Kind Mr. Dongguo hides a scared wolf from a hunter. Then the wolf climbs out of the bag, rubs his belly and says he is hungry.

- Mr. Dongguo 我是东郭先生。我爱读书，不爱走路。
Wǒ shì Dōngguō xiānsheng. Wǒ ài dúshū, bú ài zǒulù.
I'm Mr. Dongguo. I love reading, and I do not love walking.
- The Wolf 先生！先生！救救我！
Xiānsheng! Xiānsheng! Jiùjiu wǒ!

- The Wolf 别怕！我不吃你。猎人在找我！
Bié pà! Wǒ bù chī nǐ. Lièrén zài zhǎo wǒ!
Don't be afraid! I won't eat you. A hunter is after me!
- The Wolf 我很小，也很怕。你是好人，救救我吧！
Wǒ hěn xiǎo, yě hěn pà. Nǐ shì hǎorén, jiùjiu wǒ ba!
I'm small and I'm scared. You're a good man. Please save me!
- Mr. Dongguo 他的眼睛好大，好怕。我不能不帮他。
Tā de yǎnjing hǎo dà, hǎo pà. Wǒ bù néng bù bāng tā.
His eyes are so big and scared. I can't not help him.
- Mr. Dongguo 唉，好吧。快，进我的书包！
Āi, hǎo ba. Kuài, jìn wǒ de shūbāo!
Oh, all right. Quick, into my book bag!
- Mr. Dongguo 书，别说话。狼，你也别说话。
Shū, bié shuōhuà. Láng, nǐ yě bié shuōhuà.

- The Hunter 喂！先生！你看到狼了吗？
Wèi! Xiānsheng! Nǐ kàndào láng le ma?
Hey! Sir! Have you seen a wolf?
- Mr. Dongguo 狼？没有，没有。我只有书。
Láng? Méiyǒu, méiyǒu. Wǒ zhǐ yǒu shū.
A wolf? No, no. I only have books.
- The Hunter 一只灰狼，很大！它往哪儿跑了？
Yì zhī huī láng, hěn dà! Tā wǎng nǎr pǎo le?

- Mr. Dongguo 好像……往那边跑了。你快去吧！

- The Wolf 有啊。先生，你就是肉！

Shénme?! Wǒ jiù le nǐ! Nǐ bú shì shuō bù chī wǒ ma?

- The Wolf 是啊。可是我太饿了。我要吃你！
Shì a. Kěshì wǒ tài è le. Wǒ yào chī nǐ!
