Wukong wakes to a very strange morning, and his master is still tied up in the Yellow Wind Cave. To save him, Wukong needs the one helper the king fears.

- Zhu Bajie 天亮了……天哪！房子呢？老人呢？我们怎么睡在草地上？
Tiān liàng le… Tiān na! Fángzi ne? Lǎorén ne? Wǒmen zěnme shuì zài cǎodì shàng?
It's morning... Oh no! Where's the house? Where's the old man? Why are we sleeping on the grass?
- Sun Wukong 呆子，你看！老孙的眼睛昨天睁不开，今天好了！老人晚上给的药真好！
Dāizi, nǐ kàn! Lǎo Sūn de yǎnjing zuótiān zhēng bu kāi, jīntiān hǎo le! Lǎorén wǎnshang gěi de yào zhēn hǎo!
Idiot, look! Yesterday Old Sun's eyes wouldn't open, and today they're fine! The old man's medicine from last night really works!
- Zhu Bajie 可是，房子和老人到哪里去了？
Kěshì, fángzi hé lǎorén dào nǎlǐ qù le?
But where did the house and the old man go?

Tiānshàng yǒu shēngyīn shuō: “Dàshèng, fángzi shì wǒmen biàn de. Púsà jiào wǒmen lái bāng nǐ.”
A voice from the sky said, “Great Sage, we made that house. The Bodhisattva sent us to help you.”
- Sun Wukong 原来是菩萨的人！好，老孙变得很小很小，飞进洞去找师父！
Yuánlái shì Púsà de rén! Hǎo, Lǎo Sūn biàn de hěn xiǎo hěn xiǎo, fēi jìn dòng qù zhǎo shīfu!
So they're the Bodhisattva's people! Right. Old Sun will turn very, very small and fly into the cave to find Master!
- Tang Seng 悟空……八戒……你们在哪里？
Wùkōng… Bājiè… nǐmen zài nǎlǐ?
Wukong... Bajie... where are you?
- Sun Wukong 师父，是我！老孙在你头上呢。别说话！
Shīfu, shì wǒ! Lǎo Sūn zài nǐ tóu shàng ne. Bié shuōhuà!
Master, it's me! Old Sun is on your head. Don't say a word!
- Tang Seng 悟空！他们把我绑在院子里。他们说，明天就煮了我……
Wùkōng! Tāmen bǎ wǒ bǎng zài yuànzi lǐ. Tāmen shuō, míngtiān jiù zhǔ le wǒ…
Wukong! They've tied me up here in the yard. They say they'll boil me tomorrow...
- Sun Wukong 师父，别哭，也别怕。老孙去听听大王说什么。
Shīfu, bié kū, yě bié pà. Lǎo Sūn qù tīngting dàwáng shuō shénme.
Don't cry, Master, and don't be afraid. Old Sun is going to hear what the king is saying.
- the Yellow Wind King 孙行者的眼睛一定坏了！我谁都不怕，只怕灵吉菩萨。可是他不会来！
Sūn Xíngzhě de yǎnjing yídìng huài le! Wǒ shéi dōu bú pà, zhǐ pà Língjí Púsà. Kěshì tā bú huì lái!
Sun Wukong's eyes must be ruined! I'm afraid of no one except Lingji Bodhisattva. And he won't come!
- Sun Wukong 呆子！老孙听见了，大王只怕灵吉菩萨！
Dāizi! Lǎo Sūn tīngjiàn le, dàwáng zhǐ pà Língjí Púsà!
Idiot! Old Sun heard it: the king is afraid of no one but Lingji Bodhisattva!
- Zhu Bajie 好啊！灵吉菩萨住在哪里？
Hǎo a! Língjí Púsà zhù zài nǎlǐ?
Great! Where does Lingji Bodhisattva live?
- Sun Wukong 这个……老孙也不知道。
Zhège… Lǎo Sūn yě bù zhīdào.
Well... Old Sun doesn't know either.
- Narrator 路边有一个老人说：“往南走三千里，灵吉菩萨就在那里。”
Lùbiān yǒu yí gè lǎorén shuō: “Wǎng nán zǒu sānqiān lǐ, Língjí Púsà jiù zài nàlǐ.”
An old man by the road said, “Go three thousand li south. Lingji Bodhisattva is there.”
- Zhu Bajie 哥哥，那个老人不见了！地上有纸，纸上有字！
Gēge, nàge lǎorén bú jiàn le! Dì shàng yǒu zhǐ, zhǐ shàng yǒu zì!
Brother, that old man has vanished! There's paper on the ground, with writing on it!
- Sun Wukong “太白金星”？这个老人，老孙认识！好，老孙去也！
“Tàibái Jīnxīng”? Zhège lǎorén, Lǎo Sūn rènshi! Hǎo, Lǎo Sūn qù yě!
“Taibai Jinxing”? Old Sun knows this old man! Right, Old Sun is off!
- Sun Wukong 灵吉菩萨！黄风大王抓了我师父，请您帮帮老孙！
Língjí Púsà! Huángfēng Dàwáng zhuā le wǒ shīfu, qǐng nín bāngbang Lǎo Sūn!
Lingji Bodhisattva! The Yellow Wind King has taken my master. Please help Old Sun!
- Lingji Bodhisattva 大圣别急。我有佛祖给的宝贝。你去叫他出来，我在云上等。
Dàshèng bié jí. Wǒ yǒu Fózǔ gěi de bǎobèi. Nǐ qù jiào tā chūlai, wǒ zài yún shàng děng.
Don't worry, Great Sage. I have a treasure the Buddha gave me. Go and call him out. I'll wait up on the clouds.
- Sun Wukong 黄风怪，出来！老孙又来了！
Huángfēng Guài, chūlai! Lǎo Sūn yòu lái le!
Yellow Wind demon, come out! Old Sun is back!
- the Yellow Wind King 小猴子，眼睛又好了？好，我再吹！
Xiǎo hóuzi, yǎnjing yòu hǎo le? Hǎo, wǒ zài chuī!
Little monkey, eyes better again? Fine, I'll blow again!
- Lingji Bodhisattva 宝贝，去吧！
Bǎobèi, qù ba!
Go, my treasure!
- Narrator 那个宝贝变成了一条金龙，抓着大王飞了起来。
Nàge bǎobèi biànchéng le yì tiáo jīn lóng, zhuāzhe dàwáng fēi le qǐlai.
The treasure became a golden dragon, and it flew up with the king in its grip.
- Zhu Bajie 天哪！大王变小了……原来是一只黄毛的小动物！
Tiān na! Dàwáng biàn xiǎo le… yuánlái shì yì zhī huáng máo de xiǎo dòngwù!
Heavens! The king has shrunk... he's only a little yellow-furred animal!
- Lingji Bodhisattva 他原来在灵山，偷了佛祖的灯油，跑到这里做妖怪。我带他走了。
Tā yuánlái zài Líng Shān, tōu le Fózǔ de dēngyóu, pǎo dào zhèlǐ zuò yāoguài. Wǒ dài tā zǒu le.
He used to live on Vulture Peak. He stole the Buddha's lamp oil and ran off here to be a demon. I'll take him away now.
- Sun Wukong 谢谢灵吉菩萨！呆子，走，救师父去！
Xièxie Língjí Púsà! Dāizi, zǒu, jiù shīfu qù!
Thank you, Lingji Bodhisattva! Come on, idiot, let's go and save Master!
- Tang Seng 悟空！八戒！我还以为，我要死在这里了……
Wùkōng! Bājiè! Wǒ hái yǐwéi, wǒ yào sǐ zài zhèlǐ le…
Wukong! Bajie! I thought I was going to die here...
- Zhu Bajie 师父，你的眼泪，比哥哥昨天的还多！
Shīfu, nǐ de yǎnlèi, bǐ gēge zuótiān de hái duō!
Master, you've got even more tears than my brother had yesterday!
- Sun Wukong 老孙那不是眼泪，是沙子！
Lǎo Sūn nà bú shì yǎnlèi, shì shāzi!
Those weren't Old Sun's tears! That was sand!
- Narrator 秋天到了。他们走到一条大河前边，河边没有船。
Qiūtiān dào le. Tāmen zǒu dào yì tiáo dà hé qiánbian, hé biān méiyǒu chuán.
Autumn came. They reached a great river, and there was no boat on its bank.
- Tang Seng 徒弟们，这么大的河，我们怎么过去？
Túdìmen, zhème dà de hé, wǒmen zěnme guòqu?
My disciples, a river this big... how will we get across?
