Arthur builds a table where everyone is equal. On New Year's night, a huge green rider bursts in with a strange game.

Hǎo! Zhè zhāng zhuōzi shàng, néng fàng hěn duō hǎo chī de!
Good! This table can hold so much good food!
- Lancelot 国王，我是兰斯洛特。我想做您的骑士。
Guówáng, wǒ shì Lánsīluòtè. Wǒ xiǎng zuò nín de qíshì.
Your Majesty, I am Lancelot. I would like to be your knight.
- Arthur 欢迎你，兰斯洛特！请坐。
Huānyíng nǐ, Lánsīluòtè! Qǐng zuò.
Welcome, Lancelot! Please sit.
- Merlin 很好，亚瑟。骑士们都来了。
Hěn hǎo, Yàsè. Qíshìmen dōu lái le.
Very good, Arthur. The knights are all coming.
- Arthur 有了圆桌，我们就是一家人！

A year later, on New Year's night, the castle was full of noise and joy.

Your Majesty, let's eat! My stomach is calling!
- Arthur 等一下，凯。新年，我们先听新故事，再吃饭。
Děng yíxià, Kǎi. Xīnnián, wǒmen xiān tīng xīn gùshi, zài chīfàn.
Wait, Kay. On New Year's, we hear a new story first, and then we eat.
- Kay 又是这样！我太饿了！我要吃肉！
Yòu shì zhèyàng! Wǒ tài è le! Wǒ yào chī ròu!
Again! I'm too hungry! I want meat!
- Gawain 哈哈！凯，你只想吃！
Hāhā! Kǎi, nǐ zhǐ xiǎng chī!
Ha ha! Kay, all you think about is food!
- Gawain 国王，我也想听新故事！

Your Majesty, I want a new story too!

- Kay 他……他是绿色的！

He... he's green!
- Arthur 我是这儿的国王。你是谁？你从哪儿来？
Wǒ shì zhèr de guówáng. Nǐ shì shéi? Nǐ cóng nǎr lái?
I am the king here. Who are you? Where do you come from?
- Green Knight 我是绿骑士。我有一个游戏，很好玩。
Wǒ shì lǜ qíshì. Wǒ yǒu yí gè yóuxì, hěn hǎowán.
I am the Green Knight. I have a game, and it's a fun one.
- Green Knight 谁敢用这把斧头砍我一下？
Shéi gǎn yòng zhè bǎ fǔtou kǎn wǒ yíxià?
Who dares to strike me once with this axe?
- Green Knight 一年以后，我也砍他一下。
