Deep in the dark belly of the Dogfish, Pinocchio follows a little light. Could Papa still be alive in here?

Pinocchio walked a long way through the dark belly.
- Pinocchio 那点光……是一个小灯！
Nà diǎn guāng… shì yí gè xiǎo dēng!
That light... it's a little lamp!
- Narrator 小灯在一个瓶子里。瓶子边上，坐着一个老人。
Xiǎo dēng zài yí gè píngzi lǐ. Píngzi biānshang, zuò zhe yí gè lǎorén.
The little lamp stood in a bottle. Beside the bottle sat an old man.

Papa! Papa! Is it really you?
- Geppetto 匹诺曹？我的孩子？……这是梦吗？
Pǐnuòcáo? Wǒ de háizi? … Zhè shì mèng ma?
Pinocchio? My boy? ...Is this a dream?
- Pinocchio 不是梦！你看，木头的鼻子！是我！
Bú shì mèng! Nǐ kàn, mùtou de bízi! Shì wǒ!
It's not a dream! Look, a wooden nose! It's me!
- Geppetto 我的孩子……爸爸天天想你！
Wǒ de háizi… bàba tiāntiān xiǎng nǐ!
My boy... Papa missed you every single day!
- Pinocchio 爸爸，对不起！我会做一个好孩子！
Bàba, duìbuqǐ! Wǒ huì zuò yí gè hǎo háizi!
Papa, I'm sorry! I'm going to be a good boy!
- Pinocchio 爸爸，你在这儿几天了？
Bàba, nǐ zài zhèr jǐ tiān le?
Papa, how many days have you been in here?
- Geppetto 几天？两年了！大鲨鱼也吃了一条大船，上边有很多吃的。
Jǐ tiān? Liǎng nián le! Dà Shāyú yě chī le yì tiáo dà chuán, shàngbian yǒu hěn duō chī de.
Days? Two years! The Dogfish swallowed a big ship too, with lots of food on board.
- Geppetto 现在，什么都没有了。这是最后一个小灯了。
Xiànzài, shénme dōu méiyǒu le. Zhè shì zuìhòu yí gè xiǎo dēng le.
Now there's nothing left. This is my very last lamp.
- Pinocchio 爸爸，我们得走了！现在就走！
Bàba, wǒmen děi zǒu le! Xiànzài jiù zǒu!
Papa, we have to go! Right now!
- Geppetto 走？去哪儿？爸爸不会游泳。
Zǒu? Qù nǎr? Bàba bú huì yóuyǒng.
Go? Go where? Papa can't swim.
- Pinocchio 我会！我是木头做的！爸爸，跟我走！
Wǒ huì! Wǒ shì mùtou zuò de! Bàba, gēn wǒ zǒu!
I can! I'm made of wood! Papa, come with me!
- Narrator 大鲨鱼很老了。睡觉的时候，嘴是开着的。
Dà Shāyú hěn lǎo le. Shuìjiào de shíhou, zuǐ shì kāi zhe de.
The Dogfish was very old. When it slept, its mouth hung open.
- Pinocchio 小声一点……小心它的牙……
Xiǎoshēng yìdiǎn… xiǎoxīn tā de yá…
Quiet now... watch out for its teeth...
- Geppetto 别叫醒它……
Bié jiàoxǐng tā…
Don't wake it...
- Pinocchio 爸爸，上来，抱着我！一、二、三，跳！
Bàba, shànglai, bào zhe wǒ! Yī, èr, sān, tiào!
Papa, climb on and hold on to me! One, two, three, jump!
- Narrator 他们出来了。大鲨鱼还在睡觉。
Tāmen chūlai le. Dà Shāyú hái zài shuìjiào.
They were out. The Dogfish was still asleep.
- Pinocchio 爸爸，别怕！海边不远了！
Bàba, bié pà! Hǎibiān bù yuǎn le!
Don't be scared, Papa! The shore isn't far!
- Pinocchio 我……我好累……
Wǒ… wǒ hǎo lèi…
I'm... I'm so tired...
- Geppetto 孩子，放下我吧。你看，爸爸会游泳。
Háizi, fàngxia wǒ ba. Nǐ kàn, bàba huì yóuyǒng.
Let me go, child. See, Papa can swim.
- Pinocchio 你不会！爸爸，你又骗我！我不放！
Nǐ bú huì! Bàba, nǐ yòu piàn wǒ! Wǒ bú fàng!
You can't! Papa, you're fibbing again! I won't let go!
- the Tunny 匹诺曹！是我，金枪鱼！你们都上来！
Pǐnuòcáo! Shì wǒ, jīnqiāngyú! Nǐmen dōu shànglai!
Pinocchio! It's me, the Tunny! Both of you, climb on!
- Pinocchio 金枪鱼！你也出来了！你救了我们！
Jīnqiāngyú! Nǐ yě chūlai le! Nǐ jiù le wǒmen!
Tunny! You got out too! You saved us!
- Narrator 早上，他们到了海边。
Zǎoshang, tāmen dào le hǎibiān.
In the morning, they reached the shore.
- Geppetto 孩子……爸爸走不动了……
Háizi… bàba zǒu bu dòng le…
Child... Papa can't walk any farther...
- Pinocchio 你看，路上有人……走得很慢很慢……是狐狸和猫！
Nǐ kàn, lùshang yǒu rén… zǒu de hěn màn hěn màn… shì Húli hé Māo!
Look, someone's on the road... walking so, so slowly... it's the Fox and the Cat!
- The Fox 匹诺曹，我的好朋友！有吃的吗？
Pǐnuòcáo, wǒ de hǎo péngyou! Yǒu chī de ma?
