In a howling storm, the Dragon King pounds on Li Jing's gate with a terrible demand, and Nezha refuses to say he's sorry.

That night, heavy rain began to fall on Chentang Pass.

Long black clouds twisted across the sky like dragons.
- The Dragon King 李靖！李靖！你出来！
Lǐ Jìng! Lǐ Jìng! Nǐ chūlái!
Li Jing! Li Jing! Come out here!

Wǒ bú jìnqù! Nǐ de érzi zài Dōng Hǎi nào, hái dǎ le wǒ de érzi!
I will not come in! Your son has been making trouble in the Eastern Sea, and he attacked my son!
- Li Jing 我的儿子？不会吧，他才七岁啊！
Wǒ de érzi? Bú huì ba, tā cái qī suì a!
My son? That can't be. He's only seven!
- The Dragon King 就是哪吒！他还打了我的夜叉！
Jiù shì Nézhā! Tā hái dǎ le wǒ de yèchā!
It was Nezha! And he hit my sea guard too!
- Li Jing 哪吒！你过来！
Nézhā! Nǐ guòlái!
Nezha! Come here!
- Nezha 爸爸，我在这儿。
Bàba, wǒ zài zhèr.
I'm here, Father.
- Li Jing 你是不是打了三太子？
Nǐ shì bú shì dǎ le sān tàizǐ?
Did you hit the Third Prince?
- Nezha 是我打的。可是，是他们先打我的！
Shì wǒ dǎ de. Kěshì, shì tāmen xiān dǎ wǒ de!
Yes, I hit him. But they went after me first!
- Li Jing 你还说！快给龙王认错！
Nǐ hái shuō! Kuài gěi Lóngwáng rèn cuò!
Don't you talk back! Apologize to the Dragon King, now!
- Nezha 我没有错！我不认错！
Wǒ méiyǒu cuò! Wǒ bú rèn cuò!
I did nothing wrong! I won't apologize!
- The Dragon King 好，好！李靖，你听着！明天早上，你把哪吒给我！
Hǎo, hǎo! Lǐ Jìng, nǐ tīngzhe! Míngtiān zǎoshang, nǐ bǎ Nézhā gěi wǒ!
Very well! Li Jing, listen to me! By tomorrow morning, you will hand Nezha over to me!
- The Dragon King 不给，我就让大水进陈塘关！
Bù gěi, wǒ jiù ràng dà shuǐ jìn Chéntáng Guān!
If you don't, I will send the sea flooding into Chentang Pass!
- Li Jing 龙王，别生气！他还是个孩子啊！
Lóngwáng, bié shēngqì! Tā hái shi ge háizi a!
Dragon King, please don't be angry! He's only a child!
- Narrator 龙王大叫一声，回到了黑云里。雨更大了。
Lóngwáng dà jiào yì shēng, huí dào le hēi yún lǐ. Yǔ gèng dà le.
With a roar, the Dragon King rose back into the black clouds. The rain poured down harder than ever.
- Li Jing 哪吒！你看你做的好事！
Nézhā! Nǐ kàn nǐ zuò de hǎo shì!
Nezha! Look what you've done!
- Nezha 是他们先打人的！爸爸，你为什么不帮我？
Shì tāmen xiān dǎ rén de! Bàba, nǐ wèishénme bù bāng wǒ?
They started it! Father, why won't you stand up for me?
- Li Jing 他是龙王！大水来了，陈塘关的人怎么办？
Tā shì Lóngwáng! Dà shuǐ lái le, Chéntáng Guān de rén zěnme bàn?
He's the Dragon King! If the sea comes, what will happen to the people of Chentang Pass?
- Nezha 陈塘关的人……都是因为我吗？
Chéntáng Guān de rén… dōu shì yīnwèi wǒ ma?
The people of Chentang Pass… is this all because of me?
