The Sea Guard
夜叉来了
A blue-faced guard bursts out of the waves with a huge axe, demanding to know who turned the Dragon King's sea red. Nezha isn't the least bit scared.

- Narrator 哪吒还在水里玩儿。忽然，海上起了一个大浪。
Nézhā hái zài shuǐ lǐ wánr. Hūrán, hǎi shàng qǐ le yí gè dà làng.
Nezha was still playing in the water. Suddenly, a huge wave rose up out of the sea.
- Nezha 好大的浪！
Hǎo dà de làng!
What a huge wave!
- Narrator 一个蓝脸的夜叉，从水里跳了出来！
Yí gè lán liǎn de yèchā, cóng shuǐ lǐ tiào le chūlái!
A blue-faced sea guard leaped out of the water!

Nǎlǐ lái de xiǎohái? Shuǐ hóng le, shì nǐ zuò de ma?
Where did you come from, kid? The water's turned red. Was that you?
- Nezha 是我。你是谁？你的脸怎么是蓝的？
Shì wǒ. Nǐ shì shéi? Nǐ de liǎn zěnme shì lán de?
It was me. Who are you? Why is your face blue?
- The Sea Guard 我是东海的夜叉！龙宫都在动，龙王很生气！
Wǒ shì Dōng Hǎi de yèchā! Lónggōng dōu zài dòng, Lóngwáng hěn shēngqì!
I am the guard of the Eastern Sea! The whole palace is shaking, and the Dragon King is furious!
- Nezha 龙王生气，关我什么事？我在洗我的混天绫。
Lóngwáng shēngqì, guān wǒ shénme shì? Wǒ zài xǐ wǒ de Hùntiān Líng.
So the Dragon King is angry. What's that got to do with me? I'm washing my sash.
- The Sea Guard 你这个坏孩子！看我的大斧子！
Nǐ zhège huài háizi! Kàn wǒ de dà fǔzi!
You rotten little brat! Here comes my axe!
- Nezha 他很高，斧子也很大……我不怕！
Tā hěn gāo, fǔzi yě hěn dà… wǒ bú pà!
He's big, and so is that axe… but I'm not scared!
- Nezha 乾坤圈，去！
Qiánkūn Quān, qù!
Qiankun Ring, go!
- Narrator 乾坤圈飞了出去，打中了夜叉。
Qiánkūn Quān fēi le chūqù, dǎzhòng le yèchā.
The Qiankun Ring flew through the air and struck the guard.
- The Sea Guard 好疼！好疼！
Hǎo téng! Hǎo téng!
Ow! It hurts, it hurts!
- Nezha 哈哈，他掉进海里了！
Hāhā, tā diào jìn hǎi lǐ le!
Ha ha, he fell back into the sea!
- The Sea Guard 你等着！我去告诉龙王！
Nǐ děngzhe! Wǒ qù gàosu Lóngwáng!
You just wait! I'm telling the Dragon King!
- Nezha 去吧，去吧！我不怕你们！
Qù ba, qù ba! Wǒ bú pà nǐmen!
Go on, then! I'm not afraid of any of you!
- Nezha 乾坤圈，你也脏了。来，洗一洗！
Qiánkūn Quān, nǐ yě zāng le. Lái, xǐ yi xǐ!
Qiankun Ring, you got dirty too. Come here, let's wash you!
- Narrator 乾坤圈一到水里，龙宫又动了起来。
Qiánkūn Quān yí dào shuǐ lǐ, lónggōng yòu dòng le qǐlái.
The moment the ring touched the water, the palace began to shake again.
- The Dragon King 动了！龙宫还在动！夜叉，你看见了什么？
Dòng le! Lónggōng hái zài dòng! Yèchā, nǐ kànjiàn le shénme?
It's shaking! My palace is still shaking! Sea Guard, what did you see?
- The Sea Guard 大王，是一个七岁的小孩。他很能打！
Dàwáng, shì yí gè qī suì de xiǎohái. Tā hěn néng dǎ!
Your Majesty, it's a little boy, seven years old. And he can really fight!
- The Dragon King 一个小孩？你打不过一个小孩？
Yí gè xiǎohái? Nǐ dǎ bú guò yí gè xiǎohái?
A little boy? You couldn't beat a little boy?
- Ao Bing 父王，别生气。我去！
Fùwáng, bié shēngqì. Wǒ qù!
Father, don't be angry. I'll go!
- The Dragon King 好！敖丙，我的好儿子，你去！
Hǎo! Áo Bǐng, wǒ de hǎo érzi, nǐ qù!
Good! Ao Bing, my fine son, you go!
