǐ.
Great Sage, no need to hurry. Sit down and have some water first.
- Sun Wukong 谁？啊，一位老和尚！你是……
Shéi? À, yí wèi lǎo héshang! Nǐ shì…
Who? Ah, an old monk! Who are you…
- Lingji Bodhisattva 我是灵吉菩萨。这里是小须弥山。
Wǒ shì Língjí Púsà. Zhèlǐ shì Xiǎo Xūmí Shān.
I am Lingji Bodhisattva. This is Little Sumeru Mountain.
- Sun Wukong 灵吉菩萨？你怎么知道我会来这儿？
Língjí Púsà? Nǐ zěnme zhīdào wǒ huì lái zhèr?
Lingji Bodhisattva? How did you know I would come here?
- Lingji Bodhisattva 很多年前，有人对我说：会有一只猴子飞来。
Hěn duō nián qián, yǒu rén duì wǒ shuō: huì yǒu yì zhī hóuzi fēi lái.
Many years ago, someone told me: a monkey will come flying.
- Sun Wukong 有人？谁对你说的？
Yǒu rén? Shéi duì nǐ shuō de?
Someone? Who told you?
- Lingji Bodhisattva 以后你就知道了。我等你很久了。有一样东西，是给你的。
Yǐhòu nǐ jiù zhīdào le. Wǒ děng nǐ hěn jiǔ le. Yǒu yí yàng dōngxi, shì gěi nǐ de.
